Five Star View. Forget the old look, dull and dusty rooms, and a long climb to the resort. Enjoy the perfect scenery of Mount Salak. This resort is located inside the Salak-Halimun National Park. The resort was inaugurated in 1991, and had no renovations since then. So bad smell, dusty and sometimes broken facilities are to be anticipated. No wifi nor cellular connection in the room. Poor tv signal as well. But you’re here not for the room. Go out, feel the breeze and ask a guide to take you to 7 nearby waterfalls.

This place is beautifully set on Mount salak within a reserved mountain area. A volcanic crater which takes a 2.5 hours walk up to the spot and 4 beautiful waterfalls within walking distance. Since its a reserved area, you could come across very few people making it the best weekend getaway. Plus : Location and hospitality. Exclusive entry to waterfalls 1 and 2 (Only for javana spa) Minus : Food menu is limited and boring. No mini bar provided in the room. No information center at the reception area for people who would like to hike to the crater or waterfalls. I'd have without hesitation given a 5 star if the food options was good enough. Make your own provisions for food. PS : You don't have to get the beer opener as the key chains to the room serves that purpose. :)

This was one of the hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Right at the edge of halimun salak national park. The place bacame rundown over the years, but the location was unbelievably beautiful. Sadly it has closed down forever

pleasure place on salak mountain peak, alongtime ago many foreign and high class people visit this place as their vacation and relaxation. Now only camping area use for family camp both clasic or campervan

Spacious place to go camping with your community. Placed in the highest spot on the mountain, so you'll be secluded from others camping crowd. Good city view.

Minimum facility, although placed at highest land, the view is quite amaze. Some place are not too suitable for children under 5 yo because steep cliff nearby.

Spacious space for camping and flat ground, nice view you can the light of city in the night.

I think on it's glory time, it is the most luxury resort/hotel/camping ground. But when I went there on dec 2019, the place was not in good shape. It is so old, the paint, the structure, the room, the restaurant. It was so pity. So I guess there must be new management, new renovation so the place will be great again

The resort is inside forest at a hill with breathtaking views. Good place for relaxation. During rainy condition, you may not get internet signal due to remote location but it is good for your internet diet.

The weekend gateway option just at the gate of Gunung Salak and Kawah Ratu. Perfect place before or after the trekking. Friendly staff, good food, clean and peaceful room. Will be back.

I was there many years ago..there are precious memories of this place. Early morning hikes, great spa services, delicious healthy food, charming n friendly service staff. I hope it's still the same.
