This restaurant was Recently renovated and their kitchen completely revamped. The food was amazing, i had the Ushtipec (ground meat with provolone cheese and french fries), an authentic dish from Macedonia and Oven Baked Cheese… and a delicious Macchiato to enjoy the rest of the visit.

We are very disappointed with this place especially with the Manger. Our group off 5 people come to have diner on Saturday night and manager said everything is reserved for private party.But wee have reservation for 9 o'clock to attend to the party wee reserved 2 days affront even the person who take reservation ask us did we like small or high table but manager just ignored us and our reservation.We bring our friends to celebrate and try some Balkan food but because one rude person wee failed. Improve your costumer service

Great spot for Balkan food! Located in Garfield NJ, a quick drive from all over northern jersey…and I would say it’s worth it to hop over the river from NYC.

They revamped the place to look much nicer but for a Saturday it was dead. They were supposed to have music, but by 11:30, the singer was sitting at the bar because nobody was inside. The food was much better than the frozen mashed potatoes and sides I had before, but the drinks were completely watered down. When we asked our server to fix the drinks , we were brought two shots of tequila and charged 16 dollars, which they should have just remedied the problem right away. The waiter and other staff were looking at us like we were crazy for complaining. This place definitely overcharges for mediocre service and food. Luckily, I’ll be overseas in a month to have authentic Balkan food and not this Americanized garbage.

The staff is very friendly and cordial, specifically Anya. When I ordered a Piña Colada it came watered down, no coconut milk, no pineapple...in other words horrible Piña Colada, I explained to Anya and she immediately remedied the issue. She made a real Piña Colada, a better than last. For appetizer we had Calamari and it was fantastic! My wife ordered the Homemade Grilled Sausage with yellow rice and vegetables. The sausage was deliciously made, the rice was tender and flavorful, she had a problem with the veggies, she said that it had no flavor and it seems to be from frozen vegetable bags from supermarket. I had the Stuff Pork Chop-stuffed with ham and provolone and covered in mushrooms . I loved my Chop, it was superb, and tender. I also had yellow rice but I had mash potatoes, my mash was cold but tasted good. I would have given Deja Vu 5 out of 5 if the vegetables weren't frozen and my mash was at least warm. But otherwise it was a great experience!

Very bad management and customer service. I made a reservation for five people to celebrate my birthday, I give my information and phone number to the man who spoke with me and took the reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant and said that we had a reservation, the man on the door told us that they were having a private party and that we could not enter. When I asked why they take reservations if they have a private party, he just answered that he didn't take the reservation, but someone else. Unacceptable, I will never go back. At least someone could call me and say they have a party because I give my phone number.

Food was delicious, great atmosphere.Server was helpful and pleasant, but service is a bit slow even though restaurant was not busy.

One of the best places you can visit in Garfield! The restaurant has a wonderful array of traditional Macedonian and Balkan dishes as well as restaurant classics. The service was top notch as the waitress we had was very friendly and also well-versed in the Balkan cuisine. Definitely ask for suggestions on what to eat as they will always be happy to provide them to you. The ambiance was beautiful and modern, giving the feel of luxury as you enjoyed your meals. The restaurant also hosts live music event during the evenings so definitely consider that if you’d like a full Macedonian experience. Overall a wonderful place to eat and I definitely recommend it!

to start off the service is amazing . staff is super helpful and accommodating making sure customers are satisfied. they have a wide selection of food, so there is always something to order for everyone, even those who are more picky than others. they also have live music and restaurant is very spacious and great for a date night, family/friend get togethers. always down to go here and i’m not even from new jersey!

Best food and atmosphere.we enjoyed spending our grandparents 50th anniversary here. The waiters were amazing and so sweet. We had an amazing time. Cant wait to come back for my 51st anniversary. It was just splendid

Great atmosphere, great food , great service !! Very thought out from start to finish , in every aspect. There isn't enough stars for this diamond . Perfect for date night , girls/guys night out or a family dinner. Very comfortable and chic ! Absolutely devine . Perfection from the kitchen bar and staff . Highly recommended .

Great selection of south eastern European food, and everything my friends and I tried was great. The desserts were also really tasty. Cannot attest to the quality of the club portion though, since we were only at the restaurant.

Came here for a birthday with my family. A really friendly atmosphere and everything we ordered was pretty tasty. Server was super nice and helpful. Did not rush us at all. Inside the restaurant is very nicely renovated, and super clean.

The exterior does not do the interior any justice. Beautiful place, great menu, the food is great. My opinion, the cocktails are not that great. But the food, ambience and fiendly staff are.
