Nice new setup but VERY POOR service. The place was very messy and either heavily understaffed or the kids working there don't know what they're doing. We stood for approximately ten minutes waiting to order or get a Hi and when we rang the bell for their attention the girl working there answered very rudely. We seen a couple of the staff but they were just focused on the drive thru and left tea spilt on tables and customers unattended. I'd overlook everything if they had just said "sorry" or "we'll be right with you. Rather, it was a rude reply and awkward looks. Not the service you'd expect from a brand new modern setup. As you can see from the other reviews there's a lot of angry customers. Not nice to see a new local business get so much bad reviews on opening. However, the owners should be present themselves or have competent staff in place for the opening weeks. I hope they can sort it out and improve as we want this place to do well.

The place is clean and swanky, the food looking nice and fresh BUT the full English breakfast was horrible. The omelette was greasy, toast flaccid and the beans tasteless. The worst part were the sausages- simply not to any food standard. Overall a real disappointment.

I am writing to complain about my recent experience at your establishment, Chaiwala Drive Through, on Manchester Road in Bolton. On the evening of November 5, 2023, at approximately 9:30 pm, we purchased a cheesecake from your eatery and unfortunately, I found it to be inedible due to several issues. Upon receiving the cheesecake, I noticed that it appeared stale and rubbery, giving it an unappetizing appearance. In addition, the product seemed to be past its expiry date. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the cheesecake, especially considering that I have been a regular customer at your establishment. Given the poor condition of the cheesecake, I approached your employee, Sam, who was in charge at that time, to address my concerns and request a replacement or a refund. However, I must say that her behavior was highly unprofessional and unacceptable. She displayed a rude attitude and seemed completely disinterested in addressing my concern. I was shocked by her response when I asked for a replacement, as she flat out refused. Moreover, her suggestion to contact Human Resources rather than offering any assistance was completely inappropriate. It is puzzling that I, as a customer, should be directed to contact HR? As a loyal customer, I would have expected a more understanding and customer-oriented response from your staff. Sam's behavior has left me shocked and has tainted my perception of your establishment. It is clear that proper training is lacking among your employees, particularly in terms of addressing customer complaints, providing satisfactory solutions, and maintaining a professional demeanor. I kindly request that you investigate this matter promptly and take appropriate action against Sam's unprofessional behavior. As a resolution, I had initially hoped for a replacement for the stale cheesecake, but given the unfortunate response from your employee, I recommend you prioritize the training of your staff to handle such situations with utmost professionalism, respect, and consideration towards the customer. Please be aware that unless this matter is satisfactorily resolved, I regret to inform you that I will no longer be visiting your premises. As a regular customer, this has been an unfortunate experience and I hope my feedback can contribute to improving your overall customer service. I expect a prompt response to this complaint, ensuring that adequate measures will be taken to address the concerns raised. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The service was fine. The chai however was just full of tea leaves. The taste is not so great of both the regular chai and the pink tea. The cakes were also just decent they did taste like they were sitting out for a while. However the location is good and the atmosphere is great for a hangout with friends.

Good, filling breakfast. They got my drink wrong even though I paid extra for it and we were the only customers there. And the fact they don’t have proper cutlery, only wooden disposable knives and forks, probably means I’d never eat there again.

Desserts was not that good as it tastes like made days before but tea is awesome as always. My daughter was served with a day's old pink dessert. When we requested to change that the lady was asking for money without refunding the previous purchase. We told her to taste how bitter the cream was she refused. The asked to buy catchup and she gave a very little amount of catch up for 60p! Whereas anyone can buy a whole bottle for 80p. She said that is there standard. I wonder what is the standard of how many gram for a 60 dip. Should have more staff in the lobby to clear up table and top up toilet issues. Decoration is excellent. A place to enjoy yourself with your family. I love the most the speaker outside entrance which plays music to help you enter into the world of joyful eating.

This is the second time I've tried food from here and both times it's been seriously disappointing. We purchased two chai's (not as good as the one in Trafford Center) and two tika pasties. Both were undercooked and raw. I won't be coming back here again not sure where the 5* reviews are coming from.

Terrible, slow service and never actually got our order... read on! Went to the drive through and ordered just hot drinks. Then sat waiting for a frankly astounding amount of time - around 20 minutes - in the queue to get to the payment and collection window. When we finally got to the front we were told the drinks machine wasn't working. I'm not even certain she apologized as such. So we queued for absolutely nothing and drove off. Things break, sure, but communication should be much better as if we had known that we were in for such a long wait, given that customers in front also had food which seemed to take a long time, we wouldn't have ordered anyway.

👍👍 I love this place. What this charity does for people who have been or are homeless is amazing. On reading some of the negative reviews I can’t believe what some people are saying. If you have ever been homeless and needed help then I’m sure your attitudes would change. Keep up the great work 😀👍
