Great place for kids and adults to cool off. Only $10 for non-residents. Well done, we'll maintained, just a blast

$10 for residents is outrageous for such a small splash pad.

Not everyone has gone "down the shore" on this beautiful Saturday. Quite a few individuals, including ourselves, visited the Elmwood Park Multi-Cultural Festival Street Fair on Market Street to check out vendor markets, interactive activities, art demonstrations, games, and food trucks at an all-in-one-day event. Just in time for lunch, one of us ended up getting a waffle cone with chocolate ice cream and chocolate syrup. From one of the food trucks, Carinderia on Wheels ordered the veggie pancit and veggie spring roll (lumpia). Carinderias (Tagalog: karinderya) are small Filipino 🇵🇭 eating establishments, typically in a market or by the roadside. Pancit is a classic Filipino recipe consisting of an easy stir-fried rice noodle served with snow peas, cabbage, and carrots. It was tasty and not greasy or messy. The spring roll has a crepe-like wrapping and comes with carrots, green beans (string beans), bean sprouts, and cabbage. The accompanying dipping sauce is made from vinegar with some chopped chili, garlic, and soy sauce. It had a kick and complimented the roll. Just a day well spent!

I really like this place to walk a night. There are police officers the entire day and night driving around so it makes you feel really safe. And the place is really light it, the only bad thing is that there is some garbage sometime around the park but we are the ones that have to keep the place clean.

Very nice facility, they have a playground, Softball field, little league field, soccer is also played on these fields. The town opens up the snack stand when the teams of respective sports begin there seasons. The recreation building hosts the recreational town basketball 🏀 leagues, the town uses the building as a Community Center as well.

Their splash Park so-called rules are beyond ridiculous. I understand certain towns do require a fee if you live outside of town If you attend. They charge $10 per child which is fine however requesting an additional $10 for the parent that's taking their child who happens to be under the age of five is extremely ridiculous. Elmwood Park should be ashamed of themselves for charging parents to sit on a bench. Municipal theft at its finest.

Well kept with plenty of recreational activities for all ages. The yearly Easter egg hunt and holiday festival are a great community gathering event as well.
