Barefoot
Landing
is
a
nice
place
to
go
on
a
nice
day.
It's
an
outdoor
mall
set
up
for
the
scheme
of
shop+eat+play.
It
is
the
younger
sibling
of
the
nearby
Broadway
at
the
Beach
outdoor
mall
set
up
in
the
same
way.
This
is
a
nice
family
area,
with
activities
for
every
age.
Youngins
can
play
on
the
playground(s)
or
play
free
games
like
giant-sized
Jenga
or
giant-sized
Chess,
parents
can
play
too
or
join
in
a
group
class
like
Yoga
and
there's
seating
everywhere
for
those
who
want
to
watch
their
kids
or
have
a
drink.
I've
even
seen
people
sleeping.
There's
some
walking
you
can
do,
from
the
waterway
to
the
paths
between
stores
and
parking
lots,
which
are
plentiful.
There
are
many
restaurants
where
you
can
get
a
good
meal
or
drink
and
there's
somewhat
limited
shopping,
mostly
for
niche
vacation
items
and
tchotchkes.
There's
ice
cream
shops,
candy
shops
and
an
arcade.
Occasionally,
there
is
live
music
or
other
some
such
entertainment.
The
only
negative
is
that
you
won't
find
any
mom
and
pop
shops
that
I
can
see.
The
plus
is
that
all
of
the
places,
even
if
corporate,
are
relatively
high
quality
places
and
small
chain
retail
and
restaurants.
