What an absolute disappointment. Not only was it the most expensive burrito I've ever gotten from Pancho's, but also the smallest. They combined inflation and shrinkflation all at once. No options for sauces any more. You get red (hot) and green (mild). They do still have the Pancho's sauce and hot avacado sauce, but you have to buy them in 8 ounce containers for $3 each. Just drive down to California Taco shop instead. They have the exact same menu as Pancho's, same prices, but the portions are much larger. They also still have a sauce bar. Avoid Pancho's unless you must have it in the middle of the night. I won't be back unless they bring back the sauce bar, and go back to the potion sizes Pancho's was always known for.

We drove 4 hours to get some Poncho's. Growing up in San Diego and now living in Missouri, we can't find good Mexican food except Ponchos!!

I have zero clue what they use to keep their food "warm" but whatever it is they should submit a patent on it and then license it out to companies who make insulation, clothing and shelter... The food is inconsiderately hot... We're not talking oh it's a little spicy. That's good hot. This is burn your fingers, thumbs, lips, tongue and internal organs hot. It's insane -- and it never cools down. Ever. I literally stuck my burrito outside the window and drove around with it trying to get it to cool off just so I could tolerate it long enough to eat it. Then, when I finally took a bite my shredded chicken burrito that I ordered wasn't a shredded chicken burrito at all... It's was large chunks of boiled chicken... They used to have shredded chicken at the other location -- I dunno what happened but they should bring it back. In any event, I didn't finish the burrito and I was pretty underwhelmed. My wife, however, liked her taco... So it's whatever. I know I'm not the only one who thinks the food here is abnormally and inconsiderately hot.

We have loved these burritos for years. Still fantastic. 1 burrito is 2 meals for me. Best of all the customer service is fantastic - super kind. Last night we ordered the carne asada, and tamales. It was my first time having the tamales - which were also good. The Tomales do have cheese, sour cream and lettuce on them. I usually eat tamales without extra stuff on them but this was good. The food is not fancy, and it's different from the Hispanic food around. We love the giant burritos stuffed with meat. Personally I love that different restaurants serve different flavors and show uniqueness in their food.

Pancho's is a great place to fill your belly with good food and nice size portions. The burritos are huge and they don't skimp on meat. Stop in and give them a try, definitely recommend!

We really like this place and are glad they have found a new location. Try the off menu Queso Birria tacos. Without a doubt, the best tacos I've ever had.

We loved the food and the location. They have so much to choose from! After you make your decision on food comes the hard decision of which salsas you will try. The portions are massive, so come hungry. I think they could shrink the portions and the cost and do better, but its an amazing value as it is. The only issue we had is that the menu isn't very clear and the staff wasn't able to answer basic questions. Although we all had combo meals, we had issues getting drinks and knowing how and where we got our food.

We ordered the California burrito and a carnitas chimichanga and both were so good! The green sauce that came on the side with the burrito had a nice light heat and the red sauce on the side was spicy and very tasty. I was extremely impressed with the overall quality considering it was a quick drive-thru service! And the girl working the drive-thru was fast and very kind. We will be coming back for those quesabirria tacos next!

The chicken chimichanga was HUGE and full of chicken. The chips and salsa were expensive ($4.20) and I got a small packet of salsa for an entire takeout box of chips. I thought that was a bit pricey for not being able to dip my chips. But the food is good.

It was a bit dry. More tortilla than fillings but I always get the steak breakfast burrito with the guacamole salsa. So good. Also, If you use cash they give a discount!

Loved the artwork in this casual restaurant. Take-out or dine-in. Kid-friendly food and environment with generous portions. The food was surprisingly good even if the presentation is less so... We'll be back.

I just ordered 29 burritos for my work. We dropped off our order 2 days ago. I called them when I was on my way. They did an excellent job of marking the different burritos. Of course everyone thought the burritos were great! I've ordered a lot of burritos before for work, and I'll do it again. Love this place!

Another great dine in experience at Pancho's! We love that they are open late and it is nice that we can order in advance for pickup/dine-in through services like UE without any extra fees. This is one of our goto dine in places and we like the casual atmosphere. Great food and generous servings and it is nice how we can easily top-up our drinks on the drink machine. I am glad we have them nearby. We will most definitely be visiting again soon!

Everything was good while placing my order at the drive-thru speaker. However, when i got to the drive-thur window, the first thing the guy said was "thiry", not "hello sir, your total is $30", or anything like that, just simply "thirty". When i asked him what he was talking about, he repeated "thirty". I asked him if he was trying to say thirty dollars, and he said "yes". I told him, before i pay, i would like to access my rewards so i can get points for my purchase. He responded with one word, "cow". I said "what", and he said "cow" again! I asked if there was someone else in the building who speaks better English, and he said no. I asked if he could call the manager on the phone, he said the manager does not have a phone. So i left, without spending any money there.

The food is so good. We had no problems, except maybe a bit of a long wait, but the food was simply too good for it to matter. Highly recommend any Panchos but we really like this one. Try the hot cheeto burrito, you won't regret it!

just kinda bummed. i asked them to put onions in my cheese enchilada, they charged me for onions, then my enchilada didn't have onions AND it wasn't hot. the cheese inside wasn't even melted, it was just loose, room temp shredded cheese

Got the Ham breakfast burrito for $9+ and it has literally no seasoning, maybe like a dash of salt. Bland. Even a spoon full of pico spread over it would have been except-able. Like no onion or cilantro, the sauce on the side was bland too. Super unimpressive

Good food, not great. Better than all the Mexican in the Northland. Feels and tastes like a normal restaurant but the convenience of a drive through. Recommend if you are in the area but nothing to write home about.

So I'm really annoyed with this location. I've been going to Panchos on Main since I was a kid. I assumed this location would be the same as Main but absolutely not. I ordered 3 rolled tacos and they were definitely from the previous day. Clearly they had been sittin out for hours because the tortilla that was supposed to be crispy was not at all. Everything was cold and the beef inside looked ashy, literally. No way that food was cooked today. And I went at 12pm peak lunch hours. I also ordered a tamale that was literally crumbs and to top it off it had a HAIR in it! A big long curly hair. When I went back, they told me it was corn hair smh. I showed them my dried up cold food and basically told me it is what it is. Im not even trippin on the 20 dollars plus 4% card fee. I was really craving some Panchos because it always hits on Main. I will never go back to this Panchos. They do not care about what they serve the customers.

Ordered california burrito on door dash, asked them to put no cheese and pico on it. They did it and it was seriously the best burrito ive ever had in my life. It was amazing for take out. Probably even better when you eat there. 10 out of 10 i devoured the burrito!!

We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. Everything was delicious and very filling. The staff members were polite and seemed to work very well as a team. The kitchen ran smoothly while we were there.

Don’t waste your money!! First check your bank account. I was charged more on my card than my receipt. I called to ask what I needed to do to rectify and was hung up on 4 times and then no one decides to answer. Terrible customer service. One of the times I was over talked and she yelled at me, “I’m busy” and she just sat the phone down and never came back. My rolled tacos were not charged at the price on the drive thru menu either. They were not great in taste either. Meat was chewy and shells seemed to be sitting too long before they got to me. They weren’t crispy. Rice tastes good but was dry and needed salsa. I’m glad I had some at home because I didn’t receive any and pulled off before I could ask. The tamale was dark and masa was hard although flavor was decent. This was my first visit to this location and won’t be going back except to request a refund since they won’t answer the phone. I wish I had read reviews for this location because other locations I’ve had way better experiences.

I asked for no onions instead I got no lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro ect.. I even speak fluent Spanish and told the dude in English and also in Spanish. I’ve spoken Spanish my whole life , especially since I’m from Los Angeles. I also order a cheese dip instead I got a extremely spicy cheese dip that looked like it had human waste. Everything over priced and sloppy made. Never again. These NEW OWNERS are HORRIBLE!!!!!! Don’t waste your time or money!!!!!

The ponchos in Independence was always delicious. It said closed down so we went to Blue Springs. We got a burrito, chips with quest and guac and chips and salsa and a side of rice and beans and it was almost $35. I asked for the guac on the side 3 times and when we got home to Lee's Summit the guac was on the now soggy chips and it was shredded cheese also on the chips ,not queso. The steak and chorizo burrito was extremely dry and not very flavorful for $16. The salsa was good I can say.

The Ponchos that was on 40 highway…. I loved it. I loved the shrimp burrito( it was shrimp and because it was super spicy!) it would made anyone’s nose run and clear the sinuses. The one I had tonight. No spice what so ever ….. very disappointed.

Bought tamale dinner to take to work, they were dark brown dried out and hard, looked liked tamales cooked a couple days ago and left in the stay warm oven, so had to go without dinner, also the portions were small, did not eat it put it in the trash, even the plain bag salsa was questionable looking !! You then charged me 4% extra because I paid by card and not cash, on receipt you called the extra 4% an inventory issue, Lol ya okay. Expensive at $14.88 with no drink wish I could give this review a minus -5 star it sure earned it, what a horrible experience never ever again !!!!!!!

I've lived in Blue springs for a year and never heard of it. Seems kind of like an underground place. It has the fast food convenience with restaurant taste. I was skeptical but I'm definitely going to go there again. The chips are fresh the queso is fresh you may wait a little while in line to get your food but it's cuz they make it as you order. The picture is a number 6.

The food is great, but the clown at the register today April 27, 2022 at 12:30 pm has NO idea what he’s doing. Carne asada burrito does not come with potatoes and cheese. Learn to listen what the customer wants.
