Omg! The Italian wedding soup is the VERY BEST I have ever tasted. Friendly, clean atmosphere, superb service, amazing staff, and the most wonderful price point. A must see and a must go place to warm your heart!

A charming brunch and lunch spot and a staple of the Kansas City breakfast culture. It's a culture-eat strategy for breakfast! The dining area is smaller than other First Watch's, so you'll be waiting for a table, but the food is worth it. The Egg Benedict BLT was an interesting concoction! I'd try it again, but the Million Dollar Bacon and Elevated Egg Sandwich is where it's at! It's tough to beat family-style dining with quality service!

I have reviewed another First Watch location. My opinion is any First Watch is going to serve you quality food with the most amazing staff. The young woman today was super sweet, and quick to bring that first pot of coffee! I can't stress enough how thrilled I am to have my own pot! First Watch. Stop in and enjoy.

Very cute little diner. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. Our waitress, Shelby, was very professional and such a sweetheart. The watermelon wake up is different. It's a sweet tart drink but very good and refreshing. I got the breakfast carnitas tostadas and o.m.g it was delicious! My boyfriend got the lone star hash I believe it was called and everything was such a great mix and the French toast was perfect! Definitely recommend this place and I hope to be back on future visits.

Nothing to complain about at all. I am normally a creamer and sugar in my coffee kind of girl; here I drink it black no sugar. So yummy. The food always delicious. Service is always on top of their game..

Conveniently located just off Hwy 40, tasty food that's reasonably priced. We had the French Toast, which came with compote and warm syrup. Not overly sweet. It was delicious! We also had the Ham and Gruyere cheese melt. It came with a unique salad, which included turkey and avocado. Another tasty delight. The service was professional and friendly. Lots of healthy or semi-healthy options. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy place, love the ambiance. Service was great, everyone very friendly. We had to try the Millionaires Bacon, it was tasty! Worth $5 for 4 pieces? Debatable. Glad we tried it though. My hubby got the Farmhouse Skillet Hash, I tried some- delicious! Great seasoned potatoes. I got the Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast off their Fall menu, the pancake was great, everything I expected! The chicken sausage that comes with was pretty bland, I'd recommend replacing it with something else. Overall great experience, we will return!

Seating was quick and easy for a small party of 2. The server was kind and explained how many tables were ahead of us and made sure we still had basic refreshments while we waited. After ordering, food arrived promptly without errors and was hot plus tasty! Only wish would've been to have slightly stronger drinks that contain liquor. When ordering the cinnamon toast crunch drink there was very little taste of cinnamon and very strong taste of just milk. Overall it was an enjoyable visit, and I would recommend it to any other persons or parties.

Our favorite breakfast spot in the area. Service is always amazing, the online waiting system works great, and the food is just incredible. The specials always steal the show and the coffee is delicious!

They were busy, and we had to wait 20 min to be seated. Everything went smoothly. We only spent an hour from the time we got there until the time we left. The food was good and filling. The staff was efficient and friendly. The price was reasonable for all you got. We will definitely be back.

Great place to eat a semi-healthy breakfast or lunch. The food is delicious and the service is great. Be prepared to wait for a table and possibly a long time for your food. If you are in a hurry, find another place to eat. If you are patient and prepared to wait, the food and service is worth it.

The food was good. This is big for me. The coffee was good and remained hot. Our server was very polite and professional. They were busy, but it was worth the wait. Today's visit was just the same. It was busy, but we received our food quickly. Again, the coffee was nice and hot and remained that way. The employees were clean, which is hige for me. The restaurant and parking lot were clean. It is usually a wait, so reserve your seat online. I love going here with friends. Overall, this is a great place to grab breakfast.

Sooo, I meant to take a picture of my food when it arrived at the table. I tasted it first and well, the picture talls the story. My first time here. It was very good!

This place stays pretty busy most of the time. I always reserve a table ahead of time. There is always parking available closeby though. Many tables are very close to each other and it can be a little noisy. The full booths are huge and provide more comfort and noise reduction. The food is excellent, and most meal side options can be modified, usually with no extra charge. The Tri-Athlete regular meal includes multi-grain toast and fresh fruit. However, the fresh fruit side is very tiny. (510 calories) The picture included here is the Tri-Athlete omelet with grits and English muffin substituted.

3/26 - Wonderful, recovery from last time. Food was back to a 'wonderful' normal spice and seasoning. Gluten was marked a 'allergy'. Great service staff. 3/39 The family has been coming to this location for some time. This Sunday was way below the standard we are used to. The omelets were lacking flavor, the potatoes are normally so favorable were bland clearly missing all the spices, the portions were small. Our items which are normally covered with gravy were only 50% covered. The staff that waited on us was excellent. Several of them stopped by for a short chat. This company does an excellent job of taking care of customers with gluten allergies such as Celiac disease.

Quick delicious bite to eat, love the aesthetic and the variety of stuff they have to eat. That cinnamon crunch drink is to die for. The place itself is a little claustrophobic, but it's all good. Food is worth bumping elbows.

The only reason this is not getting five stars is because I have been in here before, and this time the food was not up to what it usually is. But that is not why I am writing this review. I was a little disappointed in my food, and all of a sudden a regular walks into a restaurant. You can tell it’s a regular by the way these two girls treated him! It was his birthday, and they wished him a happy birthday. They said they had cards for him and this is just a man that comes in to eat. Nothing special, but you would’ve thought this man was someone so important today by the way they treated him. The two girls were Adriana and Timberlie. They were so sweet and patient and loving towards us guest! We should all strive to treat everyone the way These two girls treated this regular. It was a very sweet and heartwarming thing to watch! These two girls completely turned my experience around! And I will definitely be back here!

With all these good reviews I was expecting something pretty good. The morning meditation drink was great. the brisket benedict was literally drenched in different sauces. Did not finish the meal or take it home.

Loved it! My husband and I had the farmhouse hash & the chicicanga with coffee and mimosa. The food was hot and fresh and our waitress Morgan was friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a wait to get seated but it was so worth it 👌

Me, my Mom and Daughters had brunch there. The food is always good. Healthy. Reasonable prices. Overall a great time spent with Family. I've never been to the location in Independence. It was busy.

Their cups stink like dirty dog. If you're using a dishwasher all you have to do is put in a giant bowl of vinegar and run the cycle to get rid of that smell FYI. If that's not the case then you need to find a new drying method. I can't enjoy my meal if I do not have something nice and cold to wash it down with and before you ask if I requested another cup I did and it smelled just the same. Pretty slow as well for some avocado toast and a couple of eggs to come out, I waited like 30 min after ordering.

It was kind of busy and our food took longer than usual. And it was fine I didn't mind waiting. But what I did mind was that our waitress was not very attentive. She didn't check on us not one time while we waited on our food. Never asked us if we needed anything or to apologize for the long wait and to reassure us that I food would be come soon. Her customer service skills could use some improvement. One of the dishes came with eggs she didn't ask how would we like them cooked so when the food came out it was sent back because the eggs were runny. Never have ordered that dish before so we didn't know that it comes like that. But if asked she would have known how we wanted them prepared. That new Pineapple drink was amazing though.
