Compare to Jakarta, the pedestrian zone in Bogor is certainly cleaner and greener. There's a lot of trees on every corner. They have a lot of parks and it's beautiful too, no reason there's a lot of people come here in the morning or afternoon for exercises or just walking around the park with family and kids. A lot of street vendors selling foods and drinks too. The location itself is next to the train station so you can get here using KRL train (via Jakarta Kota - Bogor).

First time ever after it was renovate. It become a wide open area beside the Bogor Train Station. There a beautiful and classical and historical building that perfect for photograph. The open field is still closed while i was there. Maybe soon it will open for public.

This place is great for gathering and exercising with family. There is jogging track and several sports equipment available. On the other side, there is also a playground for children, so the can play while parents exercise. Ther are also various food vendors. We can also ride a horse-drawn carriage around a certain route and return to the square. The toilets are quite crowded and there are not enough of them, so there may be a need to queue to enter. Hopefully this place can maintain its beauty and visitors can always pay attention to its cleanliness.

One of communal space in the city center of Bogor. Located next to Bogor railway station. There are a lot of trees, and sitting area here. It's very crowded during the day because the surrounding area are crowded too, like a traditional market, the schools, and train station. The main road in front of the Square is congested almost every time.

Alun-alun Bogor is a new attraction in the heart of Bogor, which was inaugurated by the governor of West Java on December 17, 2021. The park covers an area of 1.7 hectares and is surrounded by historic buildings, such as Bogor Station and the Grand Mosque. Alun-alun Bogor has a modern design that resembles the open space concept in European countries. It also has various facilities, such as a botanical zone for relaxation, a sports zone for recreation and exercise, a plaza zone for education and art, and a religious zone that is integrated with the mosque. Alun-alun Bogor is a great place to enjoy the green scenery, the fresh air, and the cultural heritage of Bogor. However, the construction of alun-alun Bogor also means the end of taman topi, which was a legendary park for children and families in Bogor. Taman topi, which was also known as taman Ade Irma Suryani or taman Wilhelmina, was built in 1975 and had various attractions, such as giant hat-shaped buildings, a mini train, a helicopter, a balloon castle, and a swimming pool. Taman topi was also a place for social and musical events, especially for indie bands. Taman topi was a part of Bogor’s history and identity, and many people have fond memories of it. Taman topi has now moved to a new location at the foot of Mount Salak, with a new name of taman topi Chiquita. The new park still has some of the old attractions, as well as an outbound area. The new park also offers a beautiful view of Mount Salak and a cooler atmosphere. However, some people may feel that the new park is not the same as the old one, and that the relocation of taman topi is a loss for Bogor. Therefore, alun-alun Bogor and taman topi represent two sides of Bogor’s development. On one hand, alun-alun Bogor is a symbol of Bogor’s progress and modernity, which can attract more visitors and boost the economy. On the other hand, taman topi is a symbol of Bogor’s nostalgia and tradition, which can preserve the culture and the memories of the people. Both parks have their own charms and values, and both deserve to be appreciated and respected.

Located right beside of Bogor Train Station, this park certainly has gone through some game-changing renovations. It certainly has evolved to be a comfortable public space for everyone. Can be quite packed on the weekend, you'll see a melting pot of people in here. From families, teenagers hanging out with their friends to joggers that bring along their pets around. Asides from the park, the sideway of station also being renovated as well. You can also sight-seeing some of the preserved old relics from Dutch colonialism.

A good place for jogging or just a walk with friends/family enjoying the city in the morning/ evening. The place is next to Bogor station, you can access the station from here. There are also a lot of street foods around (Soto Mie Bogor, Orange Juice, Coconut, etc). This place is too crowded on weekends. There is some sports equipment but lots of children playing in the place even though there are signs that the equipment is for adults not for children.

It's a nice park, there are playground for exercise, a monument, and others. it's very strategic too, from west there's a Palace of Bogor and "Kebun Raya", if you from outside Bogor City, from west and south west there are Train Stations from Jakarta and Sukabumi, and 5 Bus Stop around it (use K2 & K3).

Had a very bad experience during the opening: someone stole my husband's helmet in the parking lot (I suspect it was one of the 'tukang parkir') and it was wayyy too crowded to keep the protocols. Now the place is much cleaner with various food hawkers next to the area.
