Chicken Lit easily takes the top spot in Naperville for fried chicken in my books. The owner and chef Michael takes pride in his craft with the standard that "if I won't feed it to my children I won't sell it." This is why he highlights that the color of his chicken is light, not dark. Because a lighter color indicates a fresh oil! Our family has been coming to Chicken Lit frequently and we can't get enough of the tenders and wings! Their chicken burger is also really delicious. The house sauce YUMMY also defines their food, YUMMY!

Delicious chicken & excellent service! If you are looking to support a local, family owned business & enjoy your meal- this is the place!! The wings with or without lemon pepper are great. The yummy sauce is delicious! Highly recommended! Just make sure you order ahead of time if you don’t want to wait. Since it’s made fresh to order, it can take some time, especially when they are busy. And you can support the daughter by purchasing a piece of her artwork :)

I absolutely loved my time at Chicken Lit today! The yummi sauce blew me away with how delicious it was, and the buffalo was very yummy too. The owner was very sociable and friendly towards my girlfriend and I. He has made a new loyal customer, as I will be going back!

I ordered the 4 piece wings and cheese curds. I really liked the size of the wings because most chicken places nowadays seem to have dwarf wings there so small. I noticed that a customer was given a discount for paying cash and I asked the owner. He confirmed that it is indeed a discount for paying cash. Because of the honesty of the owner and the quality of the food, I will definitely be going back. This is a gem in neighborhood.

I came with expectations of good chicken wings based on local reviews. I was not disappointed! Everything we tried was delicious! Chicken fried hard, just right and a great assortment of sauces. I love that he offers 2 sauces with an order too, not just one. This is a tiny place, not fancy at all and maybe even a bit cluttered, but my goodness the owner made us feel like we were invited to his home for a meal. He served our food, made recommendations, educated us on how he makes his profit (transparency) and still maintained to take other in OMG lunch orders and make EVERYONE feel like a personal friend. My sisters and I will become regulars, I'm sure of it! This wasn't just lunch it was a community experience. Well done!

Very very good food. The customer service was amazing. The owner I think he was very nice to me. I will definitely be going back as the prices are very good. It is better than canes.

This was my first time at this place and I got the 7 piece chicken tender combo. I'd say the price is competitive compared to other stores. It comes with 2 types of sauces, tenders and fries. I was expecting small tenders like most restaurants, but these were huge. Breading was crispy and the chicken was the juiciest I've ever had. The owner was also very friendly :) I'll definitely be back.

The very best chicken / chicken tenders I’ve ever eaten!! Mostly every Wednesday me and the fam will pick up a 20 piece tenders. If you’ve never tried, this is a must must!! Owner and his family are awesome and the atmosphere is relaxed.
