Hi everyone, if you’re on here looking for a good vegan restaurant in London- this is it! This is without doubt the best vegan restaurant in London- and I’ve tried a fair few! I live nearby, and have had so many meals here over the years. Every single time, the food is inventive, balanced, flavoursome, diverse and delicious. Unlike a lot of vegan restaurants, Mildreds do not keep anything off limits. There are fake meats like their mind-blowing chicken skewers for those who miss meat, and more whole-food offerings like sri lankan curries or miso mushroom salads for those who want more of a vegetable focus. Desserts and cocktails are really creative, with flavour inspirations from all around the world. They do not feel the need to cater to either the mega vegan junk food market, nor the super health-conscious extreme. It is just well balanced, satisfying food focused on flavours. Everything I eat here is a dish I’ve never seen anywhere else (unlike the butternut squash risottos and beyond burgers of the world.) The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food: it feels like a fancy treat. The ambience in the restaurant is lovely, dimly lit with candals, something I find to be lacking in a lot of other all-vegan places (though I have to confess being in their delivery zone is not kind to my wallet). Thank you Mildreds for showcasing how fantastic vegan food can be. 💚

As a self confesed carnivore I am happily adding Mildreds vegetarian and vegan menu to my list of favourites spots in Camden. The menu is surprisingly varied and the dishes fresh and full of flavour. The Kimchi noddles (£13) was a great mix of hoisin tofu, stir fried veg and crispy onions. The Kashmiri Cauliflower (£6.50) made a humble cauliflower comes to life with coconut yogurt, coriander & green chilli chutney. The only area for improvement is the saggy and oily sweet potato fries. If you are after fresh and varied vegetarian and vegan dishes, give Mildreds a try.

Very busy place ...for a reason 👍🏻💓 Delicious food, I really enjoyed my meal and I'm not even vegetarian. Meals taste fresh, portions are filling and I like the presentation as well. Prices are reasonable. Totally recommend.

Gorgeous meals, a full menu of vegan options, so it's 100% safe for vegans. They even accepted us in the middle of the afternoon. Beautiful cocktails, mocktails and desserts! Staff was lovely and the venue is great, too.

Fantastic food and brilliant service. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options to choose from. It's nice to see a lot of variety in the menu. Would definitely recommend this place but it can get busy - especially the one in Camden so I would advise to book in advance!

As a non-vegan, I enjoyed this restaurant much more than I expected. I ordered the Korean fried chick’n burger and chips. Really delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant too and super friendly staff.

Freaking love this place. I am always nervous when I go to vegan places but I would definitely recommend. We had the BBQ pulled pok with skin fries. For dessert, we had the cheesecake and I was shook. The texture and flavor of it was just like regular cheesecake. 10/10 . I had order some to go.

The waitress was excellent and the overall service was excellent. The food tasted awesome. 100% vegan. This place was pretty much across the street from our hotel so it was the first on my wife’s list. The restrooms were clean. The #1 reason for the four stars instead of the 5 is because they apparently allow lets in the restaurant 😬 That’s a no no for us. The other guest near us had her dog in her lap and it had its’ head all over the table etc…we could just imagine fur and germs going everywhere… we know it’s a thing these days but yikes.

Some restaurants have amazing vegitarian options. This place is a great restaurant full stop. The fact it's all vegitarian is almost irrelevant. One of the best meals I have had in recent memory.

We had lunch here after a trip to nearby Kentish Town City Farm (about a 20 min walk). Food was excellent- I had the curry and my partner had a Korean meal with fried rice and tofu. I would give my meal a 9 out of 10- flavours and combination really good but lacked a bit of protein so it felt a bit expensive at £17. My partner had a Korean fried rice with tofu and there were plenty of vegetables and flavour. We rounded off with a chocolate cake we'd have given 7.5 out of 10. Service was great- really paying attention so you never had to wave for the bill or for them to come and take your order. Toilets (gender neutral) were also well maintained and clean. There is a larger, more accessible toilet as well. We visited at a busy time so it was a little bit noisy as the tables are very close together, but the music is only on quiet and it's just a matter of acoustics. Would highly recommend.

Divine food and great service. Marco was above and beyond. The professionality and kindness made the whole experience superb. The food was served promptly, cooked well and hot. The meals are appealing to the eye, surprisingly filling and each flavour was a celebration in the mouth. I am not vegetarian and find easily the best restaurant in London. Can't wait to tell the world about this gem!!

Mildreds in Camden is one of the top vegan restaurants in London. The restaurant is conveniently located off Camden High Street and is set within a modern glass cladded building. The restaurant is contemporarily design, clean and welcoming. The food is extremely delicious, fresh and enticingly presented. I would highly recommend this to any friends and family. The staff were very friendly, nice and helpful.

Nom nom!!! I am not on a plant based diet, but me and some friends went here to celebrate my sassy self and I will definitely be returning to try some of their other dishes. We had the big breakfast and it was delicious. I don't know what sort of black magic they did to the tofu, but it mimics the taste and texture of scrambled eggs to perfection. The plant based sausage had great flavour. I am very picky when it comes to bloody Mary's, and this one was just right. The staff was friendly too, but you probably want to get there somewhere around noon so you have their full attention 😉

Visited as a walk in on a weekend evening, the restaurant was busy but able to accommodate. I am not vegan. The hummus starter was amazing - so smooth and tasty and the bread was also delicious. The Korean chicken burger was lovely, a good texture to the chicken making it taste alot like chicken. The kuftas were not as good and were just grates carrots mashed together, I didn't enjoy this dish as much. It was a good experience. I would prob visit again to try the other things on the menu. It is difficult to get the attention of staff - maybe they were short staffed due to covid, but still very friendly.

Fabulous food as always. Have been eating at Mildreds for years & love the way it has evolved & changed. It is vegan now but myself being a veggie & my partner a carnivore makes no difference. Food is excellent. Service always friendly & efficient.

Visited here in August with a group of friends and we all really enjoyed the food we got here. The service here was fantastic, the food was prompt, and everything was delicious. I wish I lived in the area so I'd have more opportunity to try their menu out, but I'll be sure to visit again next time I'm in London. If you're looking for some great high-class vegan food, you'll definitely want to check out the food at Mildred's!

I haven’t been to Camden for a long time and we came up for my birthday as something a little different to do. So whilst doing something different why not go to a Vegan restaurant. I was really impressed with the flavourings and I didn’t think considering we are in London it was that badly priced. The staff were really friendly. My favourite dishes were the spinach Gyoza and the Pulled Pork (not pork) burger - this was incredibly flavourful. Would most definitely come back here even as an avid meat lover.

Very bubbly atmosphere and well decorated for a fresh feel. I booked a table online, and glad I did as it was busy. We arrived about 15 mins before booking time, but they were able to accommodate us. I'm not a vegan, and have to admit that there were items listed in dishes that I had no idea what they were, so I just randomly chose the Almuerzo Brunch. Delicious! The food tastes healthy and is filling, and lots of flavours in each part of the brunch I tried. Oh, and try the lavender and lemon home blend drink... It's very refreshing. The staff were super friendly and welcoming , and relaxed, despite a busy restaurant. I'd highly recommend this place.

We ate at the covent garden branch the best burger ever so had to come back again. The Amba vegan kebabs were wonderful, also the pulled pok burger, but the chicken burger was absolutely the best. The cabbage steak (we ordered on the other branche) was a bit bitter unfortunately.

I had a wonderful meal at Mildred's in Camden. I chose the lunch menu which includes 3 courses, and the option of a glass of wine at a discounted price. I really enjoyed it and can recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try excellent vegan food.

Came here with a vegan friend on Saturday for lunch having made a reservation prior but was a bit surprised to see that it was only half-filled at 1pm. Although it did get filled up a bit more later on so I do advise booking in advance to avoid any hassle. I went with the banana biscoff pancakes while my friend went for the Korean fried chicken burger with sweet potato fries. Gotta say my pancakes were pretty decent considering they were vegan and not too chewy at all. Coupled with that caramel sauce, bananas and biscoff crumbs they were really delicious. I also added salted caramel ice cream on the side which was super lovely, served as a mini additional sauce. They then gave me the vanilla cream belatedly which I didn't like much as it's too creamy for my liking. My friend really enjoyed her burger and fries, and I also tried the fries which were freshly fried and super sweet and savoury with the salt on top, went perfectly with the ketchup and garlic sauce. Service was good and vibes were chill but way too loud and noisy for us because we couldn't talk properly and I almost had to shout a little because the desks were so close to each other I could hear the entire conversation at the desk next to us which wasn't great for privacy. Overall, it's a good experience and I would be happy to come back again but will definitely try to avoid busy hours to spend quality time with my friends.

Served by the lovely Izzy, visited on Christmas Eve for Brunch and was not dissapointed. Lovely decor and great service from people who are genuinely nice! Opted for the classic brunch which included scrambled Tofu, sourdough toast, mushroom and tomato, beans, veggie sausage, spinach and fried potatoes. Big portion size totally full for most of the day after eating, I shared a portion of the banofee Pancakes with my wife which were delicious. Definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a vegan breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner.

what an amazing place this is. and not only because of the service (all staff is truly amazing - and especially our waitress Izzy made our night - and you can clearly see how management wants to make everyone happy, customers first but employees also) but the food…. my god the food is an experience in itself worth a try. I’m really impressed by the place and either will be back or try another location of the brand. but really, especially if you are *not* vegetarian and want to see how special a meal without meat can be, come here and rest assured you will have a great time out.

Delicious food, the majority of which is vegan, and whilst I don’t normally eat desserts, the options here are great too, in particular the truffles. The space is light and airy and all of the staff are friendly and attentive. This restaurant is in a great location too that is more tranquil than being on the high road.

We ordered a take away and were quite surprised with the quality of food. It's probably on the expensive end but the quality is there and there's clearly an effort to present a varied and interesting menu, that will satisfy a broad range of individual. We loved the flavourful cabbage and the curry. We were a bit disappointed with the winter root slaw (a bit bland and watery) and would have loved another piece of pita for our delicious hummous. The dessert was also very good and thoughtfully packaged, even if I found the pudding a tad too sweet for my liking. Overall a great meal, plus recyclable packaging - we'll order again!

I've been to Mildreds at all their locations many, many times but never wrote a review! We went on Friday and a had a guy called Hugo greet us and sort us out - great guy so wanted to give him a shout out! Food is always good, varied menu incase you aren't sure what food you fancy, and a nice atmosphere. Lastly it's mainly Vegan food, vegetarian otherwise, so win-win for me!

Food was OK, nothing to write home about. Service was rude, the waiter asked me what I'd like to drink, I replied a coffee, he asked what milk, I said "normal milk" he said "there's nothing normal about it, but you can have it" If I wanted preaching to I'd go to church, I don't have to eat in your restaurant and I certainly won't be coming back

The food was really good, but the experience there was extraordinary. I wasnt convinced at the beginning, the service was good, the waiter tried really hard, but he brought me an alcoholic drink when I explicitly asked for non-alcoholic. For some it might not be a big deal, but for others it might be. So when I explained the situation, I was astonished by the way they handled it. The manager came up, and genuinely seemed to understand why I wasn't happy about the situation, and most wouldnt, so that meant a lot. It's a great place, where they take care of you and serve you superb vegan food. Give it a try! All the best!

Hit and miss vegan/ veg restaurant. I’ve had the banh mi burger twice. The first time, delicious! The 2nd time the seitan ( or whatever meat substitute they use) was greasy, and almost inedible. I have to say I love the veg gyoza and the raw snickers bar on the dessert menu. Staff are usually very nice too.

Average. Wasn't as good as flagship Covent Garden restaurant. Their Buffalo chick'n burger... not enough Buffalo sauce in it. And for some reason - no Blue Cheese dressing, but some yoghurt-y take on American Ranch. All wrong IMO. Better off eating Vegan Chicken burger at Temple Of Seitan

One of my favourite resturants, I go here TOO often, so many I've lost count! The menu now needs updating from the smaller covid menu and would be great if the couple of unnecessary 'non vegan' items were removed from the menu to make Mildreds Vegan.

What a superb meal we had! The Sri Lankan curry has been on my mind ever since, unfortunately, I had also ordered the sublime aubergine starter and struggled to fit this all in my belly, not for the lack of trying!! My daughters had the gyoza and what a triumph they were! So silky and smooth, top marks to the chef. Service was friendly and efficient, atmosphere was buzzing and the gin was good as well. We will definitely be back and recommending it to anyone visiting London until that time. Many thanks for such an enjoyable dining experience.

Giving four stars even though had some issues with the food. But because the service here was very good even though they were quite busy, I think it deserves a higher rating than just based off of the food alone. The staff was very attentive and prompt with bringing out the food. Got the bbq ranch chick’n burger which was pretty good. (Had the bbq sauce on the side so I could add what I wanted to the burger and skipped the red onions.) The chick’n was perfectly crunchy on the outside without being oily. I didn’t like the bun for the burger though - it was so airy, without any substance at all. The fries and garlic aioli were good - fries were not greasy or too salty at all. Starter was the hummus and amba which my waitress recomendad. But I didn’t like it. Not only was it a bit spicy for my taste but I couldn’t get any apricot flavor from the amba or harissa. The worst was the pita though. While it was nice that they grilled it, it was incredibly salty. It felt like I was eating more salt than bread. Also there wasn’t enough pita bread for the amount of hummus they gave. Dessert was the caramel cheesecake which I had before at the King’s Cross location. Was good but they didn’t add as much garnishes as the one I had at King’s Cross. I would still come back to this location since I really liked the staff. I would just not order some of the things again.

Food was really nice, and fresh. The servers were also nice. Made it feel like family owned. I just wish the portions were bigger as the food was delicious.

We turned up really late at night and they were the only restaurant willing to seat us! But don't think just because it wasn't our first choice we were disappointed, they were so friendly, they asked multiple times if we were sure we had everything we needed as they were closing shortly, we didn't feel rushed and the food was amazing! We didn't realise it was vegan, but with food this fab, even obdurate meet eaters will come away happy!

Pre-concert meal. Amazing food. Visited the Soho restaurant previously. Service was quick and friendly. Had two cocktails each as well as four small plates and a big plate to share and a white chocolate tiramisu. Highly recommend visiting.

I’ve been to Mildred’s many times over the years and usually go to the one Soho. Went to the Mildred’s in Camden and it was really great. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Currently they have a “Choose Brazil, Choose Earth” special menu aside from their main menu. From that special menu I’d recommend the Coconut Caipirinha to drink and to eat the heirloom tomato salad and pulled bbq pepper pastel.

Staff were nice and cocktails very interesting and refreshing. We liked the lychee martini. The full breakfast that had scrambled tofu was surprisingly nice. The whipped avocado has very strong coriander, so don't get it if you don't like that taste.

Welcoming place and friendly staff. It was very quiet when I visited and picked over the time I was there visiting. The food had fresh-tasting ingredients and came out right after being cooked…it was so hot I had to wait to eat it. My food came out before my drinks though and I had to wait for them. Only reason it’s not 5 stars. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in the area!

Highly recommend this Vegan 🌱 restaurant!!!! Cozy, quite, big space, variety of the food!! Most important, the staff Niki and Charles here are super welcoming and friendly. They let me stay and do my own stuff as long as I want. I am usually the first client in the morning:) Amazing way to start the day with a very tasty and healthy food here. You have to come check it out!!!!! Definitely worth your time🙌

I had the leek gnocchi and it was quite bland, it was very disappointing. Although, the nachos were incredible. The pitta bread is always amazing, so warm. I highly recommend the Hummus, it’s so flavourful! It’s a Mildreds, so the service was great and so was the atmosphere.

I had a great time in Mildreds. The place is easy to find, located in a road parallel to the Regent’s canal, a non crowded side road. The restaurant decoration is nice, large windows allows the light to come in. The food was really amazing! I got a curry dish which was delicious, very well prepared and my partner got a Korean burger. She loved it too. The staff was super relaxed and friendly all the time. Mildreds is one of those places that remember us how delicious one can eat if goes vegan. For sure I’ll come back

I tried this restaurant because I wanted to accommodate my friend who is vegan and honestly i had the best salad of my life (grilled artichoke Caesar) 🥬😉. The service was also super kind and friendly. I liked the idea behind the name of the dishes - go there and you will see. Highly recommended.

The local was realy nice and also the food tasted realy good. One of our dishes should have had some edamame in it, but we couldnt find it (still realy tasty). For some reason the service gave us still water that costs something, but everybody else had free water… not nice The cocktails were okey, but not special. But all in all a nice restaurant with good food.

The store was empty, but it is very clean. The flat white coffee was good strength. Confusingly the waitress asked if I wanted milk. Teas are available. We came for drinks only. Customer interest and engagement makes it 5 stars.

Really pleasant evening a Mildreds! The atmosphere was lovely, staff were great and the food was really special. The highlight was definitely the plum thyme spritz!

Mildreds is the perfect all-rounder vegan 🌱 restaurant IMO 💁🏼‍♀️ It’s got something for everyone & they’ve been in the game a long time so know what’s up [pr invite] 🩵 I would describe the menu as a fusion exploring tastes from all over the globe 🌎 Leaning more heavily towards Asian cuisine, but you can also get bangers & mash! 🇬🇧 The Camden branch has just had a lovely refurb so I went to check it out 🥳 Here’s what I ate: Small - 🩵 aloo bonda beetroot methi raita, pomegranate 🩵 hot & sour szechuan cabbage wedge sesame cream, chilli oil Big - 💜 kiri hodi sri lankan coconut curry leaf sauce, sweet potato green bean sabzi, pineapple achar, cashew coconut sev, pea basmati, mint mango chutney 💜 chick’n shish tawook kebab marinated plant chick’n kebabs, goji butternut wild rice pilaf, spiced almonds, soft herbs, chilli Dessert - 🩷 chocolate ganache layer cake candied hazelnuts, salted caramel ice cream 🩷 spiced sticky toffee date molasses toffee sauce, vanilla nutmeg cream Drinks - 🍹 pink citrus spritz everleaf marine, artisan pink citrus tonic, grapefruit (@everleafdrinks) 🥂 noughty 0% blanc de blancs, thompson & scott (alcohol-free) (@noughtyaf) I recommend Mildreds for a catch-up with friends or if you have family in town who are willing to give plant-based a go 🤗 You are in great hands with Mildred’s 💝

We ate here for the first time and we were honestly blown away by the service we received! It was a Friday night so they were extremely busy but the staff were so attentive and friendly. My husband and I have both worked in hospitality in the past so we know how stressful and how much hard work it is, especially during busy periods. The staff & management genuinely care that their customers enjoy their meal and have a great dining experience. They really went above & beyond to make sure everything was OK for us. We’ve eaten at Mildred’s many times just never at the Camden branch. The food from the main menu is simply spectacular - we always bring our non-vegans friends to Mildred’s and they absolutely love it! This time we opted for the 3 course set xmas menu. Everything was really tasty, perhaps not as outstanding as their usual menu but still everything was delicious and we enjoyed every last morsel! (It’s just that their main menu is so exceptional, it’s hard to beat!!) I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! We will definitely come back :)

The food here is delicious but the service is on another level. Izzy was the most attentive waitress as was Jaz who couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful surroundings. Utterly delicious food. And truly knowledgeable and attentive staff. My husband and I had a lovely experience under the care of the lovely Izzie. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. And we still have to return as there were so many yummy sounding dishes we didn’t get to try!
