Let's start with the positives. Good location, staff lovely, friendly and very polite. Outside appearance scaffolding so having work done which early. Morning started and so. Much banging so no rest. Room really small and no wardrobe but a sort of drawer unit with TV. Kettle absolutely filthy and needing descaling desperately. Carpet not too bad where could be seen. No air at all as window opens a tiny bit onto scaffolding. Booking was two beds but had double and no other available. Bathroom OK but toilet brush, omg, had not been cleaned at all with old tissue still on it.

Location is decent, about 7 minutes from Earl's Court Underground station. Other than that, everything else is abysmal. I have travelled and stayed in many places but this is by far the worst place. Don't even bother to spend your money here no matter how cheap it is. I don't think they even deserve any star rating and should shut down and it is bordering dangerous. Door to the room cannot be securely locked. It seems like someone has previously tried to pry it open. Room is extremely small. The carpet is so filthy we dare not remove the shoes.nwalls and ceiling has stains cracks. Some parts are mouldy which is a heath hazard. Toilet floor sieve cap is missing. Hose for the shower head is broken. Drain for shower cubicle is semi clogged so you literally stand on a pool of water. There is probably a leak from the toilet to the room so half the room carpet is wet. The hair dryer is left hanging on the wall because the holder is broken. It runs for less than 1 minute and then fuses out. This is a fire hazard. There is a TV, but no remote control. Turned on the TV manually but guess what, nothing is accessible. so why bother advertising having TV on. A kettle is kept in a broken wardrobe. Simple coffee and tea provided but I don't even dare to use any of the mugs given the state of the mugs. We couldn't sleep well the entire night because the room is next to the street. You can literally hear the conversation and foot steps of passer-by. This is an example of a hotel.who doesn't care at all. So don't bother staying here at all. I really hope that authorities look into this establishment before something terrible happens.

Me and my family checked in here and stayed for around half an hour while we were booking another hotel. It was very unclean. There were open bottles of bleach lying around. Shower was hanging off the wall and the hairdryer holder was all snapped. The tap was broken but sink was too dirty to be used anyway. When we turned up our door was already open and could be opened even when the locks were on. We were put in the basement with bars over our window and the fire door padlocked. The carpet didn’t fit the floor so carpet tacks were on show and the wardrobe was all broken, with stains and dead bugs on the mattress, duvet and pillows. Smelt a lot of smoke. Even our taxi driver who dropped us off was worried when he saw where we’d booked. Only good thing is the location.

Moved me to another hotel without warning. I arrived on the day they say they've overbooked "somehow" and I had to travel to a different hotel which was an "upgrade" (it was not). I had received emails that stated there would be certain areas of the hotel unavailable due to construction, not once did i get an email saying "we've moved you to a different hotel please be aware abd travel to that hotel instead". They then had the audacity to accuse me of not paying. I want a refund because this was unacceptable.

Adequate. Its cheap. And thus the features are cheap with no frills. Shower pressure decent enough. Location is in a busy road. I've stayed in worse, and in better. If you are looking for somewhere to arrive late, sleep , nd get up early and go then no worries. If you want any amenities or to spend any time in the room, maybe not.

We haven't actually stayed here yet, I'm just writing this because I know they read the reviews (hopefully.) I know they're undergoing some renovation works right now, till October, so I'm hoping we'll get a clean, spacious room with working facilities and no bugs? My usual moto is '' so long as it's clean, warm, comfortable, safe and secure then it'll be ok'' we don't need high end furniture, or expensive mattresses or a lift to enjoy our stay. but now I've read these reviews, I'm actually scared to go! also, I booked added dates for which I need to pay at the hotel on arrival, but they took the money from my bank account this morning, 18 days too early! I have requested a refund on that amount as I have already paid for the first set of dates. I'm giving them two days to send it back. Cheap doesn't have to mean bad, or unclean. I've stayed in some bad hotel rooms in my time, but they've been fit for purpose with no bugs or damp or sticky carpets. I'm really hoping that we have a decent room. I don't have £450 to throw away and time to waste and extra money trying to find another hotel with two autistic children in tow. so, Hotel Olympia, please refund me the money that you took today. and please put us in a decent clean safe warm and comfortable room. I really shouldn't have read the reviews. thanks.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. The whole building is disgustingly dirty and covered with damp. Mould on the walls and the smell of it was not acceptable. How this is still a running facility? This is dangerous to health!! How are you not ashamed to allow people in this building risking their health. This must be reported. Not to mention the state of the bed, the furniture and not working appliances. Absolutely disgusting!! Avoid at all cost!!!!!

Genuinely one of the worst experiences in a hotel. We arrived and had made ourselves as comfortable as we could to then find an ants nest in the room we were staying. We obviously complained and were told there were no more rooms (not that I'd of wanted one after that) and we were basically left with two options, sleep rough in the streets or pay £140 for train tickets home the same night. Its been over a week since that now and nothing had been resolved by the hotel who are just ignoring my every message and call and avoiding the situation!

Good value for money, 1 minute walking from Earl’s Court underground station. Staff was helpful and kind. Hair dryer not working but beside that was okay.

If you’re looking for a cheap room near to the tube, this hotel has you covered. However, it offers nothing in terms of quality. Sloping steps up to the rooms, dirty paintwork, evidence of leaks on the ceiling and windows that do not prevent external noise. The mattress was really good though. The place needs some investment to avoid mostly negative reviews like this. Hopefully the construction work in evidence outside the building is a sign that there’s a bright future for the place.

zero stars would be more appropriate and I my fault for not checking reviews before booking, booked for a quick night stay before going to the airport, what can I say. Just awful and not fit to purpose. Dirty, smelly room in the basement, I did not sleep at all, it was a horror movie not a hotel. Avoid like the plague I am lucky if i did not catch any kind of illness in such a disgusting place, I cannot understand how can they still operate

The reception never accept my change of the times of check in, the room have old furniture, they need change that, the TV not working, the location of the room have too much noise from outside. They should be more flexible with the check in if the room is not good , I leaved the hotel and move to the house of my friend. A pity

If this hôtel is a 3 stars hotel, then my bedroom deserves 10 stars. Everything was dirty, there was mold and holes on the wall, and rooms are very small. If you’re looking for sleeping in decent conditions RUN AWAY !! But if you want to do a survival experience you can try it.

Very unpleasant, we were put in a basement room with 2 double beds for my mum, my two sons aged 13 and 11 and myself. One headboard broken, wardrobe hanging together. The 3 scart port on the TV didn't work so my son's couldn't use their games console. Carpet didn't fit you could see the gripper rods. Dust thick under the beds. Bed linen and towels were not changed all week. No aircon or even the facility of a fan. Window frames rotten. Sirens can be heard all night!!! The place would need completely refurbishment. Considering this "hotel" is on the same street as houses with BMW, Mercedes and the like cars parked outside is a disgrace i wouldnt leave my pet to stay. Its a shame because the location is amazing.

The room was clean to an acceptable standard .but some information not correct and needs to be updated. Staff friendly but very budget friendly. No coffee tea facilities available.as could not use kettle. Requested extra pillow unfortunately could not be given one. And room gets warm as heating on all night. No cups provided.no breakfast facilities .no house keeping available .seem to be limited to what is provided in rooms .but overall good stay .still expect higher standards as stated on website hotel still charge a rate for your stay.

This hotel was truly unacceptable. The room was overrun with bed bugs, and the sheets were visibly soiled with bodily fluids. The overall odor was a distressing combination of sweat, urine, and feces. Despite my complaints to the front desk, they showed a complete lack of interest in rectifying the situation. I had no choice but to spend the night in my car. I can confidently say that I will never consider staying at this establishment again.

A nightmare from the start! The receptionist was unable to find our prepaid booking upon arrival despite me calling ahead 2 weeks before. The room was absolutely disgusting. Brown stains on the ceiling which were dripping water from the room above, damp, frayed and stained carpet, broken furniture and the curtains were hanging off. I complained to reception and was told to complete a complaints form with no immediate solution offered. This meant that I had no choice but to stay here with my two young children, I almost did the 6 hour drive home if it weren't for my little one being so tired. The room should be decommissioned. This was room B4 in the basement. I have never left a bad review anywhere however I don't feel that it's fair that people should be wasting their hard earned cash on this hotel, we've been waiting to come here all year.
