If you want to spend time close to nature and feel the Vibes of Bengal Village nothing like Madol... With no urbanization developed nearby yet, staying at a two storied mud house surrounded with nature will surely keep a mark on your memory... Amazingly, mud house keeps the inside environment hot during winter and cold during summer... Kopai viewpoint is nearby, so can easily expedite the Beauty of full moon night at Kopai with touch of Baul song feels like heaven... Best to have personal vehicle for your comfort... A village to explore nearby walkable distance... Finally some feelings hard to describe in words. So to feel the vibes must stay at madol.. Finally, thanks Mr. Riddhiman for being such a nice host... Looking forward to Come back again... P.S. expect basic amenities with no corporate touch... Feels like home..

Wonderful stay in serene environment. Stayed here during the peak season of Poush Mela. The owner Riddhiman Da was very good natured. The garden is very beautiful and full of flowers. The room is decently spacious and washrooms pretty clean. Much better to stay here than in some pricey hotel. Highly recommend. A small scope of improvement may be having a kitchen in the property, instead of getting food from nearby restaurant. It'll save time and communication will be better regarding requirements.

Experience of a kind. Our full extended family stayed in the homestay for three nights. It was really amazing to stay in the midst of pure nature without any kind of urban pollution. Not even a single light visible when stepping out for a night walk. Enjoyed moonlight in its purest form. Adjacent paddy fields and Santal villages are cherry on the top. The property can be better maintained. But both the owner and especially local attendant Asit were very attentive to all our requests. Mud house is clean and the toilet is well equipped. Don't expect luxury but all the basic amenities are there. I hope to visit again with friends and family.

I have seen Madol blossom into a safe, ecologically sensitive and cozy place right before my eyes over the years. The homestay is surrounded by lush green fields and undulating ravines of Kopai river. It's not far from the town yet it remains away from busy roads of Bolpur. The homestay has clean bathrooms with hot water. I have been told that owner is developing a kitchen but if you order the food on time, you are in for a treat.

Riddhiman is my friend and from the making of Madol , I get every details of it. From that time I had a wish to stay there with my family, specially for my daughter who is not used to stay with this nature, lots of greenery, fresh air and more. I stay there on 31 st December, 22 & 1st January, 23 with my family and family of sister-in-law. Unfortunately Riddhiman was not there, but he arranged all for us, sightseeing, fooding, vehicles etc. We feel to stay there just like our home 🏡. We had two kids with us, 2 years & 5 years. Both enjoyed there very much. Wish to stay there in future and that time must meet with Riddhiman ❤️

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Madol Eco Stay, a beautiful retreat located on the outskirts of Shantiniketan in Birbhum. It was truly a unique and wonderful experience. The eco stay is set amidst lush greenery and offers a peaceful, serene environment. The accommodations were comfortable and eco-friendly, with a focus on sustainability and responsible tourism. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the design of the cottages and the use of organic materials. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was delicious, with a focus on local, organic ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the traditional Bengali dishes that were served. Overall, I would highly recommend Madol Eco Stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and sustainable retreat. It's a great place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life and to connect with nature. I would definitely stay here again!

It's a farm stay. Amidst greenery far away from crowded city. The experience is unique to stay in mud house. The location is really nice. The 1st floor room is the best. It has two rooms. One like living room and the next bed room. Don't expect hotel like service. The simplicity is the USP of this stay .One can really enjoy village essence at the best. It is located just few minutes next to Kopai veiw point. One can drive directly to this farm stay. Parking space is sufficient. Asit the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed authentic khejur raas and gur . Thanks to Asit.

Far from the urban cacophony, the tranquility of rustic Bengal and the simplicity of village people make the most of it here in Madol Eco Stay. A big round of applause for the hospitality we received from here. The best place to stay in Shantiniketan.

The surrounding atmosphere, the natural beauty was bliss , the behavior of the attendants were really helpful. A good place to stay at weekend ( preference is there to avoid during summer ) at midst of the absolute greenary , to cherish the essence of solitude. Rooms are well decorated and maintained as well. It is advised to book the room at second floor as to soothe the eye with the view available from balcony. The quality of food is okay and it is advised not to superbly delicious cuisine at such villegary atmosphere...The natural ambience at night in particular , the experience of staying in a mud hut , can surely deliver certain nip to the exclusively urban mindset.
