Absolutely love the food here. Enjoyed by vegans and non vegans. Could honestly eat one of the Philly cheese steak every day 🤤 everything we've had has been fantastic

Having had a mixed experience at Herbivorous at Hatch in town, I wanted to give a second chance to another of their sites. The food wasn't bad, but neither was it particularly great. The burgers I think in particular could be much better - the 'beef' patties just don't match up to the many good vegan beef burger alternatives available today - thin and a bit dry. The fries were good - we had both the spicy and cheesy fries, but again a but too much of the cashew cheesy sauce on the chips for my preference. We also had the buffalo wings - again a bit too much of the (spicy) sauce giving them a slightly bitter flavour; I think with a bit less they would've been fine. There were some nice craft beers and service was friendly. The main other point was that the place was empty for nearly the whole time we were there EXCEPT for the steady stream of delivery people streaming in to collect takeaway. Nearly all of them left the door open to give us an icy blast each time! Didn't make for a particularly good atmosphere. Please, consider getting an automatic closer on the door and maybe some separation of the area for delivery drivers - I think there would be enough space given all other tables were empty on a Saturday night.

I could live off the Philly Cheesesteak fries. The cheese sauce is so good, its nutty, cheesy and thick. Today I ordered this, along side mac and cheese with the ribs. This dish is hench!! Has saved me from the depth of my hangover. Thank you. P.s really miss the sweet and sour chicken balls!!! The only place I've ever been able to order from is here but you stopped them :( bring them back! :P

Such an amazing place! I've eaten in both at Hatch and Withington and got takeout as well and it's just amazing. I love the wings and fries and it's a great portion - properly filling without being to much to finish!! And the garlic herb mayo is insane.

I got the wings and fries option. It was lovely, piping hot and good portion size for the price! The staff were lovely and the indoor seating option is nice. I would go again :)

Wow. Just Wow. Visited today as we wanted something different. All I can say is wow. This is the tastiest vegan food I have tried. From home made BBQ sauce to options such as Mac and cheese, Philly steaks, ribs. I am actually in love with this place. I am gutted there isn’t one in the midlands. I will defiantly be back each time I’m in Manchester. Good portion sizes. The food is so tasty. Good work and amazing restaurant and the staff can’t do enough for you they are so attentive.

The food was honestly insane. Full of flavour, great portions and came really quickly so was still so hot. Also had a lovely little handwritten note in the bag which was a nice touch. Will 100% order again for a treat night!!

I've been to a number of vegan places over the years, and Herbivorous did not disappoint. The place had a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious! I will definitely be going there again. Loved it!

Food is absolutely gorgeous. Generous portions and the flavours are delicious. Burger fans will not be disappointed with anything on the menu. Can not wait to visit again. Service absolutely lovely and very reasonably priced.

Went to Herbivorous with my daughter. Thought it was great. Cocktails punchy, ‘Chicken’ burger super tasty, chips fab, waiter (Jonah) lovely. Well worth it - if you’re a vegan or not (I’m not).

Wow!!! As a local resident of Withington, I never thought that I will be writing such a review for a food place. Everything is simply amazing, the flavours, the colours, the vibe! You feel so very welcome from the moment you cross the doorstep. Highly recommend to try the buffalo wings and philly steak fries, but feel free to explore whatever you desire. Definitely coming back and i will bring my besties to share the joy!

Love this place. There never seems to be a soul inside but by jove is it good. I often go in for an £8 mid-week takeaway courtesy of the early bird meal deal (12-5:30 weds-fri). I have but one irk: please put the wings and fries on the early bird menu. For now, the delicious fried 'chicken' burger will keep me satisfied for months to come. Love from a loyal customer 💋

Me and my partner ordered from Herbivorous recently and the food was incredible. We missed the delivery allocated time, so made an order over the phone for collection. We live about 15 minutes from there, so it wasn't a major issue. After getting our delivery home it turns out that they missed an item off order, so got in contact and they said I was able to come back and get the item. When I got back there they gave us 2 desserts to compensate us for the inconvenience, which was really nice of them. Would fully recommend going to visit them if you are in the area and in the mood for some delicious vegan junk food.

We went here for lunch and oh my gosh the food was super tasty and plentiful, the service was great and the restaurant is bright, colourful and comfortable with some fab artwork. Always ace when you can go somewhere for food and you can eat anything on the menu with no compromise. We got the wings and cheesy fries, bacon mac n cheese and the noodle salad - delicious. I recommend to all!

We had a great lunch here as a large group. The waiting staff were very attentive and managed to keep on top of our very large order. Lots of varied options on the menu, and everything that we had was delicious and was very well priced. A perfect lunch place for vegans.

Amazing Vegan food from a non-vegan! As someone that hasn’t fully committed to being vegan (I know sorry) vegan food can be very hit and miss, this was a massive HIT! Amazing food, really nice portion sizes (I will sleep well tonight) and a nice atmosphere to enjoy it in. Staff really polite and very reasonably priced compared to other Vegan places. Lovely staff, great food. Big portions!! Three of us visited today and had a great time. A previous review mentioned their uncertainty around the vegan status of the menu, but I can confirm it is 100% vegan, despite the menu mentioning things like 'chicken wings' and 'lamb'. So don't let it put you off - it certainly gives V-Rev in the city centre a run for it's money!

Just had a delivery, very underwhelming! Had no pineapple for our burger which we were advised on the phone. The burgers had about 2 strands of lettuce on, everything seemed spicy (I guess to cover lack of flavour) and they forgot our 2 cola drinks. I’ve been vegetarian for 20 years so I’m used to and expect a lot of bland food but I’ve had a lot better vegan meals elsewhere. Gutted cos I was so excited for my dinner 😄

This is a gem of a restaurant, food is amazing! 4 of us (including 3 carnivores!) shared loaded Mac and cheese, a big kahuna burger, buffalo wings, a Philly cheesesteak, harissa corn & paprika fries. Perfect size portions, got to try everything and left stuffed! Cocktails also gorgeous and only £5! Already planning the next trip 👌
