Service was amazing from the start! She was very attentive and very busy! We did have to wait for our food but it didn't even matter she kept us occupied. I did not get our servers name but she was nice good job!

I just had some of the best biscuits and gravy that I've ever had! And the coffee was good too. The wait staff is fast, friendly, and attentive. It's a very clean place with a warm and inviting atmosphere. (and I never ran out of coffee either!)

I'd recommend this place for a great breakfast! Huge three egg omelettes, awesomely filling breakfast burritos, and if you like grits, they serve them up perfectly! Plenty of room for dining alone in peace, or for parties of many. They are super friendly there, and they fought HARD through the pandemic stuff. They have my business and my tummy! Support local restaurants like Rae's!

Our first time here today. Definitely won't be our last. Superior service from our friendly waitress who anticipated anything we would need and then some. Food was hot and delicious! The restaurant is darling and the menu has something for everyone. We felt right at home. Perfect place for a home cooked meal. Try them out. You'll be glad you did!

The food was bland and over priced. I ordered the country fried steak because there's a big sign that said Friday special on country fried steak but no price I asked the waitress what the price was and she said rudely 14.75 and walked away I was confused because the menu said 14.95 and I went to ask another waitress because I wasn't sure if that was the special or the waitress messed up being rude and rushing so she heard me ask the other waitress said what's the problem I told her I saw the sign and thought there was a special her response was that I was rude and it's a mom and pop shop. I was just curious because when you see special on a big sign you expect a little more than a 20 cent discount.

Big portions. Yummy food. Told them it was our first time and they gave us two cinnamon rolls for free.

If you are looking for some down home breakfast, this is your place. Delicious waffles, pancakes, omelets and more. We ate here on our way through KC and highly recommend it to anyone traveling through. Plenty of locals here and it definitely has a family vibe inside.

First visit today and it was awesome! Very comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, really enjoyed it! The food was delicious as well and the portion sizes were perfect!

Great feel. Service was very good. Not only did our waitress make sure we were takin care of but the others helped as well. Food was big and delicious.

When we walked into the front door we were greeted buy a man yelling hello out of the kitchen. Not in a scary or mean way, but as a happy to see you, welcome to my home type of hello. The small but open dining room is well lit and attractive with plans to further it's quaint look in the near future. Then comes the best part, the food... The cinnamon rolls, even if you're not a cinnamon roll type of person, are absolutely amazing. The biscuits and gravy, well let's just say the gravy can stand on it's own with amazing taste. The price of everything seems a little expensive, but not for the amount and quality of the food. The coffee is also really good stuff, but I am a coffee flavored coffee kind of guy. The staff seem very upbeat and happy to be at work. They help bring the environment full circle and make you feel welcome and comfortable. Flood this place with business, they are simply to amazing to let fail.

This place is soooo cozy! The staff are super kind and attentive. I don't think my coffee or tea was ever empty. And if it was it was because I said no to the refill! The seats are comfortable and you have the news or a game to watch at an easy to look distance. The food is pretty good :)) I've only had simple bacon and eggs and to be honest I wasn't too crazy about the bacon. Kind of tasted like the stove. Other than that my boyfriend enjoyed his chicken and waffles. When I tried his food, it was delicious!!

Very friendly service the chef served us personally fresh baked mushrooms that were absolutely delicious the chicken sandwich was super very yummy fresh food on the owner showed me directions to the place I needed to find the on the Google Maps next very lovely Decor decorated for Christmas and central location right there on 7 highway just really fantastic Cafe

First-time patrons this morning, and we were very satisfied with everything. Our Friendly server, Delores was quick to answer questions and take care of us. Started with their yummy coffee (Farmer Brothers) shared a slice of coconut cream pie (got into it before i thought to take a pic) it was tasty! Also had their biscuits and gravy (peppery, nice flavor on the gravy) country fried steak (good breading crispy and seasoned well) with eggs, breakfast potatoes, and bacon on the side. All of it was delicious and served hot. I look forward to revisiting and trying the other pies and menu items. (Update) We've visited several more times since this post. Rae's Cafe has become a tradition for us. I met "Miss Philly" the nice woman that makes the delicious pies. The goal is to try all of her pies- so far we've had coconut cream (twice), chocolate, strawberry and peanut butter cheesecake.

Service is always great!! Food has been great the 2 times we have eaten here! U definitely get ur money's worth here!!!!!

Food was nothing special but the service is even worse. Skip this place unless you want to deal with rude and sensitive employees like Kelly that can't handle the basic concept of customer service.

Previously our experience has been positive, today was the complete opposite! Everyone's meal was very bland and there was salt mixed with the pepper which made my eggs inedible. The waitress did not question why there were mostly full plates left and no boxes requested when we asked for our check. When I wanted to discuss my issues with our experience and pay the bill our waitress was no where to be found!

Fixed just like mom would make it. Great service, hot food, delicious cinnamon rolls. We really enjoy eating breakfast here.
