One of worse places to take tourist from resort or hotel apparently shoping centre and rum tasting experience asking pay only cash . Shoping centre takes 2 min to shop we been drop of 2h . Highly not recommended ...waist time.

Good deals and a lot of souvenirs to buy. Most of the souvenirs are a lot better priced than the resorts you would stay and if you wanna avoid the haggling then stop by Taino Gifts Punta Cana

an authentic souvenir shop in the Dominican Republic. Friendly and friendly staff eager to present the history of each product. Decent prices and superior quality. the ideal place to buy cocoa, coffee, cigars and authentic Dominican rum. An added bonus is that you can try every product.

Good souvenirs shopping if you don’t want shop on resort or airport. Our resort in Cap Cana had a shuttle (maybe paid by Taino) it took us to the shop and picked up back up. They have sunglasses, to coffee, painting, clothing, liquor and fridge magnets. Prices better than resort- comparable to airport. Some of the shop at blue mall had better prices but that will mean a taxi ride back to resort.

The shop is pretty and the offerings of coffee, chocolate, rum samples is nice but I must say our resort's concierge offered this as a mall excursion. So that was an error on our part. I knew he was too vague when I tried to get more details. I didn't know if it was a two hour escape where I should wear my running shoes or wear a pretty sun dress because I'd be having a nice lunch and cocktail on the water. Turned out to be a five minute shop. So, perhaps something you should clarify with the people you are paying to push your business at the local resorts. Free shuttle cost us $30US in cab fair just to get back to the hotel at a reasonable time so as not to waste our whole afternoon in a shop that was lovely, don't get me wrong, but I feel the prices were inflated and I wasn't the only one walking in/walking out empty handed.

Edison was super helpful and helped us taste the tea, chocolate, mamajuana etc. There were a lot of little souvenirs and snacks at decent prices. Clean and had a bathroom!

Nice stuff, different MamaJuana as taste, price 2 or maybe 3 times more expensive than airport duty free Punta Cana, if I only knew before.

Your one stop shop for all suvnoirs. Everything was stacked beautifully, spacious and the staff guide when you first arrive. Some of the things were overpriced. I got beach towels, magnets, coffee, liquor and cigars. Loved the coffee and liquor local samples they gave me.

Good shopping for souvenirs. I really enjoyed the information on cocoa. And tastings. The coffee tasting was very nice. The information was great. Getting information on how to make the MAMAJUANA was awesome and tastings it was delicious .now I can make it at home! We didn't get a chance to do the rum tasting. No one asked us. Sadly. We would have liked to try it. I understand it was $25. A person to do it. The room it was in was very nice. Just not enough people to help you in this room. Overall I would highly recommend coming here.

Beautiful souvenirs and good tastings - we tried their chocolates, hot chocolate, coffee, rum, and mama Juana [their native alcoholic drink].

Bought jewelry and cosmetics from this store. The composition of all jewelry is reported without lying. Large selection of souvenirs. The service is excellent.

Our guide Felix was very nice. The Rum tasting in the end was awesome as well. In the beginning is a short rush through the store to buy chocolate and coffee. If you leave that out and focus in the rum tasting it is a cool trip to make.

Awesome customer service by Edison. He took us around the store gave us a couple of samples of coffee, chocolate, and gave us some cigars to try. Over all a good looking store and reasonably priced items.

Prices just for tourists. Lots of overpriced stuff. Air Port had better prices on alcohol. Chocolates were way to expensive.

All of the staff at the store was friendly and knowledgeable. Store was clean and well stocked. Participated in the rum tasting with Anthony, and he was a blast. Very awesome and always willing to pose for a picture holding some delicious Dominican Rum. Highly Recommend the rum tasting.

My wife and I came to Taino for the rum and cigar tasting. Felix lead us through the history and production process of Oliver rum and he was very knowledgeable. Next was the tasting which was expertly done. The pairing of food and cigars was eye opening and a fun journey. We are not regular cigar smokers but it was worth adding it to the experience. I highly recommend the experience.

We stopped off here on our journey back from a boat trip, decent amount of various items to look at/buy. No pressure sales which is always nice. Small coffee shop was a lovely little touch before heading out the exit.

Clean store but high pressure to purchase various items. Basically, a souvenir store. However, the cigar maker was quite impressive and even produced a small one specifically for me, only asking for a tip. Had to take a bus operated by them and while we thought we were being shuttled over there, we ended up stopping at least 5 times she at various hotels to load people up. A 3 hour ordeal with us spending just an hour at the gift shop and the rest in transit.

This is a wonderful gift shop to go to, and the people are equally as nice and friendly super helpful. But don't be surprised if you end up spending a couple hundred dollars. The samples are great.

In this shop you can buy all local products from Dominican Republic whatever you want. You can try chocolate, mamajuana, rum etc. and choose the best for you. Our guide was Javier, he told us about products so well and we wanted buy everything. He helped us when we needed and we could ask him anything. We can reccomend this place and when we come back to Dominican Republic we will definitely go there!!!!

We were picked up by Edison and his driver at the hotel. Edison was very friendly and courteous and gave us all information needed and a tasting of some specialties. He also helped to pick out the right cigars. The shop in general is a very nice shopping experience. You can nearly get everything you want on souvenirs, and also some are not the cheapest, they seem very good quality - especialy the chocolate and the rum.

All the staff were fantastic and super friendly. Especially Edison, loved meeting and talking to him about sports, baseball, etc. so thank you for him and everyone else at the shop. And the stock of clothes, jewelry, alcohol, cigars, etc was fantastic. I recommend everyone who has a chance to, to stop and give the shop a visit.

Edison, was very helpful and professional. He was very knowledgeable in the products. We came to buy local DR souvenirs and did not feel pressured to buy random stuff. Taino is a well setup Gift store with quality products. Highly recommend it.

We’re very happy! A wide variety of products accompanied by a fantastic tasting of these! A guide named Javier who explained everything in detail and helped us choose some very exclusive rums to our family!

Felix was an excellent guide through the Shop and extremely knowledgeable of the coffee and rum history. Amelia was an EXCEPTIONAL instructor/host for our Red Snapper cooking class. Oh! Our grandkids had a ball during their Chocolate class too! As a Travel Agent, I highly recommend Taino to anyone that visits Punta Cana.

This was a nice trip away from our hotel. Felix did an amazing job as host for Rum tasting. An affordable "excursion" and shop, less expensive clothes and souvenirs than hotel. Beautiful venue. 10/10 would recommend unless you don't like rum.
