Honestly 5/5 starts does not do this place justice.. I wish I could give them 100 stars! Just tried it for the first time and all i can say is WOW. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Such a nice little family owned business. Staff is the friendliest, and the bagels are delicious! Highly recommend.

My husband and I regularly go get a dozen to freeze and eat slowly over the next few weeks/months. They're amazing the day you bring them home. The bagels toast up crispy on the outside soft on the inside. They freeze really well - the quality - even the last one - defrosted and toasted very well. Definitely recommend and will go again. You gotta try Elle's!

The food is magnificent and the service is friendly and quick. My only suggestion would be to establish a pick-up and walk-in line. I call in sometimes and still wait in line and some customers don’t take kindly to trying to pick up before they have ordered themselves. Just witnessed it this morning.

Helpful staff. Signage blends into the building so hard to notice if you aren’t looking for it, (but even if you are!) Bagels are decent though a bit on the bready side. Needed a day to firm up.

This bagel shop is a hidden gem, and it is so wonderful! The staff is always so nice, and their bagels, sandwiches, and cream cheeses are all so good! Not super local to me, but my husband and I make the drive about once a month to go on the weekends. We can't get enough! Would definitely recommend.

I lived in Highland Park for forty years. The bagels here are true water bagels not like Once Apon a Bagel (terrible) and now even better than NY Bagel and Bialy on Touhy or on Dempster. So happy to have this place with in a short driving distance. I wish I could give it 10 stars.

A staple in the community, local owner and really great bagels. Definitely recommend the po cub sandwich which comes with Manny's pastrami, one of my Chicago favs

We really enjoy their bagels. We've gotten the Lox & Cream Cheese and Fat Matt sandwiches, and both were really good. I like the coffee here too.

never been a bagel person but this place changed it all for me! the fat matt is always my go to after a long night 😅 the bagel chips are fire with the garlic & herb cream cheese spread. stop reading and go now!

Best bagels around. I used to go to Einstein. Nice people there. But once I went to Elle’s I discovered how manufactured Einstein taste. Another plus is how nice the staff is at Elle’s and the amazing lunch options. Give it a try

Disregard any poor reviews for this establishment because this place is absolutely phenomenal! Hands down the best bagel sandwich I’ve ever had. Highly recommended and will certainly be back for more!

Tried for the first time and had the TBR... it was delicious! I rarely have bagels but this one takes the cake. Thought it was a deli at first but when I entered it was all about bagels. Seeing the pizza bagels in their fridge makes me want to try them. Despite the name and location I would reccomend this place for a delicious bagel sandwich.

Awesome! I have always been on the quest for two things... fresh made sour dough bread and SALT bagels. After many disappointments, I have located a bagel shop that carries heavily loaded salt bagels. I got spoiled in Oregon. Get yourself a salt bagel, toast and butter it, throw on some fresh caught smoked salmon, and have a great cup of joe to go with it... Perfect morning start. This place carries a very good array of flavors. I tried a garlic, and an everything bagel... Yummy. The wonderful smells in the place will drive ya crazy. Anyways, a half dozen will set ya back about $10, but they are well worth it. So, quest 1 has been completed... Now, if I could just find hot fresh truly sour sour dough bread. Oh yeah 👍. Great job, 8 mins from where I live, located on Ackman Rd. Very happy to have located them. See ya again soon. AAA+

Wow! This place is amazing. I came in with my daughter thinking we would get some bagel sandwiches and stay for lunch, but FYI they don’t have any in-deli seating. So instead of bagel sandwiches we got a 1/2 dozen and schmear to take home and went out elsewhere for a sit down lunch. You guys, I lived in New York for five years and I really think this was the best bagel of my life. Haven’t tried the sandwiches yet obviously but the bagels themselves are incredible, and now I wish I lived closer!

Drove 45 minutes only to find a sign on the door saying we got married, we're closed. We checked the website before leaving our house. It said "Open". No reference to being closed for 2 weeks. We wasted almost 2 hours on this. So many others were there dismayed as well.

Great local bagel place. Large variety of bagel types and sandwich toppings. Would definitely recommend the French toast bagel. They also offer juices and drinks along with frozen bagel items. Love the homemade cream cheese. The cinnamon one is my favorite.
