Stayed for 2 nights and I have to say the staff were absolutely fab. Breakfast was great and the girls on duty during breakfast were just lovely. Very welcoming with smiles all round and nothing was a bother. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable and a good night's sleep was had. The only down side was that because we arrived an hour before check in we were charged ten pounds even though the room was ready which I thought slightly let it down.

Everyone on the hotel team were friendly and helpful and very welcoming nothing was a trouble to anyone. Room was clean and tidy and we were on floor 2 which was a better floor for us. Breakfasts were nice and plenty of choice to eat and drink. Maybe hotel in need of a bit of a referb in certain areas obviously shows its a popular place to stay.

We were using the hotel for business. The front desk welcomed us both with a smile and was informative. The room was nice big enough with a large double bed and a single bed but both were comfortable. The double was quite a high bed. Adequate plug sockets and a large mirror. The shower and sink area of the bathroom was clean however the smell in the toilet was not so good it did smell like a man's public toilet 🤢. The other thing in the room if you are someone who likes it completely dark when you are going to sleep. the radiator was flashing on and off lighting the room up never experienced this before I'm guessing it was as the temperature dropped and it automatically came back on. When I eventually did get to sleep it was a comfortable sleep in the single bed. Then breakfast in the morning we couldn't help but smile at our host he was very lively and a Ray of sunshine even when we were up early to go to the conference. He made my breakfast experience the best, keeping up informed about what hot food was coming out from the kitchen, he even put some paper bags on the side in case we wanted to take some fruit away with us for a later breakfast. Nothing was too much for him or any of the staff we saw.

Usual premier inn standard, so all good there but they allow a coach to pick up outside the hotel at 7-7:30am, so there's a lot of conversation/noise. Mentioned this to reception and they said they knew about it bit couldn't stop it - come on... I suggest you try harder! My advice, ask for a room that doesn't face the car park

Me and my partner stayed for 2 nights for the pink carnival. Spot on location, we were welcomed nicely. Room was what you expect from Premier Inn. The only issue was that when the window was open, you could hear the noise from the train station, but it didn't stop me from a good night's sleep. And well, breakfast time, what a host I didn't catch his name but he was sooooo funny. He could make you smile even if you didn't feel like it. Best host of a premier Inn me and my partner have met. And my partner has been to alot through work and gigs ect. So a massive pat on the back 😁

Family room booked for myself, my wife and daughter. Fixtures and fittings date, but room was clean and functional. All staff professional and friendly, but a special mention to the guy taking breakfast orders. He goes above and beyond in his duties, and any business would be blessed to have him on board. His energy is infectious, top man👍🏼

Typical high quality rooms that you expect from a Premier Inn Hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff. Unfortunately, a noisy corridor fire door outside the room definitely negatively affected my night's sleep as it woke me up every time someone went through the door and it then slammed shut. Told a member of staff when leaving in the morning and was told it would be reported to maintenance. Will have to think twice about returning.

Big Premier Inn just across the road from Bolton Arena and Stadium. Well-located for the train station as well, when in operation. Building has three floors, with most rooms on 1st and 2nd. Stairs and lift are available. Rooms are operated with plastic cards, rather than traditional keys. Rooms are fine and clean. Hardest bed known to man, but good enough for a couple of nights. Weird space saving arrangement with the bathroom - main door becomes toilet door so someone else can use the shower. Fine, but then the steam from the shower enters the bedroom. Strange. Still, shower is very powerful. Basic but powerful. A good combination. Vending machines downstairs by reception and a Harvester in the carpark. Get your sweets and also your unlimited bread rolls and giant sundaes. Derelict Missoula in the car park. Whatever happened to that chain? 🤔

Me and a friend stayed at this hotel for the past 2 nights as we were attending the P!nk concert... What can I say! Everything was amazing, the staff/the manager were so bubbly and polite and nothing was to much trouble, I've never met a bunch of happier people and that goes for the whole of Bolton! Everyone was so so friendly and welcoming wherever we went. Also brekfast was absolutely delicious and Andrew who was serving us, is one of a kind! His passion for his job shines through.xx

The staff was amazing! Very friendly and was always there to help. Breakfast was like any other Premier Inn Breakfast good for the price. Downfall was, unfortunately, the outdated rooms, but while we were there, it seemed they were in the process of updating the rooms which will be a huge positive for the already great Premier Inn, and I could hear what felt like every door being slammed shut.

Nice little place to stay, in an ideal location and much cheaper for visiting Manchester doing some shopping - free parking at the hotel is good. Middlebrook retail park right on your doorstep which has loads of options for shopping and eating. Bed was comfy and had a good nights sleep for the 5 nights I was there. Despite being close to the main road and train station, with the windows closed, could barely hear anything. Shower had good pressure and temperature was nice. The staff were very nice and friendly and nothing was a bother for them. Breakfast service was very nice, had both self serve and order at the table (assume this depends how busy they are) both ways were hot and tasty, the sausages were very nice. Good selection of continental options too. They have a hot drinks machine which does very nice cappuccino's

Stayed here with my partner after travelling for many hours, we only checked in at night and the lady on the desk was very helpful and really attended to our needs, she made sure we had a comfortable stay especially after the long journey we had. We'd like to say thank you to Emma for going the extra mile :) The beds are very comfortable, would definitely stay at a premier inn again

Good beds and friendly reception. The highlight for me was breakfast. There was all that you wished for at the breakfast bar but more than that world friendliest hotel staff who was manning the breakfast area was serving us and he was superb. So welcoming and so caring and professional. He gave us fruits and pastry to take away. His name was Andrew. He gave us a five star treatment! A ray of sunshine in a traveller’s day ☺️

Pretty poor experience, checking in took forever (system issues apparently), they also gave us the wrong room - booked a family room, but ended up with just a double. When I went to complain at reception I was told that I had made an error, despite showing my booking which clearly stated 'family room'. Eventually got moved to the accessible room on the ground floor which was big enough - and generally ok, but a bit smelly.

Shame I was given a room with no heating. After querying, being told the heating was on and did I want a heater to heat the room whilst it was warming up I was asked if I would like to change rooms. I said yes if the heating wasn’t working which it obviously wasn’t and given a refurbished room. I had travelled for five hours and just wanted a nice warm room and comfy bed as I would normally expect from a Premier Inn.

We have stayed here a few times over the years and have never had any problems, the breakfast is always amazing.

Staff excellent couldn't be more helpful, cleanliness of room could do with improvement, dirty pillowcase, not just laundry marks, don't think it had been changed... But new one given with no fuss Bathroom strong urinal smell... Which was noted

We've stayed at this Premier Inn a few times because the location is useful to us. It is maybe showing it's age a little but the thing that stood out was how friendly and helpful the staff were. For example, at breakfast, the staff member in charge was genuinely trying to help guests enjoy their breakfast. Really, the staff were all pleasant and helpful, and that's why we will stay here again. I'm giving the stay five stars not because this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in (it's not, by a long way) but because the staff were so good.

Room had an odd smell. Was tidy and seemed fairly clean but with the smell not sure. Maybe it needs updating. Shower pressure and temp was fab. Only had one towel for two of us so had to ask for an extra.

We stayed here for our friend's wedding in Bolton. We were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was during the night. Lovely staff. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Great value.

Premier Inn (Bolton Stadium) needs improvement We have stayed in the Premier Inn (Bolton Stadium/Arena Approach) many times since it was opened around 2008. I remember when it was brand new and became our preferred place to stay. Furniture naturally gets worn over the years and this place now needs to be refurbished. Many of the bathroom doors have holes in them that have been filled in. The fixtures and fittings need modern replacements like they have in Chorley North. I observed a stain on the underside of the duvet which didn't look ground in and this told me it hadn't been washed after the previous guests left. My continental breakfast was fine but my pal expected better from his cooked breakfast. I think guests should have the option of having this cooked to order now that the prices have increased quite a lot. Happy to say all staff always perfectly friendly at Premier Inn. I was also let down by the Mitchells and Butlers ran Harvester across the car park. This matter needed attention from the CEO as none of his staff would sort it out. However as he failed this naturally has repercussions for the nearby Premier Inn too. No plans to return for the foreseeable future.

I felt like I had slept in an Ash tray. Nasty smell in the room that despite the staffs best efforts with an apple spray remained. No air conditioning and only 1 towel for 2 guests. Great staff which is why I gave it 2 stars.

Lovely trip away . Really helpful staff . Breakfast was surprisingly very good. Staff in restaurant were so nice. Refreshing for morning staff. Maybe I'm used to grumpy people in London these days.

honestly couldn't ask for better staff. so friendly and kind. would go above and beyond to help. especially the night staff Emma and the other lady with platinum white hair.such amazing help at night, I and my partner have travelled from Scotland and would highly recommend this establishment. every quiry or problem I would have the staff helped and assisted. definitely a pay rise needed for the night staff though. I think they are highly underrated. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

We've had a really good stay. The rooms are warm as there is no air con but we've managed fine with the window open and there is a fan. Staff are super helpful. The chap at breakfast on Monday was a scream. Everyone is very helpful. We've had a good stay. Thankyou!

Stayed here at Easter bank Holiday weekend. Stayed in a family room and that was fine. What makes this place stand out was the staff. The ladies on reception were so helpful, polite and made you feel so welcome. Same for the staff manning the breakfast area. They also did a Easter competition for kids staying at the hotel, they got a free Easter egg. It was my sons 1st hotel experience and they made it special. This site should be held up as a standard that it her premier inn sites should reach for.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room unfortunately could do with a refurb. Old furniture, old bathroom suite and a small TV that barely worked. We had the breakfast one of the mornings. The guy who served us (Andy) is a legend and made this the highlight of our stay at the Premier Inn. Thanks

Breakfast was brilliant, even had gluten free bread and staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately though, the bed was uncomfortable and rolled into the middle. Very convenient for the Bolton stadium, literally across the road.

This place is just brilliant. Have been put here due to house fire. Been here 3 weeks and will be here another 2. Nice clean comfortable room. Staff friendly and helpful. Room next door were extremely noisy but that's not the hotel's fault.

Thank you very much to the staff who made my sons Joseph stay amazing. He was there to go to the football for his birthday but unfortunately it was cancelled. The staff cheered him up so much. He was over the moon with his birthday card and chocolates which made it the best day of his life (his words) a special mention to Andy who give Joseph special treatment throughout his stay and to the 2 lovely ladies on reception (sorry can't remember names) you all went above and beyond and give him memories he won't forget. Than you very much xx

The family room is a normal size for a family of 5. The staff were warm and friendly. Location there was lots to do plenty of food and restaurants and shops and we are next to Bolton football club. 1 Kid eat free when a adult eats for under £10 for breakfast.
