Mokodo is a pizza experience. They serve probably one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted: thin crust, excellent toppings with explosive flavors and cheese galore… lots and lots of cheese. The Quattro Formaggi a pizza to die for and one I make sure to order every single time I’m there. Chef Tesfaye also gives a pizza dough toss show sometimes which is entertaining. The best pizza spot in Addis!

I can't stop recommending this place, it has a warm feel and very accommodating the pizza tastes really good (one of the best pizza places in Addis), and the vibe is awesome!!!

Great pizza, the buffalo was really delicious, the pesto was nice but I am an olive snob and the olives weren’t great. I went late afternoon and it was very empty.

BEST PIZZA IN ADDIS hands down!! It’s so flavorful, so light, just so amazing. I highly recommend you dine in rather than takeaway. It’s doesn’t have the same flavor when cooled down. The taste is genuinely worth the price.

Their pizza is so great. Their service is just as good. The place is always clean. Love coming here because I know I’ll never leave disappointed. If you haven’t been you totally should. I went there a few times during the Easter fast, and there was tasty vegan dishes for you to enjoy. Only thing is the place is quite small, so you can’t really have intimate conversations (this is not a place for you to meet ppl and try to discuss some drama).. hopefully everyone’s goes to Mokodo’s so they get an even bigger place (so we can discuss the drama)🙂

After enjoying it at the Atmosphere for a long time I finally made it to Mokodo’s main branch. The place is off a ring road and does not have a lot of parking but it was quiet evening so we had no problem parking. Only 4 of their tables were occupied when we went in and they took our orders soon after we sat down. The pizzas took some 25 minutes to be served but were nice and tasty, except for the more doughy (less crispy) base. Besides that I was told that they do not serve beer which means that I will have to go to Atmosphere in the future. One thing that was not great was the toilet - I suggest they give it some attention.

I was introduced to this restaurant by Italians and if they say its the best pizza in town, I believe them. Highly reccomended!!!
