I gave Sabor’s a try and they have a great variety of Latin American food. (Don’t come expecting Mexican food) all their food is made in-house and the owners takes pride in their restaurant. It’s locally owned and The food and drinks are original recipes. Take a date or take a group, it’s a good change of pace and should be a must have when dining in downtown Lee’s Summit.

Family and I had a late lunch here on a Thursday afternoon. The person who helped us was amazing. Super attentive, checked back with us often, and was very polite and personable. Chips and salsa were really good. We had queso as an appetizer. The flavor was great. My wife and I both had the empanadas. They were delicious and much larger than I expected them to be. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back.

Very unique and delicious food, hand-made, fresh quality. Great service, very friendly. It’s a small place and the food is made fresh, so you may have to wait depending on the rush. One of the best places in all of KC.

Our server was really really nice but the food was just okay. The carnitas were better than the pastor and the rice was pretty basic. The cheese dip came with shredded cheese on top which made it kind of stringy and the chips were stale. Overall just okay.

Don't waste your time. Took my family to try something new. The waiter looked at us and told us that the table she was serving was her last table. She told us that her cook needed a break and to come back in 30 to 45 minutes. There was one table with customers in the entire restaurant... it was 2 pm. We went to Carmen's Cantina where we got great service! Go there instead.

Great place! We were greeted by Reggie one of the owners upon entry, he was super friendly and helpful and made our visit very enjoyable. The food is Latin not Mexican more Venezuelan, Costa Rican etc... very favorable but not at all hot spicy. Enjoyed the lunch and highly recommend

After being gone from KC for a couple years, I hadn't been to the new location. I've obviously been missing out! The stuffed plantains were so very good and the tostones ....mmmmmmm. Just go.

Service was great, prices were great, and food was good but not excellent flavor. I had the Honduran tamale, rice, beans, and chips/salsa.

Service was good, setup of the place was nice and clean... food was terrible... margaritas alcohol was terrible. Desert (I didn't eat but the people I came with did and they enjoyed it.) My rice was hard and cold... empanadas were very bland. My sons toquitos were burnt... thankfully my wife enjoyed her meal (chuleta ahumada) the food looked and smelled great... kinda.... but there was literally no taste (for my meal) plantains were pretty good Also my knife had dried food on it... too bad because the place is in a great area... looks nice.

They have a latin menu with dishes from Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica and Mexico. Good service and tasty food.

The service and the food both make this restaurant. Incredible food that stops you in your tracks and keeps you coming back. The service is second to none. I feel like I'm being catered too. The bar tender will make me drinks not on the menu based off what I'm feeling. Always smiles and jokes from the staff. They really make you feel at home and like family. I cant stress enough how Incredible this gem of a restaurant is.

Great place in downtown Lees Summit, friendly staff and owner very nice. Fast service, delicious food. And great options that aren't your typical Latin American fare. Venezuelan options, peruvian. The lomo saltado is pretty dang delicious and the pabellón is very good as well. Chips and salsa good, very mild salsa.

Absolutely amazing! My bf and I happened upon this quaint little place as we were looking for a place to eat dinner. The food is superb! The service is definitely local down home style. The server took the time to explain each dish and it's ethnicity. Would recommend everyone give it a try!

Too pricey for what you get. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Food was pretty normal, the $9 margaritas were small, too sweet and weak. They do offer another margarita, not pictured, that includes egg-white. The place is pretty small - some of the pictures on these reviews is apparently over their old place. Several tables lopsided/uneven. Also, their hours are posted wrong on google. We were in the area at 4 pm on Saturday, and they were open, Google says they would be closed.
