interest
during
11th
to
12th
century
are
collected
by
the
locals
of
L
-
Plot
island.
After
the
habitation
was
destroyed
due
to
devastated
super
cyclones,
mangroves
vegetation
covered
the
entire
island.
Dhanchi
reserved
forest
is
the
southern
most
part
of
the
GD
Island
where
interesting
sub-surface
sedimentary
structures
like
Cross-bedding
are
available
after
excavation
and
cut-out
trench
upon
the
supratidal
zone.
