Great location on Lofoten Islands. Photographer's dream! Close to a market and other amenities in Reine. Right on the water. What a view!

The essence of Lofoten! Classic red fisherman's cabins, perfectly located in Reine, with great views of Reinebringen and nearby mountains. Lovely outside area, and you can swim right from your own porch! The cabins has everything you need, in a compact, well-thought out space with the authentic Lofoten feel. Reine "center" is only 2 km away (it's nice to not live right in the middle). There is a nearby Coop grocery store. It's no surprise that people stop to take photos of these cabins.

I recently stayed at this hotel from March 2 to March 3 and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it to other travelers. Upon arrival, we noticed multiple stains on the furniture, including the bed that we had to make ourselves. We also experienced several issues during our stay. Firstly, there was no hot water in the morning, and when we called the manager, we were told that it might be because we had used all the hot water, which was impossible as we had just arrived the previous night. We had to fix the hot water tank ourselves. Later that evening, we returned to the cabin to find that there was no access to water at all. We were unable to use the bathroom, take a shower, or even cook. The manager offered to move us to another house, but we were already fed up with the poor service and decided to leave and find another place ourselves. When we asked for reimbursement, we were charged an outrageous 1200 nok cleaning fee, which is approx. three times more than other hotels we stayed in, in the Lofoten area, and they don't even provide a parking space for the Mini Valen cabin. Overall, our experience at this hotel was disappointing, and we do not recommend it to other travelers.

Beautiful cozy cabins and reasonable prices. Have everything inside that you need with 100 gallons waters in small one cabins that enough for me for solo hike living for 3 nights. Highly recommended

For the one room cabin (mini Valen): Excellent location, beautiful views and beautiful interior. The cabin was very clean and all the appliances were new. Two major buts: The hot water container has a capacity of 100 litres, which is just enough for two showers (average shower takes about 60 litres). It's manageable, but it would have been nice to know in advance. The second but, is that the kitchen is right under the bed, with no smoke collector, so it very much reduces the cooking possibilities in the cabin. The host was very helpful and responsive though. In conclusion: A very nice place with restricted amenities. Probably a bit overpriced. But enjoyed our stay

Estuvimos 3 noches en la mini Valen. Está en un lugar increíble muy buenas vistas y hasta vimos la aurora boreal. Me encantó! Ideal para 2 personas. Volvería sin dudarlo 😍
