Sandwiches were ok, not amazing. The scone was delicious. Service is good. It's a quiet/cozy atmosphere, really lovely for a nice afternoon tea. For the actual afternoon tea food, a few other places were better such as the May Fair Hotel (sandwiches and sweets were far better) and Dorchester.

A very cozy place. Service of the staff was amazing. Tea, pastries and scones tasted delicious. Appreciated that the hotel accepted single bookings for one person since I was alone on a business trip. Will definitely come back here.

We came in as a group of 6 (family + in-laws) for the afternoon tea. I must admit we started with extremely high expectation that came from a previous attendance in 2019. This time we felt a lot less cared for than in our last visit. It’s probably got to do with the challenges your industry has to train and retain quality staff during the last 18 months. However, it doesn’t change the price we had to pay for this experience. We found the welcoming not quite as warm, the service not quite as attentive and worst of it all, the scones were not warm! We asked for glasses of water but they weren’t brought to us. Overall it was still a positive experience, but I wouldn’t be prepared to pay the same price again for this level of service. The rest of the food was excellent. I would warmly recommend if budget isn’t an issue. For us it means making a sacrifice to get a very special experience and I find this time around it wasn’t worth it.

Booked the Conservatory for a bridal shower and had afternoon tea. The Food and beverages manager - Leo was very accomodating to the requests made and very helpful during the booking process. The Afternoon tea was very scrumptious, tasty and very filling. The room had a airy modern feel to it which fit the mood and was perfect for 13 of us and a baby. The staff were all very helpful and attentive to our needs - including giving us space to change before the event and also allowing us to stay slightly longer. It was a brilliant experience and great service all round!

The Milestone Hotel is a luxurious five-star hotel located in the heart of Kensington, and their Afternoon Tea is a must-try for anyone looking for a quintessentially British experience. The hotel's elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, combined with its impeccable service, made for an unforgettable experience. As I was seated at my table, I was presented with an extensive tea menu, featuring a wide selection of teas from around the world. I decided to go for the traditional English Breakfast tea to accompany my food. The food arrived shortly after presented beautifully on a tiered stand. The bottom tier featured a variety of sandwiches, including cucumber & cream cheese, smoked salmon & dill, egg mayonnaise & cress and their signature (my fav) chicken mayonnaise and toasted almonds. Each sandwich was freshly made and tasted delicious. On the top tier was an array of sweet treats, including a selection of cakes and pastries. My favourites were the hazelnut creme choux pastry and the toffee apple tart, both of which were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Finally, I was presented with warm, freshly baked scones, served with clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam. The scones were perfectly baked, with a crispy exterior and a soft and fluffy interior. Throughout my meal, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, polite and knowledgeable, and made me feel very welcome. Overall, the Afternoon Tea at Milestone Hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the tea was perfect, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Halal British Afternoon Tea experience. Big thank you to Dorina for her excellent service throughout our experience.

Had the most divine dining experience here recently. The service was impeccable, the food was exceptional, and totally loved the old world atmosphere and very tasteful decor. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a fancy dinner spot for a luxurious treat.

Likes Dining at 5 star with an absolute nice atmosphere Doorman was very friendly and ask about our day. Dislikes For £75, High tea food wasnt amazing. Scones was soft but not buttery nor sweet. Service midway was nonexistent. Maybe it would be better to have at least one staff around at all times. Not something I would have expect from a 5 star hotel

This is definitely an excellent afternoon tea experience, the cakes were very tasty and scones were super delicious. The tea room is so very quaint and perfect setting for afternoon tea. The customer service was also superb.

Had a first class afternoon tea in the Park Lounge over the holidays. On a blustery day the lounge was cozy and elegant. The food was delicious and plentiful. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Afternoon tea at The Milestone Hotel was exactly what we wanted and was a great experience. On our trip to London we wanted a cozy spot for tea versus a large room full of tables. The Milestone has about 8-10 settings in a historic building where service was top notch and food was terrific. There was a good selection of tea and very helpful staff provided a great experience.

Afternoon tea at the Milestone was such a delight! The staff made me feel like royalty and were very knowledgeable about the Kensington area and history of the hotel. The food was lovely and the Inverse tea was perfect. I was even served complimentary champagne! The experience was wonderful, but it was rather expensive. So if you’re looking for a fancy afternoon tea and willing to splurge a little, I would highly recommend The Milestone Hotel!

we were at the milestone for afternoon tea with champagne. it was a lovely quiet room. the sandwiches and pastries were tasty but nothing special. the best part of the tea offerings were the scones. as for the service, no one offered additional sandwiches or noticed we were out of tea. chosen for its location near the royal albert, i’d look for an alternative next time.

The setting is majestic. Service is as expected at a 5-star hotel. All the food was fresh, light and delicious.

It was a very nice experience. Great scones and tea, and a calm atmosphere. The staff was also very friendly towards a toddler in our party. And despite it being a classy establishment we were allowed to take a well designed little doggybag of the pastries we didn't eat.
