Was the first time we ate here in the 9+ years I've lived in Battle Creek and I can't believe I haven't eaten here SOONER! The food was really, really good I got the #8 signature sub and my wife got a Cobb salad they were delicious! Lady's in the back making the food and taking our order were super nice. Recommend this place highly! We shall return!

This is why I've started exploring local restaurants around the Battle Creek area. After a fine review from Brodericks bites I thought I would give it a shot. After listening to recommendations, I decided on their grilled rueben. It was the perfect combination of freshness with crisp grilled bread, savory corned beef, tangy saurkraute, melty swiss, and a very commendable house made 1000 island. I use ruebens as i way to arbitrarily judge a sandwich place. It was everything I expected and more. I can't wait to come back and experience more of the menu. Lots of sandwich at a fair price, comparable to the national chains we all know about. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!!!

Moved to BC a few months ago. First time I wondered into this hidden gem. Staff was warm, friendly and inviting. Food was unbelievable for the price. A $10 sub here actually is bigger and better than the fake pictures the chain sub-store put up - which their real sandwiches are even smaller.

The food was really good and they didn't skimp on any meats. I will go back each time I'm in the area.

Came here after a co worker told me about it yesterday. I didn't realize it's so close to where I work, so I tried it out today. Interior: It's small, but the interior is clean and well organized. Service: Great! Service with a smile and made sure my table was cleared before I left. Food: The sub was great! I got the "Number 13" sub, which is Genoa, Capicola, Mortadella and Provolone. It was delicious and perfectly proportioned! It actually had a decent amount of meat on it, which I appreciated. The soup was just okay. I would definitely say it's great value for the money!

These subs are the best. The bread is always fresh and they don't skimp on the meat. BC Subs is my new best sandwich place.

Ordered a couple platters for my wedding party as we got ready. The turkey club & signature 8 (kinda like a spicy Italian) we're amazing. Delivery service was outstanding

First time at BC Subs today. Good food, great friendly service, and a nice atmosphere.

My last two experiences have not been good. Today my salad was made wrong and was also missing the egg. I asked them to add it and the girl who went from handling cash and answering the phone, grabbed the egg (without washing her hands) and put it through the slicer. I kindly asked if she could wear gloves when handling the food and she did for the second egg she sliced but you would think they would have had the courtesy to remake it at that point. When I called she claimed to be the manager, I would hope a manager would know basic food safety. The second salad was for a friend so I didn't realize hers was also missing half the ingredients until she received it. I really love this place and try to be understanding of new staff member and new changes. Double check your orders before leaving. Hopefully they’re able to get back on track!

The owner was quite nice and open. Menu was easy to understand with a plethora of sandwich options! Been here several times but recently had the California Reuben, mouth watering good. Such a delicious and cheap sandwich shop here in town. Quick and clean service!

Ehh Ask 4 a hot Turkey sub. & They Microwaved it , it was warm .. I think if they didn't use PROCESSED turkey & took a couple hrs to roast a turkey breast . It would b a better sandwich... & use REAL bacon , not whatever that was my sandwich 🙃

Small mom and pop sub shop, the food taste fresh, and was delicious. Six years in Battle Creek, and the first time trying this place out. I will definitely be coming back.

It was great… we need one in Marshall. With the new factory coming it would be a GREAT idea.

When I call they know me by name and that's awesome and there food is BEST in Battle Creek.

This is a great sub shop. The staff are very customer focused and the food is fantastic. We happened to be passing thru Battle Creek and are happy that we found this place. It is worth the trip.

Wow. First they mistakenly put meat on a salad when specifically told not to. After we told them the mistake, they took the salad back and scraped *most* of the lamb off.

Really great food and the service has always been very good! I would highly recommend BC Subs to anyone that may be in the area. My only complaint is they don’t seem to be consistent with their hours. I tried stopping in yesterday (Saturday). The website said they are open on Saturdays. They were not open. I am not on social media and maybe I missed something on their website, but I didn’t see anything showing they were closed. It would be nice if they put a small disclaimer on their website if they happen to be closed during normal hours.
