I
was
very
confused
by
the
food
here,
we
heard
from
some
Lee
Summit
friends
that
this
was
a
great
place
to
dine
and
decided
to
try
it
out
for
dinner.
We
tried
the
items
on
the
restaurant
week
menu,
and
for
apps
we
had
the
pepperdews
and
the
crab
artichoke
dip.
The
dip
was
delicious
but
the
pepperdews
were
tiny
and
not
worth
it
cos
you
couldn’t
taste
any
of
the
filling.
We
also
got
the
clam
chowder
and
lobster
bisque
and
boy
was
it
salty.
My
husband
and
I
struggled
to
eat
our
bowls
and
dipping
the
bread
in
was
the
only
way
to
mask
the
salt
bomb.
The
seafood
scampi
was
the
only
good
dish
we
had,
and
everything
tasted
fresh
and
well
cooked.
I
got
the
6oz
prime
strip
filet
and
again,
the
sauce
was
overwhelmingly
salty.
Not
to
mention
the
steak
was
heavily
crusted
with
salt,
and
then
wrapped
in
bacon.
The
steak
was
cooked
well
and
if
I
avoided
the
sauce,
it
was
delicious.
For
dessert,
we
each
got
the
banana
bread
pudding
cos
we’re
fans
and
just
like
intensity
of
the
previous
salt
bombs,
this
was
a
sugar
bomb.
The
syrup
that
the
pudding
was
submerged
in
was
sickly
sweet,
my
husband
and
I
kind
of
ate
the
center
and
couldn’t
finish
the
rest.
It’s
the
kind
that
would
make
your
teeth
hurt,
and
I’m
a
huge
dessert
person.
The
experience
overall
was
great,
the
staff
were
very
friendly
and
the
atmosphere
was
beautiful.
It’s
the
over-salting
and
sickly
sweet
food
that
really
confused
us,
not
sure
if
we
needed
a
smokers
palate
to
enjoy
the
food.
