The most pictures on Google Maps here (from others) do not show the Pasar Petak Sembilan. Just follow the Jl. Kemenangan Raya till crossing Jl. Pancoran. It's a traditional and colourful street market (not covered or indoor). You feel, smell taste and see the real life of the Chinese community in Jakarta. And try the Indonesian version of the Chinese moon cake with different fillings.

Typical Asian traditional market which is selling fresh vegetables, fruits, meat and poultry, herbs, seafood, even traditional snacks, utensils, and clothes. It's located on the center of Glodok Chinatown, West Jakarta and close to Dharma Bhakti temple. When i was here today before Chinese New Year 2024, this market was so crowded and hectic, some place have bad smell because of bad sanitation.

A very traditional, oldies kind of fresh market. Beware of pickpockets, narrow alley and two-way motorbike passing by. If you have hankering for non-halal food, then it is the right place. At the other corner, you can find the famous Vihara Dharma Bakti, Christian School Ricci and Nasi Ulam Misjaya

Awesome place for local dishes. Go inside the alley, behind Tian Liong store and you will find a lot of food stalls ...Some of them are even hard to be found lately in Jakarta. Make sure you come there with empty stomach.

Crowded and exciting place. You could experience the authenticity of Chinese Jakarta culture in here. You could also find all things that you could bring to the temple. You can also find almost everything to prepare for your chinese annual events. It's a really fun experience. Many photographers also did photohunting in here, but to be honest, the place itself not very safe, so you should be extra careful with your own belongings!

A little walk from Glodok. This is old Chinese town's market place. Food, herbs, snacks, Budha temples are many. Not much of greenery so it will be hot.

One of the most popular traditional markets in the Jakarta region, which offers an array of products and nearby Dharma Bhakti Temple, that was built in 1650.

Ambience is okay, it gets pretty crowded on weekends so it might be hard to find seats and it gets hot especially if its crowded, just dont wear thick clothes here. Food, not all food here are chinese there are some western and indonesian food too, so you get plenty of options. Other than that its fun to explore around this place and its surroundings, there are some alleyways that are worth exploring. Parking is pretty spacious and should be easy to find and close to the spot.
