Sweet little wine store/cantina which we passed on our walk (pilgrimage?) to the Santuario Madonna di San Luca, this place is located a little inside the city gate on Via Saragozza. A display of beautiful and unusual contemporary art in the window first caught our eyes, along with the stylish display of wines from small vineyards throughout Italy. We chatted with the owners, a young man and woman, and promised we would stop by on the way back "downhill" when they would reopen in the early evening, which we did. We ordered a couple of glasses of a delightful spumanti at the recommendation of the owner, and "feeling hungry", a very nice plate of local meats and cheeses.
