Cindy was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing. Answered any questions we had and helped pick out delicious dishes for restaurant week. Checked on us throughout the meal and made sure our wine glasses were filled. The Meiomi Pinot Noir was a smooth wine and no bitter after taste like many Pinot Noir. I've never had a Peppadews and was unsure what to expect, however it was great. Smoky taste mixed with the creaminess from the melted goat cheese. I didn't except mini wedge from the Caesar salad, however it was super easy to cut up. The sour dough bread was fresh baked and the whipped butter was topped with Himalayan sea salt. The butter was the game changer. Never knew I was missing the Himalayan sea salt until today. They didn't skimp on the cheese on the salad!!! The KC Strip steak was perfectly grilled to medium well done and it was packed with flavor. Every bite was easy to chew and never a dull piece. The baked potato had the right amount of butter that melted easily. The chocolate peanut butter pie was rich, creamy and every bite peanut butter flavor. There was even the extra surprise of chocolate chips mixed in!!!

We attended Marina 27 during Restaurant Week for dinner! My husband and I were seated facing the lake! Our server was a young lady named Jordan and she was delightful! She was an excellent server and paid a lot of attention to details! Our food was delicious and our evening was quite delightful! 👏👏👏

If you ever want scenery, amazing cuisine and an incredible wine selection then this place deserves a stop. Didn't know this place was here and I'm glad I had it after all these years. Went for Restaurant Week which I reccomend highly when you want to try a place out and get 4 course meal for bit cheaper. Had the Peppadew which was a lovely app, Clam Chowder which was impeccably delicious, the Seafood Scampi which isn't listed on on regular menu so I had to get that and lastly was an amazing Chocolate Peanut Butter pie. Definitely making another trip for the charcuterie board.

We went for my bday and what a nice surprise! The quality of the desserts and the food was very nice. Also the portions. The waitress was so kind and lovely that make the night even nicer. They make a special bday card and cake I will come back! even tho it is pricy it is worth it.

I came here for an anniversary dinner with my girlfriend, and the service was top-notch. As soon as we walked in, they asked if we were celebrating anything or there for a special occasion. Everyone was very nice and professional. Our waitress made sure my food was taken care of per my allergy requirements and even came and told me when things had to be changed to make sure it was ok for me to eat. The appetizers and dinner were amazing. The drinks were great. They had a huge selection of beverages of all kinds. The view was amazing, and the A/C was amazing with how hot it was just on the other side of the window. The dessert was unbelievable, and we even got some to take home. I highly recommend Marina 27. I will dine here in the future.

I was very confused by the food here, we heard from some Lee Summit friends that this was a great place to dine and decided to try it out for dinner. We tried the items on the restaurant week menu, and for apps we had the pepperdews and the crab artichoke dip. The dip was delicious but the pepperdews were tiny and not worth it cos you couldn’t taste any of the filling. We also got the clam chowder and lobster bisque and boy was it salty. My husband and I struggled to eat our bowls and dipping the bread in was the only way to mask the salt bomb. The seafood scampi was the only good dish we had, and everything tasted fresh and well cooked. I got the 6oz prime strip filet and again, the sauce was overwhelmingly salty. Not to mention the steak was heavily crusted with salt, and then wrapped in bacon. The steak was cooked well and if I avoided the sauce, it was delicious. For dessert, we each got the banana bread pudding cos we’re fans and just like intensity of the previous salt bombs, this was a sugar bomb. The syrup that the pudding was submerged in was sickly sweet, my husband and I kind of ate the center and couldn’t finish the rest. It’s the kind that would make your teeth hurt, and I’m a huge dessert person. The experience overall was great, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. It’s the over-salting and sickly sweet food that really confused us, not sure if we needed a smokers palate to enjoy the food.

Amazing place. Kelly our server was great! Great place for a date, celebrating important events. Indoor and outdoor areas are great! Seafood nachos, lobster bisque, clam chowder, filet oscar, filet Delmar, and sea bass were melt in your mouth.

Absolutely disappointed in this place. My wife and I went here as we had heard great reviews. Firstly, the prices are not reasonable whatsoever for the quality of food that you get. My wife ordered the blackened salmon, which was “okay” — and it was $39.00. Nothing to rave about, unfortunately. You can find far higher quality seafood dishes/dining options at high end restaurants for a lower cost. I ordered the red snapper ($49) and had to send it back as it was tough and rubbery. I would have needed a steak knife to cut it. They sent out a replacement and it was also very tough, but this time it was cold and pink in the center, which is a telltale sign that it was a frozen fillet. The rice on each of our dishes also tasted starchy and store-bought. Their “award winning” soups resembled any generic soup you would find at a neighborhood bar. They did comp me the price of my dish and offered complimentary soup. Our waitress was very understanding, but unfortunately our evening was soured by the back-to-back inedible dishes. Even after they covered the cost of my dish and two beers, our bill still came to $85 with my wife’s dish, two glasses of wine, and two cups of soup. They claim to be “fine dining”, but that is a far cry from the reality of what they provide. Highway robbery.

We went here for our anniversary. It was very nice and the people were very nice. We did their restaurant week menu. We had the Hot Crab and Artichoke dip to start. It was great. The slices almond was gave it a nice crunch. Next I had the Clam Chowder. It was ok. A couple chewy bites. Clam Chowder on a whole is something I find just OK.... So don't read to much into that. Next was the Blackened Salmon with a Basil pesto sauce. It was cooked well but I didn't care for it. I feel like the basil pesto sauce just didn't go well with the blackened salmon. I feel like it took away from the salmon. However it was all cooked well. My partner got the Filet of Strip au Poivre. That was great. So flavorful! I will come back for that!

Made Easter brunch reservations for a party of three. Our server, Lexi, was super friendly and attentive. We had a table in the middle of the floor, with a decent view of the water. The brunch food was delicious, I had the lobster and bacon omelette. Lexi kept the drinks topped up and really made the experience nice. I only give four stars because the manager on duty seemed to not want our business, she made rounds to every table but mine. With us being first time diners, it just soured things. I certainly didn’t appreciate being passed over, it didn’t feel welcoming at all.

Great place, great service, great food. Went there for brunch and had the Mary's Overboard. It is a meal in itself. The drinks were great also! Definitely will be back!

Great atmosphere. Great Steak and Seafood selections. Staff was friendly. Made an exception to sing Happy Birthday song to my Sister. Enjoyed the wine selections and cocktails. It's been several years since we have been here. Did not disappoint.

We had heard about a Monday burger special. It was not on the menu so I asked about it. Server said yes there was a special but it was in another book. We were not offered to see it. We each ordered the special bacon cheeseburger. Disappointed in the amount of bacon. My husband had a 3 inch piece of bacon. Fries were good.

Was treated to dinner here on a reip to visit family. Had the KC Strip steak and seafood nachos. My dad had lobster and my brother also had the steak. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. We chose to eat outside next to the water which made for a great atmosphere at sunset. The facilt is well appointed and prices were on par with similar upper end establishments. Bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of parking when we arrived. Keep in kind that it can get tight though. We were lucky to have a stealth bomber fly by and a full moon. Just a great experience overall.

The weather was mild for July, so we were able to sit by the water. It's very clean, the service is professional, and the food never disappoints.

What a great place to go for a sunset dinner overlooking Lake Winnebago. Our seafood scampi and salmon Oscar were delicious, the service was extremely attentive and we also enjoyed the talented instrumentalist/crooner who added to the ambience.

Haven't been here since it was Marina Grog and Galley. The food is so much better with the new owners! Had the crab and artichoke dip, burrata caprese salad and lobster risotto, OMG!! Can't wait to go back and probably have the same things. That's how good it was!! Great outdoor area on the lake too!

1000 out of 10!!! Everything was top tier; from the service to the food & not to mention the AMAZING VIEWS!!! Thee Service: Kealyn is absolutely THEE BEST! This was our first time and I was unsure of what to get, her recommendation (prime filet Oscar) was nothing short of amazing !!! She made our first visit very welcoming and very down to earth! Thee Food: This was a birthday dinner reservation but Marina 27 is definitely going in my top 5 places to eat at around KC! It’s a little drive but the food is to die for! The Prime filet Oscar is BOMBBBBB !!!!! *chefs kiss* Thee Views: To die for! The patio has a great view of the lake! The ambience is to die for, if you’re from KC and need a little peaceful getaway from the city I highly recommend Marina 27!!!! 💙💙💙

The views from the restaurant are really nice. Overlooking Lake Lotowana. The food is great. The lobster ravioli was delicious. They have the best escargot. Get the escargot. You will not be sorry!

Took my wife here for Sunday Brunch and I have to say it was as expected, that country club feel. The food was good we had Wedge Salad excellent dose not need the red peppers for color because the flavor adds nothing. Lobster Roll good but misleading I was expecting a traditional lobster roll not a chopped lobster salad My wife had a Mamosa she enjoyed it My bloody marry was good jest need more stuff like pickled okra or jalapeño if you are going to add shrimp to it poach the shrimp In a crawfish boil for the flavor those shrimp was bland. The entree we had the Lobster Benedict Will never order it again the Hollandaise was very plain no flavor. I will go back for dinner Our server was very attentive We had a great time

Great food and view. I wish they had draft beer but I settled on a Caymus and it was nice. The wine glasses were very cool too. My wife loved the Parmesan encrusted grouper and the side of mashed potatoes.

Marina 27 was the object of my most recent girls night. Worth every pretty penny. I recommened making reservations (especially on the patio) because they are in high demand. My favorite dish was the Crab and Artichoke dip - it was to die for! Amazing aoili for the Fish and Chips. Great cocktails, but my favorite was the strawberry daiquiri - made with fresh strawberries and no artifical taste. I will 100% be back.

What a gem of a find! We have been looking for a lakeside restaurant open to the public, this place was so lovely. We went during their happy hour from which was 3-6 on Friday and Sunday and M-th 4-6. No happy hour on Saturday. Beautiful Lakeview views Indoors & outdoor patio. Food was good as was the service and cocktails.
