😠 As a first timer terrible experience. This is one of the only places that has suya so I decided to try it out. I attempted to call to place my order & ask some clarifying questions but no one answered so I went to order in person. However, upon arrival a lady began to try & sell me a buffet box for... Four hours for take out. We started ordering online at 430. Website didn’t work. So we called the order in by 530. They said an hour.. went at 630 and the order wasn’t ready. They said 30 minutes. At 730 they called and said they didn’t have all of the ingredients for the dishes and wouldn’t be able to make all the ordered plates. We’ve already paid; which by the way was more than the online prices. $150 for dinner. During that call they asked us when we were going to come pick up the food and said it should be done in 30 minutes. My husband waited at the restaurant until 9pm- closing time. At that point they said 45 more minutes for the fish dish if we wanted it. My husband said no. So minus a dish we still paid $150. They didn’t offer money back or anything. Maybe the food is excellent but the business skills are horrific. They stay open because they have no competition. If you know you can’t fulfill an order at least have the respect for the customer to tell them so it doesn’t ruin their night. And give them their money back for what wasn’t provided. UPDATE: They forgot the chicken order and the shrimp rice only has two tiny pieces of shrimp. So we basically just had beef.

This is one of the best restaurants I been too! The food is extremely delicious with a great aftertaste. The jollof rice with the goat meat was perfection! It’s pricey but well worth it!

This place ROCKS. Lively music. Great food, some of it spicy but not Hot. The food is Very tasty. The service is spot on, cleaning away things and asking politely to bus the table. Good selection of entrees and other foods. Decor is exciting to experience and converse about. The neighborhood is peaceful and inspiring safety even after 10pm. Man, safer than my neighborhood where I live. Many Thanks for a GREAT time. 7-2023.

I did have a great experience here. The people were friendly and the service made me feel comfortable. They have someone preforming music so that was pretty cool he preforms Thursday and Saturday nights. The wine we tried was really good. It took a really long time for us to get our food though I think there was only one or two people working. They brought one plate before the other so I was just watching them eat for 20 minutes which wasn’t ideal. Not vegetarian friendly at all I asked for my meal with no meat and there was still meat in it even after they said it was taking so long because they were making it without meat. I have 5 stars because of the atmosphere and comfort level!

First drink free, authentic West African Nigerian food!I traveled to west Africa one summer and will never forget the taste of true jollof rice! Most African spots cut corners to please their crowds that don’t care for much seasoning but this place stays true to their nature. If u have a taste for wonderful African food, you will be happy you came to this place! Beautiful ambience and down to earth staff

My husband ordered take out and he said Victor was so amazing and friendly. He had nothing but great things to say about the place. When we recieved the food I was impressed. Very clean, qualitu food. My favorites were the samosas, chicken with fried rice and plantains, and tripe kebab. Definitely recommend you go.

A couple of friends and I went for the buffet at lunch recently. Highlights included jollof rice, beef, and samosas. Those working were very sweet and helpful with explanations of everything offered. I believe it was about $30/person.

The food was good. Our server Chi was excellent! However the man that answered the phone was unprofessional and demanded we make a reservation to eat at the restaurant and when we arrived it was EMPTY. Then he demanded we place our orders over the phone rather than at the restaurant, but the food wasn't prepared until we arrived. Lastly, the prices online were not the same as in the restaurant. For three meals we surprisingly paid about $150. I do not think the food was worth this price and it was definitely lacking seasonings. So I will not return to this restaurant and will try other African restaurants and hope to have a much better experience.

Food was delicious 😋, service excellent and was delightful to be served by the owner. Very nice and friendly gentleman. Will definitely stop by anytime I am in town. I had the jollof rice with fish and my wife had white rice and catfish pepper soup.

Offers a complete West African menu. A full flavored presentation ready to challenge any other cuisine around. Great spot for a cozy time with a friends. Also, the owner can be identified by their brilliantly welcoming smile.

OMG! The food is delicious and well-prepared!!! Victor has Great customer service and was helpful in understanding what my selections were. My dishes were cooked to order, piping hot, just the right kind of spicy, the meat was tender and seasoned to perfection as was the spinach, rice, and the plantain. The foo foo was perfect and melts in your mouth.

The food there is good but the service, Oh my God it’s shamefully horrible. They literally did not honor an order I placed online because they wanted to charge more for the plate of food and the price on the online website was 5 dollars cheaper. You’d think they’d give you a call to let you know that they will not make this order but no. After driving half an hour to the place, they tell you they did not make the food because they don’t check the online orders from the website. They only check WhatsApp now. I’ve been there three times and three times, my order was messed up. First time they forgot my beef suya. Granted they gave it to me the next time I ordered but I kind of wanted it when I actually ordered it. Second time was just awful. Third time they did not prepare my order at all. This place is just a joke.

The food here was seriously amazing! My husband and I ordered carry out last night and this was my first time trying African food, the owner was so kind explaining the dish to me and made sure to show me my food before packing it up for carry out. You can tell they put so much care into their food, we will definitely be returning!

As a first timer terrible experience. This is one of the only places that has suya so I decided to try it out. I attempted to call to place my order & ask some clarifying questions but no one answered so I went to order in person. However, upon arrival a lady began to try & sell me a buffet box for $25 I told her exactly what I wanted but she continued to try & talk me into the buffet until she got annoyed with my questions. The other young lady steps in to assist only to have an even nastier attitude. I asked a question about the fish that she suggested but later told me she was out off & she proceeded to ask “have I not ever had Nigerian food” I responded of course I had but just hadn’t had this specific restaurant. Then she tells me to look on the website for specifics as if she couldn’t explain. 45 mins later I return to pick up my order, there was an elderly man that ordered spinach. When she rang him up it was $37 confused he asked for an explanation & told her that the other lady did not tell him the price and he was expecting to pay around $10 for spinach. I intervened & asked the lady to just prepare him a side of spinach she refused. So the man said that he wanted to cancel the order. Both ladies became very aggressive stating that he had to pay because they had already put it in a box for him. They even came from around the counter because he said he didn’t want it. The man was certainly in his late 70’s and truly did not understand. Not to mention my suya was over cooked and hard. Will not be returning.
