Good food, fast service, decent price. I've never had the shrimp cocktail so I was glad it tasted good. The lengua sope was delicious too.

$26 for two skillets. Not enough meat, no seasoning, the pepper was put in by me. Oh and hot sauce. It would be great for a senior on a healthy diet. Dude is to confident for his trash food. Sorry, not sorry.

The owner seems really nice but this is just judging the food and the food is not authentic or good in my opinion. Meat is not really steak steak like authentic Mexican restaurants would serve arrachera(skirt) or similar, they take the shortcut here and use like cheaper bistec and it's in like little pieces and sort of tastes like ground beef. For 3 dollars a taco I feel robbed. The Al pastor doesn't have much flavor and the rice was probably the worst of all. The beans were fine and did taste good. They serve so many different things like burgers and breakfast that i think it works against them and they need to focus on making they're main dishes aka the Mexican food better. Overall would not eat here again especially when taco dale is down the road and they are really good, meat is skirt steak and they're more authentic in my opinion. Of course try it and judge for yourself.

The food here is on another level. The made at home comfort food kind of food. Everything I've eaten here has been amazing. My favorite item on the menu has got to be the Ruby's skillet with steak. If you're looking for a good meal come here!

I went in for some take out, and the lady taking my order was very sweet, and made a few suggestions, and the price was good. The breakfast burrito was good, but for $9 it was kind of expensive. A full breakfast skillet was around the same price and much more filling. But both the skillet and the burrito were amazing! I am more than happy to admit that I am becoming a regular at this place. If friends or family come into town, I will be taking them here for sure!

Came on a Friday at 1:30 pm and half the restaurant was closed… I think the American breakfast side which is were I was hoping to order from. I ended up getting huevos con jamón a typical Mexican breakfast and it was not good nor authentic. The rice is extremely orange looks like it’s cooked off a box of rice, beans tasted like they came from a can. My partner ordered chilaquiles and at almost $20 I figured the dish was good, but nope. Very unimpressed. Not authentic, not tasty, but definitely expensive. To each their own but I won’t be eating here again. $46 for these 2 dishes, a coke and a water.

Food was terrible, I've eaten there twice now. Bland, old tasting, and just not good. The 2nd time I was there I ordered water to drink. The waitress asked if I wanted ice water or water in a bottle, I said ice water please. When she brought it out it looked OK but when I tasted it, it was awful, thick, and grainy. So when she came back with the food I asked for a sprite, she laughed and said "ya the water is not too good, right?" I almost fell out of my chair. Why would you serve it? Why is it not too good? So many unanswered questions that will remain that way because I am never going back.

Called asking if they offered any discounts for large sizes orders, the gentleman who answered told me to go to tacobell for deals and hung up the phone call. Didnt meant to insult the man, just was curious if they did anything special for large orders (Maybe some chips or a larger container of salsa). Upsetting because I wanted to try this place out and wouldve considered it regardless of pricing or deals. I was just curious. Simple no works. Its a shame trying to help out local small businesses to only receive rude comments and to be hung up on.

Love these small restaurants. Great food! Large buritos. I had the Taco salad with beef, could not finish it all. Wonderful experience.

Came in not long after open for breakfast on a quiet Saturday morning. I was seated promptly and my order taken. I customized the chicken skillet by adding bacon, broccoli and green peppers. Also added a side of bacon. Not a problem at all! My food came quickly and was exactly what I had asked for. Big portion on the skillet, eggs well scrambled and my crispy bacon side spot on. I have come to Ruby's Pancake House for breakfast on and off across a few years and I continue to enjoy the experience and the value. I'm so pleased they have survived the pandemic and can't wait to stop in here for years to come. Sisco Cotto of WBBM news radio enjoys stopping in here, as well!

Great little unassuming spot. Got the chilaquiles steak special and it was authentic and the green sauce was surprisingly balanced, flavorful, and had perfect heat. Prices were good, dining room was clean and tidy and had the cozy vinyl rolling chairs that made you feel like you visited a great aunts kitchen.

I have been getting food from Ruby's for over 10 years. I love the employees and the food! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because every now and then my Chorizo and eggs are a little bit to over cooked for my liking. But besides that I never have any complaints.

The food is absolutely delicious. Always greeted with a friendly smile and a hello. That's why we keeping going back, best Mexican food in town. The egg and chorizo tacos are incredible.

One of the best Mexican places to eat in Romeoville. Authentic Mexican food, friendly staff and service. Good burritos, tortas, and other Mexican dishes. They even have a breakfast place next door. I recommend this place.

Ruby's is one of my favorite restaurants and been going to them since they've been opened. I live in Plainfield now but will take the drive for the food. The food is great, and they're not stingy on the portions either. Staff are always friendly and will always have friendly conversations with you while ordering.

Great food and service. The red sauce is a pleasant gamble on how hot it's going to be today. Overall size and seating has an impact on the atmosphere. Small wobbly tables and chairs. One TV for guests and setup so only a couple of tables can see it.

food was ok nothing outstanding or great I ordered steak chimichanga a salad and coffee an the meat tasted old in my chimichanga. The service was super nice/delightful. The bill way too expensive for me $48 for two guys not including tip was ridiculous. I doubt I'm going back just because of cost alone! It's a shame cause it's 5 minutes from my work and there open when I get off at 6am.

Shared a meal with my guy. Very good chicken taco, the steak and pork tacos were good as well. The shrimp cervache was outstanding, and I dont normally care for shrimp! Fast service friendly staff.

Friendly service, 5 stars to the server. But the food was not very good. The steak taco was pretty good, but carnitas and al pastor we're pretty bad. Rice and beans were not good either. Overall would not recommend the Burrito, not sure how the pancake house it though.
