A fun local pub with 3 pool tables and better than average food and service. About 30 minutes from Waldo / Brookside just north of I70 and 291, very easy to find with plenty of parking. This is a nice clean joint with a lively crowd and free water! The princess and I are sure to return.

Outstanding service! I've only been here on the weekdays for lunch and there's not any harder working bartenders anywhere. Taco Thursday is my favorite and they don't disappoint either. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. You just can't go wrong stopping by Erin's Pub for some grub and a cold beer or cocktail.

I've been going here for over 20 years. Staff have always been Great. Carl is an amazing cook. Erin is always quick to host a benefit. The pub is Always Welcoming to Everyone. I will continue to go there

Just the right place to come get a drink and play some pool. Very nice atmosphere and the kitchen the puts out some great looking pub food. Daily specials, clean pool tables, good music, and a great staff behind the bar will keep you coming in any night of the week. Come have a drink and blow off some steam

Really great local bar. Tacos were good. Drinks were good. Seemed a little short staffed, but still taking care of.

Friday night steak night is a must! 10oz KC Strip cooked to perfection. By far one of the best steaks in Kansas City. For $20 you get the amazing steak, salad and potato plus you can add some delicious fried shrimp for s few extra bucks. Erin’s pub also has s great staff. Give them a try you will not be sorry!

It's a bar, so don't expect fancy. But it was comfortable and cozy. My friend and I met there for a late lunch on a Saturday, and we were able to get a table with no problem. Not so loud at that time of day that we didn't have to shout to each other to talk. The food was good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Prices were good. I got the chicken quesadillas (plenty big plate) and a margarita, and my tab was $16.25. No, I did not go there at the busy time of day, so I don't know what kind of crowd would be there otherwise, but that's what we planned...a nice, cozy, comfortable place with good food, good drinks, no unruly children, where we could could catch up. I would go back again, so I definitely recommend it.

Just kinda curious as to the point of having a doorman and the waitress checking the ID of only one member of a party in both places when alcohol is served all around. If you have one person checked, check everyone else's. Not too terribly impressed with this place...not to mention over charged for drinks that were never had. I get bad days, but this is ridiculous.

I was cutoff from the bar after having just a few drinks. I wasn't stumbling around. As soon as my friend told the bartender he was paying for everything they reluctantly gave me my debit card back amd started acting rude and unprofessional towards me. Before I left around 11pm with my ride, they threatened to blacklist me from thier establishment. I don't recommend going to this bar.

The best dive in Independence. 3 pool tables, karaoke and everything else you'd expect from a sports bar.

Darian is the best waitress I've ever had. She is super personable and attentive. Makes the environment!

Great service. Would have liked to have had seats that would be better for handicapped people. Tall bar stools don't work.

The food is great. The service is great. The atmosphere isn't so wondrous. I mean inside the bar it's pretty standard and no great shakes. The area outside is where you go to smoke or you may instead enjoy the vroom vroom vroom of Hwy. 291 as thousands of cars go by nonstop buteither way its near enough to be a nuisance. If they can't get 291 moved further away then I guess we will have to live with the noise, quit smoking or just stay inside and enjoy the food , drinks, pool tables, gambling machines, and the company of some very nice and interesting fellow customers.

If you get sad here and stop to think about it, they will kick you out. You had better be happy or they will get you.

Food is very good ,service is a little slow and split too many things for one person to be doing. And the place definitely needs a good cleaning and some updating.

Chicken strips and fries were fine. Not bad, just run of the mill bar food. Took a long time for our order to be taken and a long time for the food to come out though.

Be careful when entering the building there is a small step down when entering the courtyard. It is poorly marked and they could care less about the safety of the customer. After falling I could barely get a bandaid. I hadn't had a single drop of alcohol. Today I am laid up with a twisted ankle with the bruises and scraps. I was never even approached by manager to see if I was okay. The regulars were saying people fall there all the time, they had seen worse. At the very least they need a step down sign, better marking on the sidewalk something anything better than a worn out line. I'd never been there before and didn't know about the step. I can't afford to break a bone can you? I think they are inviting someone to get hurt seriously. This is MY opinion if you need it for your court case!

This is an awesome spot! The staff is super accommodating, kind and efficient. Andrea is awesome and the bud light is always cold!

Love this place! Darian is my favorite bartender ever. I come in every Monday and Thursday because she remembers my name and what I drink, and is always fun to talk to. In general, Erin's is a great place to check in often, make new friends, and relax with a drink. It is my go-to bar.

I have been supporting this bar forever. Always a smiling face, best food around hounds down. I supported this bar during Covid because the food is that good. Anyone who doesn’t think this bar and grill is fabulous once you go there, then all I can say you don’t have very good taste. I love ERIN, HER BARTENDERS AND WAITRESSES. It my bar and I love it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love this spot, the staff and the owners! Great people that welcome everyone and treat all the same. Always supportive and thoughtful to make everyone feel safe. The food is good and the beer is cold. Would recommend to anyone for food, drinks or hanging out!

Food is not bad at all. Very reasonably priced during their lunchtime hours. Please isn't very big, but the time went it wasn't overly packed. Like what you see when you go there during the evening or weekends, I was actually surprised how great the food was for being at a bar. They do have three pool tables and also the upper area for more seating. Waitresses and bartenders were very friendly.

My husband and I came for the first time and had the best experience ever! Amazing food, amazing drinks, even better service. One of the places we have found that we feel welcome and tolerated. Had a GREAT time and will definitely be back! Carrie was superb! You HAVE to come check this place out!

Great bar and an amazing staff that always work very hard to accommodate our drinks and serve us amazing food! Never disappointed, and we had a great time! 3 pool tables (like new) and the patio is a blast! Never short staffed like many places are now! That says a lot about the owner and the management! Bartenders and the servers are the best! Very pleased with our food, our drinks and with the service 👍

Pretty comfortable old bar with some really good snacks. One star is removed because most of their mixed drinks have hardly any alcohol in them and they are pricey! They are very weak. Otherwise it’s a cool place. Good bathrooms. Chairs are a bit uncomfortable. Waitresses are nice.

I used to come here for wings years ago and they were good. The wings they are serving now are disgusting! They are nothing but fatty grisly, veiny nasty cheap wings. Some of the Wings even had a very bitter taste to them, I'm talking about nasty bitter. Will definitely not be back to eat their food ever again

I’ve always loved this bar, but since Carl has taken over the kitchen, Erin’s pub has went NEXT LEVEL. Best Burger in KCMO. But don’t take my word for it, ya gotta get one for yourself, no sharing!🤣🤣

The Pub is like the old TV Show Cheers. Everyone is like family. Food and drinks taste great. The prices at the Pub are seriously some of the cheapest prices anywhere. Daily food and drink specials along with one of the longest happy hours I know of.
