Did the mine tour, absolutely wild experience! Expect to see and experience the horrible working conditions of the miners, crawl through narrow and dusty tunnels and blow up some actual dynamite!

We did the Silver Mine tour with Koala tours potosi and had a great time. The mine was authentic and a working mine, whereas apparently many tour companies bring you to mines tailored for tourists and aren't as authentic. Our tour guide was Julio, who was full of energy, information and stories. He took pride in greeting the miners we met and introducing us. Would definitely recommend the tour and the tour company. Julio also sorted a bus for us to Uyuni when the buses online seemed to be sold out. Thanks Julio!

It was a mind-blowing tour and I was glad to have it with Koala tour. Our guide Francisco used to be a miner with 18 years of experience, he shared a lot of insights and stories with us. He was very careful with our safety and regularly check in with us to make sure that we all were fine. Strongly recommend this agency for the mining tour if u are in Potosí!

I did the mining tour with David and his colleagues and can really recommend it. There were 5 guides for a group of ten. Felt in good hands all the time. The tour was quite impressive and interesting. Please be aware that it is not for the faint-hearted and involves some kind of climbing. Edit: I also did the free walking tour in Potosí (tip-based) with Julio and had a lot of fun. We tried some fruits and ice cream, went to a store to listen to some local music instruments, and talked with locals. I'm not sure the free tour is actually being advertised, so just ask at their office.

The mine tour is amazing. Both guides we met (English and Spanish) were very knowledgeable, committed and also funny. It was a spaciel experience, and I definitely recommend this agency to do it with. (we booked through koala de hostel)

Best tour operator in Potosi! Provide not a tour a adventure. You will spend around 2.5-3h inside the mines( different ones than most of your operator provide) you will crawl across claustrophobic tunnels and going deeper into the mine! Because of that you will realize real life of miners. It was one of my best adventures in life. Worth every bolivianos ( it is most costly than other tours but for this experience I would be able to pay even more)😁

Absolutely great mine tour, not for the faint of heart, it was definitely not a tourist mine, lots of people were working and it was physically intensive to run in between mine carts. Our guide David was a miner himself and absolutely great, told us about the work, the organization and the believes of the miners as well. It was extremely interesting. I can only recommend this tour and David especially!
