The best place of Hazaribagh for morning and evening walk and also for family.

Didn't expect such an amazing place within the main Hazaribagh. Was here for two hours in the evening in the month of June. Very calm and peaceful spot. It is a huge jheel, it will easily take an hour to walk around it. The Jheel is surrounded by the historical Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Central Jail, Hazaribagh Medical College and District Commissioner Residence.

Good place for evening outing. Please do not expect as major tourist attraction.

Well the area beside the jheel are well organised and well maintained, also semi clean. The best time is in the early morning or in the evening. The jheel is devided in two main parts choti jheel (most happening place) while the other is badi jheel (least happening as compared to choti jheel). You can enjoy paddle boat or stream boat ride on reasonable price. There are also parks and cafeteria around the choti jheel where childrens can enjoy. Also a good place for family and friends. There are so many food stalls where you can enjoy snacks or freshment. The surrounding is so much safe because of officers bunglow around the lake. You can go through either bike or cars but in my opinion walking is best option. There is so much crowd in weekend or in festive time. Sometime you will also enjoy fishing. Also there is so many types of fishes in the lake.

It's A cool Lake. Needs some Development. Everything is broken except the Statue on the side. Needs some Aesthetic revamp, only a Little though.
