Very nice lake and amenities. The beach is gone, the waterslides are gone but plenty of trails and good fishing and camping

Great place to explore the outdoors

Great place to kayak. Lake Jacomo is the low horsepower lake of Jackson county. You will find pontoon boats, fishing boats and sailboats. No jet skis or high powered boats.

There are so many places to go in Lake Jacomo. Whether it's a picnic or hiking trails there is something for everyone. Seems like no meter the weather there are boats on the water which is fun to see. There's also tons of wildlife at Lake Jacomo if you're into bird watching or just want to see something wandering about.

We've been enjoying kayaking at Jacomo all summer. Still several places we haven't explored after going probably a dozen times. I have also enjoyed the mountain bike trails. Great park and lake.

Had fun in the rental boat. They charge for every little extra for sure. Beware there is no tying off on the sure. Cant go within 100 ft of the shore on johnboats.Fishing was hit and miss.

Outstanding lake for kayaking, sailing, or pontooning. Great spot for relaxing.

If you want a lake without any big waves from high powered boats and just want to enjoy a lake with peace, this is exactly it. This is the lake you want to be at if you just want a peace of mind. Plus, the Marina employees are extremely helpful and nice. I highly recommend coming here with family. Also the cleanest lake I've been to.

This is one of my favorite places in the metro to go and relax. There are trails nearby, so it's a top notch after hike spot. The geese are usually hanging out, but I like those dummies. I talk to them and they always leave. It's pretty! Check it out!

As a paddleboarder it was too windy, prefer Shawnee Mission even though much farther away
