My favorite place to get soup dumplings in town! The dumpling's skin is thin, and the filling is good, so juicy. They make excellent dumping here, and the quality is consistent. Besides the soup dumplings, I tried pan-fried pork buns, shrimp wonton soup, and sticky rice shumai. They were pretty good. For the main dish, beef with chili pepper and beef chow fun were good. But come here to eat soup dumplings, and I recommend complimenting your meal mostly with other appetizers. The main dishes are okay, but their soup dumplings are superior. Service may be hit or miss. Sometimes the service is good, but sometimes it is minimal and feels rushed.

Joined our friend and his family here for dinner. Thanks to his recommendation otherwise we would never have found this little Shanghainese jewel on a dominantly Korean eatery street! They served good authentic soup dumplings! Ask for the authentic ginger vinegar for your soup dumplings btw. Had a fantastic dinner here, will definitely come back again!

Pretty much everything is delicious here! Xiao long bao might be better in the city, but these are still very good as far as NJ goes. The jellyfish appetizer wasn't as crunchy as I prefer either, but I HIGHLY recommend the cucumbers. Cost is a little on the high side for Chinese food but the quality is miles better than what you'd receive at a typical takeout place. We'll have to come back for the lunch special!

One of my favorite places. I came here on a Saturday night and of course, it was packed. Even though, they took me in and sat me down and it was okay because I was about to eat 2-3 person meal by myself! I ordered crab meat + pork soup dumplings, sesame chicken, and pork fried rice and you bet I finished all of it! I love this place.

I've been getting takeouts during the pandemic. But today is the first time dining in. The soup dumplings and the fried buns are fantastic for dining in. One of the best anywhere. They need to be eaten hot though. The other dishes are fine for takeout. Food is consistently good.

Delicious food!! Had the sesame chicken which was so good 👍 also had their dumplings and lo mein and exceptionally great!!! Definitely recommend and will be back again!!!

This place is sooooo good! I love their crab soup dumplings. 🤤🤤🤤 I went there with my family and the service they give is amazing. The inside is big and clean. The staff is friendly and quick. This is our go to spot for soup dumplings now! 🤩

I needed some soup dumplings and a lot of the spots that serve it in the area are overrated. I saw I had Old Shanghai Soup Dumpling bookmarked so we stopped in on a Saturday at around 2:30. There were still a lot of tables dining at that time. We ordered the crab soup dumplings, pan fried pork buns, spicy house special fried rice, and the crispy chow mein with beef. The soup dumplings were pretty solid. Skin was good, as was the filling. They also leave a whole jar of chili crisp at each table, which I loved. Pork buns were pork buns. They were fine but it’s probably because I’m just not a huge fan of these but hubby loved them. Fried rice had plenty of ingredients and again, chili crisp elevated the flavors. I also enjoyed the chow mein but you have to eat it quick or else it’ll get soggy from all the gravy. The only thing I didn’t like was that it came with a bunch of celery, which I didn’t know. But I did appreciate that there was a ton of veggies overall (Napa cabbage and carrots) but they still didn’t skimp on the beef. Looking forward to my next visit!

Friendly customer service from the host and amazinggggg dumplings at an awesome price. Don’t sleep on the crabs and pork soup dumplings and the sticky rice shuimai - SO GOOD we got two rounds. Bonus points because the condiment plates came with fresh ginger

Good food and service. Soup dumplings were tasty and good size. Fried squid was over cooked. Fried rice, beef chiw fun, eggplants, string beans and crispy noodles were good.

Loved the food, the shrimp wonton soup is tasty, fresh and delicious The scallion pancakes were crispy and amazing!

First time this place, the food is excellent but the service is not friendly at all. It's better to go for an order.
