I love this hotel and stay here at least twice a year for a about 3 years now. However, my last stay in August the experience was not at all what we expected the front desk (male)person was not friendly at all. Made me go back home an hour away to bring the credit card I used to book the room which had already been paid several days before. I ask for other options and offered many other cards I had on me, for incidentals. I also had my DL and my passport. I had to go home and back to check in. The Manager on duty at that moment was no help either said it was a matter of ID which I had plenty.

Amazing location and was very excited to stay here. Unfortunately, came in the room and there were bugs in the bed and ceiling. Was able to move to another room thanks to Xavier who was amazing. The GM was not helpful and tried to take off 2 Resort fees for each day. I recommend other hotels with better service. They also refused to take accountability for the bugs which was surprising. Did not feel like they genuinely cared or listened. Seems like the higher level management doesn’t care and has poor customer service.

We attended a party in the room that is well appointed to see the ocean view. The acoustics in the room were so loud we could not hear ourselves talk and think. There is no doubt that the atmosphere at the restaurant is lovely and the views are spectacular, but it is all expensive for nothing. The food is not particularly good nor did it taste fresh. If you want to spend a lot of money for mediocre food, then this may be the place for you. Certainly not for me.

    1) Only valet parking - wasn’t happy about this since I don’t like people to have access to my car. 2) The room was comfortable and mostly clean except for corner dust bunnies. Cleaned daily and plenty of towels. 3) The Latitudes Restaurant is very good, although a bit pricey. 4) Pool looked clean and well organized. The beach chair attendant at first seemed efficient but soon ruined my stay. My daughter in law booked our room since she had a family reunion. She came for a short visit and checked in at the front for beach access. She was told she didn’t need any wristbands. She came down to the beach saying she was only staying 30 minutes and she only wanted her 8 month old daughter to feel the sand and the ocean. The attendant came to the ocean side telling me I was using someone else’s chairs. I told him those were mine—you just seated me! He argued with me. Then demanded my family (who were getting upset) pay for the beach access and chairs. My daughter in law got upset and left immediately and I was stuck with two extra chairs for no reason. She was so upset since she was paying for the room and wasn’t going to be able to use the extra chairs. This attendant went on and on arguing with my husband saying the hotel had cameras and he would get in trouble if he didn’t force the chairs upon us. This incident ruined my entire stay.

An absolute dream. We just found our yearly summer vacation spot. Where to start? The amenities are fabulous, private access to the beach, great pool, restaurant is divine as well as the drinks. The staff is beyond great and friendly. The rooms are spacious, very clean, great furniture (especially the Nespresso machine). We do not have ONE single thing to complain about, this place is just your vacation heaven. If I may add a suggestion, adding a spa would make the place even better than it already is.

Seems like the renovation of guest rooms has paid off, they are very nice and have a mini fridge, which was helpful. My only complaint is that while this hotel is pet friendly, I have allergies to dogs and cats and need to be in a room where pets have not been. They don't have any rooms set aside for people who, like me, have allergies. The lady at the front desk advised me at check in that she had already told me on the phone yesterday that they can't tell which rooms have had animals in them and don't set any rooms aside for people with allergies. My impression of the communication was rather curt. I will say the other employees we encountered were all helpful and friendly, we will have to find another property due to my allergies.

Small Resort in Delray they have a pool, gym and beach. They give you a bracelet at check in for all guess staying at the resort that gives you access to pool and their private beach. You get towels at the pool area for the beach too there are umbrellas, chairs and all at the beach. The pool has a side bar and the restaurant has indoor out door seating. The restaurant has a good breakfast menu and dinner menu but the dinner menu has several things for the non seafood eater. Plus desserts. Parties of 10 to 15 they have a glass enclosed room with doors for your dining pleasure we used it and it was great. The waitress was great too. There is a ballroom for rent for that special occasions. Rooms are comfy and the bed and pillows are the best of all the hotels I ever been in. Parking is valet and free if you stay on site. If you just want to try out the restaurant you pay $10.00 parking.

The renovated rooms are very large with wonderful views of the ocean. The staff is the MOST respectful , courteous and polite ever. And all the food is fantastic. This is THE place to stay on the ocean in Palm Beach....

Honestly the best. I’ve stayed at the Ritz, the Westin, 4 seasons, and st Regis. This hotel is upscale but not pretentious. I’ve been looking for reasons to not like this place to save myself some money, but no luck. This will be my new place for weekend getaways. Thank you to all the hotel staff for making it such a welcoming experience!

Great place to stay, very friendly and the brave and pool were awesome. They don't charge you extra to get chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Only negative is the pool bathrooms have no paper towels and you have have touch two handles to get back out. Yuck!

I loved Delray Sands Resort because of the oceanfront room we stayed in and that it is a beautiful & peaceful location. The service was excellent from the valet to the front desk to the cleaning gals & the restaurant! The only negative is that the bathrooms are quite small and the sink set up isn't the best. Very minor detail. I highly recommend staying here. It was a much needed getaway!

Scott, the host checking us in was not friendly and welcoming. He read out his script fast and mumbled everything, had to rely on the valet service to guide us to our room. Valet was great, housekeeping was nice, a random resort employee was walking down the hallway around 930pm last night putting on his pants, belt, and his zipper was down; not sure what that was about. The highlight of the trip was A1 employee Shea who took care of the beach chairs and umbrellas; he was working his tail off. He’s the reason why I would come back. I hope Scott won’t checking us in again. If you have the pleasure of meeting Scott, you’ll see what I mean. I would have given this resort 4 stars for service but Scott single handedly took a star away. When you check into a resort or just meeting someone, you want to feel welcomed, unfortunately Scott didn’t do that and I will never forget that.

Wonderfully remodeled Holiday Inn. Great vibe for families hanging out by the pool. There’s a nice wide beach with lots of beach chairs and the restaurant cannot be beat. I highly recommend this resort is a wonderful place to enjoy your family.

We have been here several times before and I am sad to say it is not what it used to be. Usually Opal Resorts are on the higher end. The furniture in our room was all chipped and tired looking. Our ocean view room had a palm tree occupying the majority of the view, not the ocean. The pool man was a cantankerous fellow who stalked us and moved our stuff for no reason. The beachfront is seriously neglected with debris and old beach canopies lying around and to top it all off there was a dog attacking people and other dogs when he was not swimming in the pool. Ugh! Not our best experience. The food is still good.

Rooms are big and clean, look brand new with nautical decor. Hotel staff treated us like family. From the valets to the front desk and restaurant team, they remembered our names all weekend. Super cool feeling. Only hotel in the area that is directly on the beach with beach side servers. The yellowtail and tuna taco apps are so yummy. Views of the beach are beautiful from any table you sit at. The staff has been really welcoming from the friendly valets to the host team and servers. 10/10 would recommend for seafood in delray/highland beach area.

Pretty hotel on a gorgeous beach with some sophisticated touches like beautiful lobby and well appointed rooms. So nice to have valet parking and umbrellas included. Beautiful ocean front restaurant, great drinks, relaxing pool. Spotless and clean. Gracious and warm staff. Short drive to downtown Delray Beach. Love it here so much and will be back! Well done!
