I know it’s hard to manage a museum, especially when most of our public is not interested; as of 19092023, the building is lack in maintenance, dust is everywhere, the room is very hot and no air circulation and the ceiling is broken in some place. I hope one day there’s someone who can help to make this place better.

It's a little (or a lot) shady and scary at first, maybe because i make a visit in the evening. The place is not big enough and lack collection of historical object, i dont think we can learn much about our history here. But to spend time and have look to observe a few historical objects. It's worth a try.

Suitable for pupils and students to gain knowledge about the history of the struggle in the Bogor area. Entrance ticket on weekends is 15 thousand per person. It was also sad to see the condition of the museum building, there were several ceilings that were peeling off and the lighting wasn't working. Input for the Bogor city government to pay more attention to the condition of the Struggle museum

(Translated by Google) Ask the management of the museum or related service. This museum is actually pretty good for history. But keep in mind the condition of the building. No need to renovate completely. Just repair the broken plavon, broken ceramics, and also please pay attention to the cleanliness of the museum collection. Yes, the 'glass box' till dust is very thick. Ya masa' box kaca sampai berdebu sangat tebal.

It's a very historical building in Bogor. It serves you so many historical things, even there is a clothes that our patriot used to wear. Even the blood stains are still there. The entrance fee is very cheap. The place also not that big.

Here’s some photos of our activity. The independence day we celebrate in museum to see about our hero and to know deep. The ticket price so cheaper. About 2-3k rupiah, perhaps. Open for public every Mon-Sat from 10-5 pm.

Museum Perjoangan Bogor was established through the consultation of warrior figures the Bogor residency which includes the city and district Bogor, Sukabumi, Cianjur and Depok. Initiated and inaugurated by Major Ishak Djuarsah on November 10, 1957. The Establishment Museum is intended to pass on the spirit and fighting spirit and values of struggle to the younger generation. The building used as a museum previously belonged to a Dutch businessman named Wilhelm Gustaf Wissner. Built in 1879 which was originally used as a warehouse for export agricultural commodities before being sent to countries in Europe. During the movement period this building was used by PARINDRA and was later named the Brotherhood Building. Apart from being used as a place for youth movement activities, this building is also used as a place for youth scouting activities, under the banner of the Indonesian Scout Youth Movement, namely Pandu Suryawirawan. In 1942 it was used as a warehouse for the Japanese army to store goods belonging to Dutch internees, then used to welcome and defend Indonesia's independence in 1945. Between 1945-1950 it was used by the Bogor Residency KNI, Gelora Rakyat, Bogor Residency Defense Council, Call Sigen RRI Perjuangan Residency Bogor, GABSI Bogor Branch, and the Bogor District temporary government office. In 1952-1958 owned and occupied by Umar Bin Usman Al Bawahab. It was only on May 20, 1958 that this building was donated by its last owner, Umar Bin Usman Albawahab, to become the museum.

Good place to learn about history. They have real blades, pistols, guns, money, torturing devices from the war against colonial. Some people who cares for this museum tries to keep it in one place (no fund from government), so please help them by coming there.

The place exhibits fire-arms from the 18th-20th century, also close combat weapons and uniforms of the resistance, past curencies and surviving newspapers. A side-note: if you read some of the descriptions of about curencies there, VOC was disolved in 1799 (thus there was no VOC in around 1830's afterwards).

(Translated by Google) The history of this place is quite large as a silent witness of independence it's just that the conditions of the place are very dusty, dirty, and poorly maintained, the entrance fee in my opinion is a bit expensive for 10 thousand to enter only clay2, hopefully in the future get the attention of the government.

When I was in middle school, I came here with 4 or 5 friends. Around 2008/2009, forget it. Right after school time. The atmosphere of the museum is cool, cool, comfortable, the staff are friendly, the museum is not too busy, Inside the smell of wood and humidity is very palpable. Maybe because the museum isn't that big. There is an incident that I still remember btw, on the 2nd floor to be precise, there was a cupboard containing swords/knives/kris. At that time, among my friends, each of us was choosing like that, not based on anything actually because there was just a feeling of interest because the pattern was quite unique. So at that time we were all paying attention one by one, it turned out that one keris/knife was shaking. I didn't understand that at first. Suddenly the cupboard shook. Just thought for a moment about not having an earthquake. Ooohh wow it turns out only 1 cupboard was shaking. And we ran downstairs, btw, at that time, if I wasn't mistaken, the staff asked, then checked upstairs while smiling. Until now, I haven't returned to this museum, but the memories of being here with friends are very pleasant. I hope the museum continues to exist😄
