I have eaten BBQ all over America I grew up eating Kansas City BBQ and nothing else compares. Today I ventured in Jazzy B's Dinner and WOW!! I had the absolute best Burnt ends that i have ever tasted!! These burnt ends could melt in your mouth and truly stole the show! However their fried mushrooms would well be worth a 2500 miles road trip as well. If you have not eaten here you are missing out my friend! I strongly Recommend it! Amazing Staff! Amazing Food! Amazing Period! a million pictures will never do justice to the experience.

Great spot for a unique meal. Many of their items are a twist on a classic. The Reuben rolls were amazing. I was very full when I got there but it didn't stop me from eating. They are well known for their jazzy fries that Comes with a special sauce. They do sell the sauce in store and I picked one up for myself. I heard they are no longer selling ribs but if you can, catch them on a day they sell their chicken wings. These are massive and the smoke permeates it so well. They are located in Lee summit with a medium sized private parking lot. Makes it easy to get to.

I honestly can't praise the experience I just had here enough. I'm sitting in the parking lot charging my phone (cause it was dead) because I HAD to recommend this place. I had a Briskit sandwich, and shared my girlfriends corn and baked beans. We barely talked the whole meal because we were too engrossed in how good the food sitting in front of us was. Every single bite knocked our socks off. I hate baked beans but I could drink the ones here. The corn wasn't just buttery but covered in a garlic sauce that absolutely stunned me. The fries were covered in bbq seasoning, and I've never considered putting brown sugar on my fries before this moment. And the Briskit was legitimately the best, most tender cut of meat I've ever tasted. Eat here. Just do it. I'm traveling and we happened upon this owner operated little place and I am legitimately sad that I'm not going to be through here again anytime soon. Because I already want to eat there tomorrow.

10/28/23 I found this place on maps to find a new BBQ business and they have a lot of good reviews so here I am. Stopped in for lunch and I'd have to say my review. Food. I got 3 meat 3 sides. Burnt ends, pulled pork, sausage. For the meats was dam good. Burnt ends was so soft and tender yet had the burn crust was amazing! I would say... Best iv ever had? Pulled pork was a good also. However the sausage wasn't my favorite. It almost tastes like maybe beer boiled? But it wasn't as soft as I like it. Maybe a little dry? I can't explain but wasn't terrible. Sides. I got 3. BBQ beans, fries and cheesy corn. Fries was absolutely amazing! Had a great amount of seasoning yet, had cinnamon? But with the BBQ sauce was great flavor? They was cooked perfectly, great fries. Cheesy corn wasn't for me. BBQ beans... Sorry to say, it reminded me of plain chilli? I swear it was chili beens.. They still have more meats and sides. I'm going back for sure to try the rest. Drinks.. They have a full bar and cherry coke! I'm about the cherry coke out of the fountain! Also, they have sweet tea. Many places don't. Cons.. For a BBQ restaurant, they don't have Mac and cheese. But that's ok. It was the first cold day in KCMO, I thought it was a bit cold in there.

Everyone says this place is a hidden gem. I would agree. Lots of talk about BBQ in the KC metro but you never hear about Jazzy B's. We had the best burt ends ever here. They were soft and crusted with great flavor. I love fries and theirs are perfectly cooked, bit crispy but soft on the inside. The cinnamon seasoning makes them tasty, perfection when dipped in the blue berry curry sauce. My husband didn't care for the beans but I couldn't tell you because ewww beans. The garlic cheesy corn was ok. The sausage tasted unlike any sausage I've tried before. I thought they made it theirselves but nah just cooked right. The pulled pork was top notch. Kudos to them for making their own sauce and it being yum. They should really sell that in stores. We will be back to try more. We should have tried the Jamaican Cole slaw and the chicken but have to save something to make us go back because we aren't in Lee's Summit often.

Kurt and I had a most excellent lunch last week. BBQ and Cajun options, and I look forward to exploring the Cajun next time I go. I did get the crab balls and they were delicious! The pesto aioli was perfect. I had the three meat platter, Kurt ordered by the pound The ribs were my favorite, burnt ends second. Fries are dusted with spicy and sweet and perfectly crispy. Beans had lots of meat in them, weren't as sweet as they looked they were going to be (thank goodness). I liked the environment and their upper area is great for large parties. Super amazing fantastic staff. I live that the owner features a wall of photos for sale by a local photographer.

You will not be disappointed! We always get sauce in the side for any and all BBQ. But they served it that way. Fries and tots are good and cripsy but the usual fair you can get anywhere. The burnt ends are fabulous and every one in my group loved the ribs. Pickles are so good! Brisket was a bit dry but hey that's was the sauce it for right? Over all Jazzy's is yummy and has a great atmosphere.

Jazzy B's has the BEST BBQ I have ever had. And I have had BBQ all over the USA. I photographed my friend's rib dinner which she said was amazing. The burnt ends and brisket were also represented at our table. A couple of others in our group had the crab balls. (So if you prefer seafood, Jazzy has you covered too.) I had the pulled pork, Jazzy fries (with delicious seasoning!), and mac and cheese. And, I had the BEST sweet tea of my life. I am very picky about iced tea and often order water to avoid old or taste-less tea. I was ready to take a GALLON of this tea home. If you are in the Kansas City area, drive on out to the suburb of Lee's Summit. Every bite of food, every sip of tea will make you SO GLAD you did!

Top marks across the board. The food is amazing. The people are incredible. The atmosphere is exactly what I wanted, with live music and everything. Burnt ends were delicious and perfect balance of delicious rendered fat and tender meat. The sausage, that was far better than thought it would be. But the star of the show was absolutely the wings. I've had a lot of smoked wings and these are by far the best of ever had. By. Far. Jazzy B's is absolutely worth the trip, and get the wings

Excellent little jazz and BBQ place in Lee’s Summit. Crab rolls are divine. Apple Jicama Slaw is a winner! Love the jazz ensemble.

I'm from the delta Mississippi River area and we are proud of our barbecue but I'll tell you what Brandon has some amazing food and his corn is like crack cocaine for Foodies. I chose this restaurant because of my jazz course I got out of the electronics Hospital because it was a jazzy place and I listened to Dave Brubeck timepieces all the way up there and I highly recommend this place it was poetry on my day off

First timers and we will be BACK! The food and the experience surpassed expectations. We’ve been to all KCs classic BBQ spots numerous times and my bar was high. Jazzy has a unique taste and style and WE LOVED IT! The jazz was the cherry on top. We’re coming back.

Absolutely excellent service. Food was on point! We were there around 8 pm and the owner was taking orders, walking around checking on customers and just an all around great guy! 10 out of 10 recommended and will be coming back! Will also use for my work luncheons!

My family of five was on our way back from a soccer tournament in Kansas. Found this hidden gem. I absolutely love a hometown business. The wait staff was amazing. A supper nice lady noticed we were not sure about protocol. She came and got us menus so we could look before we got up there, too, order. Had good choices on the menu. They were out of a few things ( it is Mother's Day and 6 pm). So, I'm totally not mad at them. We will definitely be back in to try the items we missed out on today. I absolutely loved my meal. I got the three meat pulled pork, burnt end x2, bean, jazzy fries. These were so good, and the chessey garlic corn. Oldest got pulled pork and coleslaw cleaned his plate my youngest got the same but with side salad also cleaned her plate, my middle kiddo did the BBQ nachos she also cleaned her plate, husband got the three meat sausage, wings, pulled pork, coleslaw, beans. Everyone left with full food souls. Love the atmosphere family owned. Definitely enjoyed the outdoor setting. Weather was perfect today. So, thank you for adding a blessing of good food.

Oh how I love this place. Finally a BBQ joint that isn't huffing its own smoke. As a KC native we are picky about our BBQ and this joint hits the spot. The food is painstakingly prepared by a small tight knit crew which leads to a level of consistency that is so comforting. If you have a favorite dish, it will be that good every time you come. Even their fries are legit (try the jazzy sauce)

Thought I would support a small business and I’m glad I did. When shops are able to fully open up again, I will definitely dine in. Service is great and staff is friendly. Food was good but had to travel back to the house 20 min so the fries didn’t stand up to the ride very well ( no fault of the restaurant fries never last in a closed container). I still ate them at 60% of their potential 🙂

I used to come here fairly regularly. Was always overpriced, but I was fine with that because it had a very unique flavor. Hadn't been there in 10 months, until I craved it one day. So I went there..... it was gone, the pictures you see are not that place anymore. So I called and asked " where they moved to?" They moved into arcade alley, a bar in lees summit. So I go there. Not only could ya not order from the kitchen, ya had to scan your phone on a barcode and wait.... no idea why they moved, but it was a bad decision...a once unique place turned itself into a VERY LACLUSTER eatery. The food all of a sudden sucked, and so did the bar. Not sure how they can call themselves an arcade.....

I've been to STL, KC, and everywhere in between in MO. Not only was the food fantastic, but the people and staff in there were second to none!! Most places try to sell you on a main item and take a half approach on sides......well not here!!! Not only were all the smoked meats incredible ( I got burnt ends, brisket, ribs, and wings), but every side I got was also AMAZING ( I got potato salad, Mac, beans, armadillo eggs, apple slaw, AND THE CORN!!!). I love this place! Look at any other review I have posted and tell me where where I posted 2 paragraphs! This place is LEGIT! I mean, even down to a great bun and even the pickles......not one corner was cut! Again, I love this place and will eat here EVERY time I'm in the area! Thanks for the fantastic food and unforgettable company!!
