UPDATE: this store relocated from Murray to Sandy, it is well stocked, spotlessly clean and has great deals still. Located next to Target at Southtowne Original review:Huge selection at this location! This location is so well stocked, clean and Thad a huge variety. The clearance area was overflowing with deals. You can always find something for the season or holiday here, as well as for your kitchen and the fragrance department always has great deals on cologne. I was looking at luggage but found better prices at Ross in the same plaza. This location is 2 floors there is stairs and an elevator. Checkout is speedy and they are friendly. I have never had a bad experience at this location and always leave happy

I just visited the new Sandy location off state street between Old Navy and Target (Use to be Barnes and Noble location). I was pleased with the amount of clothing inventory, found my favorite hair spray at a good price, and a cute Christmas decoration. I selected and tried on a lot of clothes and that’s where things went downhill. I was disgusted with how filthy the dressing room was. It ruined all the pants I tried on getting the hems filthy. I had to wash my feet when I got home. They had gotten black! I stopped in their restroom after my try-on session and found it to be more disgusting. The floor appeared as if it hadn’t been cleaned ever. Employees seem young and inexperienced. I can overlook that because the store is so new, but there’s no excuse for not cleaning the store. First impressions are everything and I will think twice about returning.

I went in and they had a nice selection but no employees tried to help me. I stood at the registers for almost five minutes while the older woman up there ignored me and just kept boxing up whatever it was she was boxing up. So I left what I was going to buy there and walked out instead. Gave me enough time to not want it anymore.

New Sandy location that took over Barnes & Noble by the Sandy Target. Huge store with a great children’s shoe selection. Only took 1 star off because of a few unprofessional employees. Didn’t catch names but around 8:30pm on Nov 27, there were a few dark haired men in the changing room lobby area just throwing profanity at each other and these weren’t guests, they were 100% employees. I saw some employees walk over to try and break up the situation but super unprofessional and they need to be fired. I wasn’t the only guests that was walking around and heard it all. Basically 2-3 employees bashing and swearing at each other. Everyone else I encountered was great, just not those in the changing room. Anyways I will go back because of their selection of children shoes & everything! Glad to finally see it open!

My first time visiting Marshall’s out of state and what can I say, an amazing experience. Had lots of good stuff to look at, very clean and very kind employees. Brian checked me out and he was very sweet, kind and answered all my questions I had! Definitely coming back! Thank you!!!

My wife and I are out trying to have a fun day, doing some shopping and whatnot. We like to look at clothing together, I like to give her encouragement and she likes to show off. Store employees threw quite a tantrum about us wanting to go in the fitting room together. I get it, mens and women’s fitting rooms, but I have never been denied helping my wife try on clothing. They let gay men at Victoria’s Secret hand clothing for the ladies to try on, but I can’t see my wife in a dress at Marshall’s. Lol, I’m 2023, too. As I was looking at some heels to bring my wife to try on, an employee made a snarky comment “are you looking for yourself” with a disgusted, confused look. So what if I was? Either way, let us shop, this isn’t Best Buy, we don’t need help or want to talk. I will have to say though, the cashier was quite friendly.

The store looks great from the outside, but was disappointed with the inside. The floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in weeks and the overall appearance of the store was disappointing.

Decent selection in various departments; prices are definitely a reason to keep going back. Only negative was the amount of stuff blocking aisles.
