I booked this place to be close to the airport as we were departing on the next day. It turns out it is a nightmare to get to the airport on public transport (takes 58' on the bus for what would be a 10' ride on the taxi as the bus goes to town first -exactly what we did not need) and ended up taking a taxi that cost us on our way there 22 euros -on heavy traffic- and on our return 30 euros (eyes rolling) as they charge you for coming out of Bologna 2miles to get you - absolute disgracefulness. If we knew that earlier we would have never booked this B&B. Now on the positives, we stayed in a room within a maisonette, beautifully furnished (the bathroom and shower are state of the art) and had access to a beautiful swimming pool in the main villa area (our maisonette was 1min away). The staff was very friendly and helpful but you would expect a B&B to actually have breakfast which they did not as there was no staff around even when we left at 12pm (we dropped the keys in a postbox). If you are renting a car or have money to burn on transportation I would have no reason why not to recommend this place!

Wow, we just arrived and I already know that this is the best stay of our vacation out of the 6 places we stayed at. Very polite host, we got tea on arrival. The room is amazing by all standards, I could live here for weeks. Amazing.

We only just arrived but this place is wonderful! We were greeted with tea and coffee by the. There are only two rooms (Metallica and Cipria) and they are beautifully decorated with a high ceiling. Could easily have stayed here the entire week.
