I play this course every week with two other Vietnam Veterans , course is well maintained, challenging, loads of wildlife, scenic, lots of water, trees, and bush, price is right 20 bucks from June to October 1/2 Cart and green fees included, good food, friendly staff, nice dining area and bar!

This place is a hidden gem. It has a good mix of holes and is great for all handicaps. The food is great and the staff and service are even better. My wife doesn't even complain when we come here!

I am a beginner and this is a great course with the water hazards and trees to learn to control shots. Excellent course condition when I was there. Wildlife was great to see!

Fun layout, there are 2 or 3 holes I would redesign but overall a rewarding experience once the wetness soaks in

Just finished 18. First the good news. The course is well maintained and the price was less than $40. Now the not so good. There was no water available on the course. This is Florida in the summer and 92 degrees! This was never mentioned when we paid our greens fees. When we brought this up at the turn we were told it was “because of Covid “. My response was” This is Florida and your governor has declared Florida free of Covid” The response was “I just work here”. The course layout is ok but for a group of mostly 18 handicappers the choice of tees was difficult. The forward (Red) tees were way too short and the middle (White) were too long. Many par 4’s close to 400 yds. All in all probably won’t go back.

Participated in the St. Lucie draft house's charity event and my first time golfing. It was definitely life changing and I'm disappointed I haven't golfed before this. I didn't do bad at the event and the course and each hole was a blast. Solid fast new golfcarts, neat giftshop, there's so much to like about this course.

Very friendly staff. Great golf course. We always have fun when we come to Gator Trace. This course is well maintained, can be challenging and centrally located. Very reasonable. If you like some surprises, you may see an alligator or two as well. Check this place out. Cafe on site too!

I never regret playing at this course. Challenging enough to keep you on your toes but still a fun little gem tucked away in Fort Pierce.

Some of the friendliest staff start to finish. Had a gentleman meet me in the lot to bring a cart. A very knowledgeable young lady at check in that couldn’t be more personable. Course was in great shape. All in all, worth the hour drive.

Came from Fort Myers on our way to Coco Beach. Worth the trip! Wish it was closer, would play again for sure. In great shape.

Incredible golf course. Some very unique holes. Great place to go if you want to work on your par 4 game. Price was more than reasonable. Will definitely be back

Super fun course in very good shape. The greens rolled beautifully. Friendly staff. Will definitely play there every chance I get.

Course was inconsistent in terms of condition but a few holes were absolutely pristine. Greens rolled a little slow but some challenging holes and par 4s as someone else said. Played a solo 18 - no others so it was peaceful and pace was perfect. I’d come back depending on rates… for same price as today - probably not.

Nice atmosphere, good food and very friendly staff. They even pick you up in the parking lot with a golf cart. I was very appreciative, it was raining that day and very dark at night.

The ambience is very nice, and the food is plentiful and delicious. Service was good. And everything was made fresh. Kudos to this country club dining room.

I thought the overall condition of the golf course was excellent. Clearly a little rain helps and it drains well. Wildlife out the wazoo. They like it too. .

Open Fairways with Challenging Play and plenty of Water obstacles Beautiful greens, landscaping and scenery with a small but amply supplied Pro Shop with golf supplies, merchandise and clothing. Course was challenging and in very good shape. Fairways are open and grass cut short in the second and third cuts. Water features and ponds are amazing - yes, their are alligators. Hole #15, near the condos is a guarantee you’ll find baby alligators lying along the water stream. Prices were fair - we paid less than $30 for eighteen holes with cart. Customer service was awesome and everyone we came into contact with was friendly and outgoing. My partner arrived later, while we were on the course and they drove her out to our location on the course - can’t beat that for service. Clubhouse has great food with sit down service and take out on the course. Strongly recommend playing this course if visiting the Vero Beach, Fort Pierce, Port Saint Lucie area.

Golf course was very playable considering the rain greens were just a little slow cheeseburger was excellent in the restaurant part and the service was fabulous

Gator Trace is always in good condition. The greens run a little slow for better players but great for the average player. A tee box for seniors would be a good addition. Tee boxes and fairways are very nice. If you want to see a gator go here.

Last night our organization had our annual Christmas party. This is our 4th year having it at the Gator Trace restaurant. Our members were very impressed by the outstanding service they all received. The food was excellent! I must say that the Gator Trace restaurant is a cut above the rest. It was an awesome experience!! Thank you for another wonderful year. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend.
