Such a cute concept for a coffee shop! We love the Aviation theme, super different compared to any other shop which makes this place truly spectacular. Owner Maria and her dog Simon opened up two months ago in Lincoln Square, taking over the previous Vom Fass location. Maria is incredibly warm, kind, and considerate. She gave us the history of how her concept came to be, explained how she got certain aviation materials such as the seats and when the parts went out of commission. I truly believe in her vision for the shop and am excited to see what happens next—perhaps she will expand the coffee bar area along with an alcohol bar. Now for the coffee, oh my god it was great. I tried the Ferrero roche coffee and my husband got the espresso which comes as a double. My coffee was excellent and beautifully presented. My husband loved the espresso and said it made him feel like he was back in Europe. Also of note, even the bathroom is aviation themed! Highly recommend checking this place out it’s well worth your money and time.

Brand new coffee spot on the Lincoln Square strip is themed with old plane memorabilia, including a set of real airline seats and overhead compartments. Cute touches blend historic plane models and historic navy pilot parachutes as lighting fixtures, and runway painted on the ceiling. Drip coffee was a medium-dark Brazilian, balanced and i liked the for-here mugs. Blueberry cheesecake danish was delicious. Owner told me she expects to expand the space to connect to her adjoining boutique which sounds awesome. Owner is an artist and said she did a lot of the art and design herself

Great new cafe in the heart of Lincoln Square, with impeccable vibes - there's no other cafe I've seen with such a great sense of decor, and there's plenty of room to do some reading or work!

This aviation-themed shop is so unique and fun! Lots of old plane artifacts and decor including a cockpit dashboard, maps, fuselage panels, wings as tables, propellers, a runway painted on the ceiling, and actual airline seats and overhead compartments! Easy-listening funk soul reggae background music mashup, super nice owner, and really delicious (cherry amaretto!) latte and danish. Really great place!

Had a wonderful experience my first time at City Skyline. Had a tasty ice tea and look forward to being back for coffee. The atmosphere incredible with really unique airplane and travel decorations. The staff was incredibly friendly and fielded lots of questions from customers. I took a few zoom calls and had no problem with WiFi!

I just stopped in for the second time and had to leave a review. The space is adorable, the woman behind the counter (the owner?) was friendly, and the little dog running around was the cutest. But the best part is the gingerbread latte I ordered. Unlike what you might get at a lot of other coffee shops (specifically Starbucks), this one wasn’t too sweet and still tasted like coffee, with a good amount of gingerbread. Plus it was served with a little gingerbread cookie on top. I’ll definitely be back!

We found this adorable aviation themed coffee shop on NYE! The coffee tasted amazing and the owner was so sweet and told us all about the shop and even gave us a tour. Not to mention, she has an adorable dog you can pet while you drink your coffee. Go visit!!

Went for the first time today. I really only drink black drip coffee. Theirs was great and for some reason there was a chocolate chip cookie on the lid! That was great too. All the best, City Skyline! Welcome to the neighborhood.

I love this new coffee shop in the heart of the Square! I’ve been twice, iced coffee the first time and hot vanilla latte the second and they have both been fantastic. The owner and staff are so sweet - go support this local coffee shop - you won’t regret it! 😊

Really cute place and I’m excited for the potential! They are super new, and when I went, staff was still training for lattes and coffee creation. Unfortunately, what I had was not good- a decaf latte. I’m going to go back in a month and hope things are a bit more smooth :)

Maria, the owner, is lovely and the coffee shop, even in its soft opening phase, is a gem of the Lincoln Square neighborhood. The ambiance and style of the place is exceptional, and the curated selection of teas is something very much worth checking out. Recommend it very highly.
