I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delightful, and the service was exceptional. Our waiter, Barnabas Kassa, was particularly impressive—his humility and kindness truly stood out. He knows how to treat customers with the utmost care and respect. We left feeling very happy and satisfied with both the food and the service. Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience!

It was a really disappointing experience. The tagliatelle was dry, and the fish had an unpleasant, almost off-putting taste. We couldn’t finish the meal and ended up leaving most of it untouched. We told the waiter the food wasn’t good—she said she’d taste it and come back, but she never did. Eventually, she brought us the overpriced bill without acknowledging the issue at all. I really don't recommend this place.

Amazing food, excellent service, and a perfect atmosphere!

Golden Plate Restaurant offers a classy atmosphere with exceptional hospitality. The food is amazing, and they even serve a complimentary appetizer, making the experience truly memorable.

Meat and sizzling is always a good idea, but pay attention and don't leave your meat too much on the hot surface. The service was great. It is served with teriyaki and white sauce. Both great taste but white sauces are too much liquid, if they make it like a deep It'll be better. They don't have tiramisu. I tried a cake, what pastry and cream pâtisserie should be done with a better recipe.

The ambience was soothing and calm. It’s more of a fine dining but the food was really good. Very flavor and delicious. We order the family size (a combo of beef, chicken, and fish with pasta) and the grilled chicken. Everything was presented very professional. All in all, it was a good experience.

The lasagna is a bit dry but the steak is fine. The service is exceptional.

Bottom line: I’m eager to go back to this delightful place. The food, not including the dessert, was a culinary treat. The kitchen has skillz. So why not a 5? Two things: 1) The tenderloin I ordered was tasty, but super chewy. My jaws got a workout. I’m not a beef expert, but I knew that wasn’t ok. 2a) My wife and I ordered 2 desserts at a combined cost of nearly 1,000 ETB. The tiramisu had whipped cream on top that tasted of chemicals. The cake itself wasn’t so good either. The chocolate mousse tasted like it had double the sugar required. And the texture wasn’t good. 2b) The servers and manager were all wonderful, a cut above. That’s why I was disappointed at the manager’s handling of our situation. He wasn’t rude or anything, but he only gave a friendly verbal apology about the desserts. He could see we didn’t even eat half of them and that we had a legit complaint, but he did nothing to rectify it. The items still appeared on our bill (expensive desserts!), and no attempts were made to give us alternative items. Even if he had said, “Sorry, I can’t remove the items from your bill, but I’ll have the kitchen make a fruit salad for you as a sign of apology,” that wouldn’t made a world of difference. It sucks this negative experience was my final experience for what had been a wonderful evening.
