DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL!! I booked room through a motel website. It did not say anything about a $50 deposit. I am homeless and unemployed. Other people were paying for the rooms for me. We ended up staying 2 nights. There was only 1 hand towel and a partial roll of toilet paper. We asked for more a couple times. Nothing. Our last morning there the young man with us went to front desk to get more bath towels so 2 of us could take a shower. The management and front desk staff were very rude. Got in a physical pushing fight. They threatened to call the cops and press charges. my party came back to room and said we had to leave. I didn't even get to take a shower. I finished getting dressed and went to front desk to see what was going on. They were very rude to me. I was upset and crying - the manager told me to leave she didn't want any cry babies in her office. Said that we broke the rules. They refused to give my deposit back. Which was the last of my money and was supposed to go in my gas tank. The front desk lady got up close to me and was trying to herd me out the door telling me to leave when I went back in to get receipts for my 2 nights stay and for my $50 deposit. They refused.

Edit: so I left a less than desirable review several months ago about the rudeness and sheer unprofessional experience I had here. I decided to give this place another chance mainly due to the price and how close it was to my ultimate destination. I got a non smoking room this time because I've had nightmares of the last room for awhile now. I checked in... no problems. Got to the room and it was tons better than the one I stayed in before. Very clean smelling, sheets were white, pillow cases were white, bed was in good shape, air conditioner was incredible, and everything worked as it should. Staff was friendly this time around and an overall decent experience. Tub did drip constantly but it didn't bug me much. The problem I have is the sheer inconsistency between experiences. I may come back here if I can get a room like this again and the staff continue to be respectful and courteous. They deserve a bump up in ratings but can't in good conscious give them anywhere close to perfect ratings just yet.

Just a follow-up on my original review. Not only did my doctor confirm that I was attacked by bedbugs, which I was still itching from a full month later after being prescribed steroid medication, the hotel also 1. refused to give me a refund citing ridiculous things like they weren't able to for some computer reason 2. didn't refund me back the deposit on the room 3. charged me an extra night I didn't stay and 3. refused to provide a receipt for my stay so I could get reimbursed by my company. (This was a work trip.) It has been a couple of months now and my company is STILL fighting to get a receipt, my credit card company also still fighting disputing the other charges I mention here. I had to take off weeks of work and cancel a family vacation because the bug itching was so bad for weeks after. I couldn't sleep many nights during that time. I have never in my life encountered such a down right nasty place, so despicable that they won't even provide a receipt for the night that I stayed there. I don't understand how people get away with this kind of thing but I'm also at a loss on how to get legal help here, given that we're talking about <$500. Bed bugs! This place should be shut down. My room reeked like cigarettes and looked like someone got murdered in it recently. I was genuinely scared to stay here, and I don't have very high standards when it comes to hotels. I came to Boise for a professional conference and had to give two talks covered in bed bug bites. I went into anaphylactic shock and could barely function for days. Worst hotel experience I've ever had.

The bed was comfortable. But the room was dingy and dark. No toilet paper in the room. Skimpy on towels. The bathtub was about the size of a foot bath, and the tub had been painted once so looked awful, but then the bright orange water came out and I couldn't believe it. The next morning my husband tried the shower--water hammering in the pipes. The wiring was on the outside of the walls and didn't look like it was very safe. The coffee pot didn't work. Way too expensive for what we got!

DONT STAY HERE. My husband and I wasted money booking this thinking we'd be able to rough it out. We have stayed at motels before but this was on another level. We ended up checking out an hour after we checked in after not being able to handle it. There are no refunds so we wasted the 3 night cost. There were stab marks on the door, the water was brown and the sink did not drain, the room wreaked of cigarette smoke and I mean WREAKED. After seeing the reviews about bed bugs and seeing the place in person we decided it was not worth it to risk it. We ended up cutting our losses and booking at the Holiday Inn Express

I had to leave early the next day to catch an Uber to the airport so I forgot to get my $50. deposit. I came back 3 days later as I was waiting on my car to get repaired, as it broke down going through Boise. I stayed another night there and went to ask about my deposit. The manager said we are keeping it as you didn't check out last time. I told him that the deposit is for the room condition and he has no right to keep it. I will have to take you to court. He said he would return it. I then asked for a 12:00 check out. He said he'd keep the deposit. How about 11:30? Nope, I will keep your deposit. I said I will go get my stuff out of the room and be right back. I came back to get deposit and he said I'm not giving it back. He was on a power trip. So now I have to summon him, his assistant, and the female Indian owner that was there, to court now so they can stand in front of a judge and explain why they acted this way. I will never stay there again. So I will ask the court for my $50. deposit, the $69. filing fee, and any costs to serve the 3 of them! My advice.... don't stay here!

AVOID AVOID AVOID. I had to give it 1 star just so I could post. I wish negative stars was a thing. Honestly, just save yourself the $$$, time and hassle. The owner/manager lady is a very angry unhappy shrew of a woman. I'll give you a few places better and cheaper than this: Prison, the street, the alley behind the liquor store, any cemetery, the trunk of a small car.... all places I would rather stay than here. I wouldn't even use a toilet here in an absolute emergency. This place should be condemned, burnt to the ground to destroy all the scabies that infest the place and turn it into a parking lot. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. 2 GREAT BIG THUMBS DOWN.

I requested a room non smoking and switched from a smoking in the first five minutes I got their...apparently this justified the india female owner to not give my deposit back the next morning....little does she realize that I recorded everything...including her assistant manager admitting fault when I asked him to come out the second time and that he would refund the money out of his own pocket.....he he he....If they fight visa when I contest this charge...the Police will be involved...cause by reading all these reviews...I know she is scamming multiple people...It will be enough for a class action...

Horrible place to stay. I paid the room on a motel website (travelocity) for three nights. Paid up front on the website for myself, son and dog 289.00. Got there and they wanted to charge a 50.00 deposit (which I did not get back) and set us up with a room with one bed. Charged another 20.00 per night for a room with two beds. The bedding had stains and holes in the comforters. TV didn't work. Wanted me to pay a total with the deposit, three nights with my dog, and to move to a room with 2 beds on top of what I paid in the motel website of 289.00. So....60.00 plus 75.00 plus 50.00 so an added 180 making the whole thing a total price of 460!!!!! If you have that kind if money laying around, go stay at something much better like, holiday Inn, best Western or anything like that as you would get much better service as well.

Worst front desk management EVER! Rude, advertised allows pets but only dogs kncevyou check in, wouldn't let me check out because someone was not awake at 7:30am to check my room to get my $30 deposit back. They don't advertise that either. Then they finally open up at 8 am and the manager lady yells at me" I told yoh to wait until F&$king 8 am" who in the holy world heck does she think she is? Rooms are smelly and from the 1950's they look NOTHING like the pictures. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone! Awful awful awful customer service.!!!!!!

The Owner does not know how to communicate effectively - was quoted $102+taxes and was charged $169 - would not give us the $50 deposit back as we called to late in the same day we checked out? They do not know how to accommodate the guests that pay to stay in their not so nice establishment. I beg you - FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. Awful management/ownership.

Just don’t do it. There were 3 holes that looked like some kind of stab marks (wolverine, that you?) through the door. One of the lamps wouldn’t turn on so I checked if it was plugged in and the outlet was hanging off the wall with exposed wires. There was some kind of glow-in-the-dark paint dripping down one wall. The floors and shower were so gross I wore my flip flops the whole time. I was just needing a quick overnight stay but this was awful

Refuses to cancel my stay. Booking was 3 nights and I'm checking out after the first. This chick is so unprofessional (the owner I think) if you check other reviews it shows she likes to yell at customers. Got my money back but doesn't feel enough. She need to be shut down.

Well if you are just looking for a place to lay you head this is a great place for the price. The staff was very friendly! Everything was very clean. Huge positive note is the rooms are so quiet I couldnt hear anyone talking right outside our door. Though the door itself had a huge crack in a panel that could see daylight through my son said the door looks like it had been kicked in and broken.

Room was dirty and full of water damage. Deadbolt lock on the door was broken and shower did not even turn on. When I called the office to let them know of the problems, they said, β€œwedge the chair under the door and if the chair doesn’t work, use the foot.” I thankfully read other reviews and knew to go into the office to get my deposit back! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Extremely rude tried to ask me to leave before I even explained that I was checking in. I ordered the cheapest room I could find and they started screaming at me because that room happened to have 2 beds which is not my fault as it was the cheapest and I could not afford more. They threatened my friend who was dropping me off and threatened the police without giving me my refund This place HAS and WILL keep your $50 deposit with no given reason

This place is weird. The linens were very dirty. I itched constantly while in the them, to the point I couldn't sleep and had to check out. The bathroom smelled of urine. The shower pressure was actually good. I would not recommend this place. The check in process felt weird. I was told they needed everyone's ID who was over 18 to check in. It felt sketchy. I would avoid this place until they get it together.

It saddens me to see all of these negative comments on here. I went over yesterday to see about possible employment. The staff was amazing especially, Jodi. She was very kind and helpful. She really knew her customers and how they wanted things. The manager/owner of the hotel, was so no judgemental. She didn't even blink an eye at me when I explained my situation! She was very warm and empathetic. She was very upfront and straight to the point. Just what I needed. I am happy to say, I walked out of there with a new job! I am excited to see just how the new convient U-Haul location is going to help this already established business. Anyone who has lived in this area knows that with growth of a community means longer driving time. And I am so excited that having this new U-Haul location here will make life so much easier for people on this side of town. You can't always judge a book by its cover!

Do not get a room here. The pics online are not how the rooms look. Very deceiving. The rooms are disgusting. We walked in and walked right out. Complained at the front desk and the lady said she knew that the pics do not show all the rooms and how they look. Knowing how the pics are posted and still scamming people to get rooms there. Horrible way to run a buisness. Stay away

We came here because the price said $80, and the pictures looked much nicer than they are. The price ended up being $120 with a $50 deposit. The room smelled like old cigarette smoke, the sheets were scratchy , and the ac did absolutely nothing. We had the ac on full blast and we we’re still sweating. The toilet was super loud, and the water in the shower smelled funky.

With as many bad reviews this place has I am surprised that any of the travel agency's still back them. Why do you? She is an awful nasty person. The place is below any standards. You should not be expected to stay in such gross surroundings because u can't afford to pay 100 a night. You can tell by the motel that any money she makes does not go back into her business. She does not even supply toilet paper. She counts on travel agencies to rent out her nasty rooms . With her nasty ugly attitude she would not be able to do it without them. You do it why?

All things considered I was looking for a spot simply to sleep and nothing more and realistically I got more than I was looking for in the sense that my boss was paying for the room as he does when we have work down in Boise. When we checked in, it took no more than a phone call and me and my coworker were in the room with not a second question. The section we stayed in I scheduled for demo so they allow smoking in the rooms. The location is perfect for not wanting to spend very much money. All in all if you don't mind the location and are trying to save money this is the hit.

  • 1/5 Nick L. 11 months ago on Google
In order to get your deposit back you have to check out at 11. No where does it say you have to come to the front desk to check out on her whiteboard in the office. It just says check out at 11am. She is claiming i have to go to the office. Since when is that justifyable to steal someones money. I've stayed at alot of hotels and you can just leave and that's considered a check out. DO NOT STAY HERE. THE OWNER HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHE IS NOT A GOOD PERSON.

Best sleep I have had at a motel in a long time. The room was comfortable. The staff is awesome. I have a feeling that most of the negative comments and one star reviews are from people that did not show any respect in the first place, or tried to pull a fast one on management. This place is better than the more affordable discount chains. There is also a breakfast and lunch diner on site, or McDonald's around the corner if you can stand that "food".

The lady that runs the motel has no customer service skills what-so-ever. She is hateful & didn't allow us to have visitors stop by to see us. Paid for a month & she threatened to kick us out without a refund.... She watches her cameras & spy's on what people are doing - then comes to the room & yelled at us. Not a "FUN" place to stay - very stressful always worrying that we would kicked out & lose a lot of money.

The owner is rude and not willing to refund my$30 deposit, because no one was at the front desk at 6am, she told me to stop harassing her!!! Excuse me? You are charging me money that I'm entitled to get back for not causing damage. Find another cheap place to stay that isn't run by a psycho.

If I could give a negative star review I absolutely would! I have never experienced such an unprofessional encounter in any establishment. My daughter is a student at Boise state and while down visiting for parents weekend I selected this hotel mostly for the price and location. My daughter and her childhood friend met us at the hotel as we prepared to go see the sites and I was verbally assaulted by the owner of all people who screamed at me for having people there I can understand not wanting to turn this disgusting hotel into a trap but there was absolutely no understanding in this woman. She proceeded to call me a liar when I informed her that I was given the rules. She accused us of smoking weed (with the door and curtains open) and was screaming at the top of her lungs. If that wasn’t bad enough when I went in the next day to let them know I would have a vehicle with me trying to avoid any further alterations she was screaming at an employee and didn’t miss a beat to start back in on me. That alone would have me tell people this is not the place to go but also the room was disgusting. There was still urine on the toilet the shower handle was broken as well as the lamp shade. The entire experience was horrible and the owner is the most unprofessional and disrespectful person I have encountered. She kept my deposit for having my daughter in the room. I would absolutely say AVOID SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE!

Lady at the desk was cool , and friendly , kinda cute too πŸ˜‰. For 80$ it' could be worse. Winter time the homeless California's don't go outside to much so it' was quite . Room was a little cold til heat ran for a few hours. Outlet plugs don't hold plug well at all that is probably my biggest issue honestly. iI HATE LOOSE OUTLET SOCKETS... Kind that your charger brick falls outta while you are asleep and doesn'nt charge your phone.!!

  • 5/5 Knightwulf71 1 year ago on Google
It's bare bones but clean. The manager was great very friendly and professional. I can't say the same for the owner, who seemed to pride herself in being rude and loud. But other than that it was a pleasant experience. If you're on a budget and need a centralized location I'd highly recommend this establishment.
