Great toy store with a huge selection Classic Toys as well as lots of options for children of all ages. I also love that they have a huge selection of puzzles. They have Ravensberger puzzles and I can attest that they are the highest quality puzzles you can buy. The colors are beautiful and the laser cut pieces are sharp and interesting.

This is by far the greatest toy store. The selection is outstanding & the prices were incredibly reasonable for an independent store. I stopped in, just by chance, to look for a little something for my son. The owner, Simone, went above & beyond to help me find just the right something for my special-needs son. I didn’t have a lot of cash on me at the time, as I hadn’t intended on shopping for him when I decided to take a little walk. But she treated me as if I were buying the whole store & truly made my day by taking her time to talk to me about her own experiences. She showed me all kinds of things & explained how they may be beneficial to my son. She even gift wrapped the things I selected to make it extra special for him. I can’t wait to go back again & cant thank Simone enough for being so incredibly kind. This is the kind of local business you want to support!

Came in here to grab a puzzle to work on during these crazy times. A very kind lady met me at the door and was excited to show me the puzzle section. They carry Ravensburger Puzzles which I assume is a quality brand to get since a friend of mine(an avid puzzle doer) raved about it. Their selection was quite varied. Everywhere from large 30 piece learning puzzles for kids and 3,000 piece dandies to keep you busy. They also carried a cool, unique supply of other toys and collectibles for the whole family. Definitely an excellent place to do some Christmas shopping. I might come back and grab an epic fantasy puzzle once I finish this guy.

I love this gem of a toy shop. They have a great assortment of toys and gifts for all ages. The items also range from educational to fun and goofy. The experience is made even more delightful by their friendly staff. Every time I've been there they have helped me find exactly what I'm looking for. This place is just the best! Staff is warm and knowledgeable (with age and a the smallest bit of information they can suggest a number of perfect birthday gifts for any kid). During the various levels of Covid lock down in 2020 this team found every creative way to continue to support families and stay open (I placed an order by text and was able to do a quick, contactless pick up of crafts and activities for my young kids). And in this tough economic time Building Blocks continues to give back to local schools and offer great sale periods for customers.

I went to buy something silly for myself after a really difficult week personally and professionally, and they were very friendly to me even though I was an adult there at like... 11am. They offered me lots of options for gift wrap which I obviously didn’t get but was a nice touch. Lots of options and fair prices!

A great place to look for toys that are a little different than your normal ones at your big box retail stores. The associates were very kind and knowledgeable. It's a great place to get a toy or child that wants to learn. Love this place a lot and the staff was extremely helpful.

Very cute little independent toy store with great selection. Modern yet somehow old school at the same time. This place has been around forever, well over 20 years. Glad to see it's still around given most of the older businesses in the neighborhood have folded, including Dinkel's now

Got my Lego orchid here and loved walking around looking for puzzles. No shame in buying yourself a plushy. There's sales and good customer service. Get your toys and board games in time for Christmas!

The people who work here are knowledgeable and helpful. I needed a gift for a 2 year old and had limited info on what to get. I was still in and out of the store with a wrapped gift in under 10 minutes because they asked what I was looking for and had a perfect gift ready to recommend. Wrapping is included. Awesome.
