Absolutely beautiful park. So much fun to go paddle boating here! Totally worth the small fee you pay to use the boats and cruise around.

Beautiful park. Am from Modesto and was traveling through. If I had a park like this in my own town. I would grab a blanket and sit and sing and worship God. Read a book. Sip a coffee and enjoy my surroundings. 💗

The park has least 2 museums, rose garden, paddle boat rentals, horseshoes, tennis, zoo, and more. Great for a stroll around, bicycle , play a sport, and so forth. The parking is 2 hr limit there.

Beautiful park!! Highly recommend renting the electric scooters and cruising around all the trails. Worth every penny! So much to do here. Saw people out paddle boarding, kayaking, walking, running, swimming, fishing, biking, picnicking, even wake-surfing! Such a pretty place with giant trees, river views, green grass and views to spare.

The rose garden is beautiful! Still blooming in October. And it's free! So go here instead of a botanical garden that will charge admission.

Great place to bring your dog. Lots of hippies with man buns (joysticks) California moving in. Time to get out before they ruin our state, too.

Beautiful place for a gathering. We saw Opera in the Park at the Gene Harris bandshell. Sound was fabulous, the people were so relaxed and happy. Even the kids had a good time. Bathrooms were just behind the berm of the grass amphitheater. Very clean. No towels but there was soap and water. And as always in Boise, the trees were magnificent and provided alot of shade.

Wonderful place to walk, meditate, jog, walk, take pictures, have a picnic, or just sit and chill. Short walk to many stores and restaurants. Easy access to the greenbelt and Boise river. Rental scooters and bikes everywhere.

Julia Davis Park is great. Nice easy afternoon walking along the river. The restrooms could use more attention. Zoo boise, the discovery center are along the way. Mind your lane and look for people on bikes, people with kids or dogs.

I've been going to this park since I was a little girl. This is my favorite park because of its large shade trees, ponds, paddle boats, ducks, and geese. The Boise River runs right next to it with bike paths. the Boise art museum, band shell, rose garden, playgrounds, the Idaho Historical museum, and Zoo Boise. There's also other events held here like "Art in the Park", with vendors and food trucks. The park always provides plenty of Porta-pottys and information booths. There are plenty of parking areas and shuttles provided for special events. I feel safe when I visit. It's a great place to spend the day.

This is a wonderful park with walk/bike trails and good access. The only view of the Boise river is at a bridge. Great way to get some exercise on a Sunday morning.

This once was a really nice park. Very clean and well kept. Unfortunately, when liberal policies are pushed, so goes the area. Homeless people hangout at the park and you now have to watch for trash thrown around. This park is okay during the day, but I wouldn’t recommend walking around at night. If you park your car, park near the museum as the the lighting is better. The zoo area is also nice. If you need to get to the university, stay on Capitol or walk along the river path and that will get you to BSU. Boise Police does a great job patrolling the area, so you’ll see them often.

One of my absolute favorite parks in Boise! The trees are huge and beautiful and they create wonderful shade on a sunny day. Centrally located next to Zoo Boise, the museum and BSU. A walk on the path next to the river is beautiful and peaceful. Every year our church has a ginormous picnic followed by baptism in the river. This year we expected about 60 people getting baptized, there were hundreds. what an experience!

I visited the park but did not explore it. There are lots of different things there. I visited the rose garden, I crossed the bridge over the river, I passed by the entrance to the zoo and by the statue of Abraham Lincoln. Just walking around was relaxing and pleasant. Unfortunately, there were also a lot of misguided souls/predators who look at/follow/hound you as if you were their prey. One even stank up an area I was walking with what they assume is desirable. Not really! So, I cut my visit short.

Alot of great places to go within the park--history museums, art museum, zoo, Discovery Center and even the library across the street. There is also the green belt and huge old trees with interspersed picnic tables and a rose garden and ponds. Many local activities are held here like the living history museum day and more.

This has always been one of my favorite parks in Boise. The rose garden, zoo, big beautiful trees, sit by the river. It’s very clean and lots of shade.

Beautifully manicured spaces, with geese, ducks and man made lakes... Even romantic paddle boats. Tennis courts, and open spaces for picnics and sports.

What a treasure to have in the middle of a city! Yet another park that makes up a portion of the Boise River Greenbelt. Julia Davis Park has something to thrill everyone! There is a rose garden, a zoo, an amphitheater, barbecue pits, picnic shelters, spots to fish, swim, bathe in the river, wash your clothes in the river, you can exchange hisses with the feisty geese, etc. The friendly houseless neighbors that chill near the restrooms will volunteer to tell you which restroom is unlocked so you don’t waste your time foolishly pulling on doors that are locked. If you smoke, bum em one for the trouble. I was really holding onto hope that this would be the park in Boise that would have communal showers, but alas my hopes were dashed upon the rocks on the banks of the mighty Boise River.

We've been here a few times this summer, it's a nice park with the zoo in the same parking area. You can enter the greenbelt and go right or left for quite a while. Good central location in the city.

Only got to walk around for about a half hour, walking trail was clean and lots of people using it. The ducks and the geese were cool. The bathrooms were dirty and my wife felt uncomfortable using them. Seems patrolled often. Felt very safe.

Just biking and found a good spot next to the river and set up a comfy spot for a few hours. Really a well kept location and great scenery.

Held our Day 2 event of BOISE HIGH SCHOOL 45th Class Reunion at the BOISE - Pavilion. Nice and shady, loved the 3x3 table setup. Lots of room and shady!! Did I mention how quiet it was behind the zoo and near the paddle boats?

This is my favorite place to go in Boise, the rose garden is absolutely exquisite. The roses were in full bloom and it was shady in the morning not too hot yet.

I don't really know Julia Davis Park but I went to a Boise Hemp Fest and that was cool. I gained knowledge, got a ton of free gear, took pics with ppl, they had entertainment, music, food, mechanical bullriding, art. The park itself seemed big.
