If I didn’t live 2.5 hours away this would be my local for sure. Great vibe, amazing food all my favourite beers, friendly staff, good garden bar. It has it all.

Rooms are nice however, lorries driving past the window of the large room felt like an earthquake from 3am. Help yourself continental breakfast was OK but the Coffee machine was great! In the bar a great selection of beers although fairly pricey! Food was incredible, I had three starters and we're all great! The mushrooms in Stilton sauce were class!

I cannot wait to go back to The Brewery Tap. Hectic Sunday evening with their live music and yet they managed to squeeze us in. We were told food would take 45 minutes and yet it wasn't even half that. We all ordered something completely different and everyone said their food was tasty and filling. Proper home comfort food. The menu is HUGE too - definitely something for everyone. Service was good. The only issue is, very view places to park, but we know that's not a fault of the venue.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was clean and comfortable. They provided a 24hr coffee machine and a huge choice of food and cold drinks which we could help ourselves to. The food served in the pub was outstanding. We had a few meals in the pub including their home made pies and their own smoked brisket. Everything was made and cooked perfectly. A good choice of well kept beers including local brewers. Their Barney snuggles ale was particularly good in my opinion. Even with all this, by far the best thing is the staff. They were attentative, happy and made us feel very welcome at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to all.

Sadly I'm not local to Abingdon, as it's an excellent pub. A great selection of real and craft ales, and excellent food to go with it. The previous times I'd been here, 4 years ago, I had the Beef Brisket, and I had it again this week 😀

We discovered this pub when our daughter was training near by. We have been in a few times whilst we waited for our daughter. As soon as you walk in you notice the lovely atmosphere. On Sundays they have live music and the selection of drinks and award winning ones, along with always being busy made us want to come back for dinner. We booked for Sunday evening with our puppy Luigi. We had a perfect evening. The staff are always friendly and relaxed providing great service. The food blew us away. We chose the sharing menu which included ribs, southern chicken with fries, coleslaw,Boston beans and ordered the beef chilli nachos. Between us three it was enough and absolutely delicious 😋 We stayed for just over a few hours which also made it so lovely as well. We will definitely be back and thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well and Ryan who came and chatted with us and made us feel so welcome. We can't wait to come back!

Enjoyed a midweek birthday celebration dinner. Called ahead to book a table for 4, with wheelchair access, just to be on the safe side! Good job we did as it was quite busy, with a great atmosphere. The staff were excellent, very friendly, thoughtful and professional. Excellent selection of cask ales and some tasty lagers, so both myself and my son-in-law were very happy. Food was also first class, with an amazing selection of freshly baked pies! Wheelchair access is good, via the front door. There is a low step, but it’s easily negotiated. Bottom line, loved everything about this place and will definitely go again and again! Be sure to book as the kitchen is very busy and you don’t want to miss out on the pies!!!

A great local pub and one of few independent ones in Abingdon. I can vouch for the Sunday roasts being excellent - probably the best I've ever had when I visited last year. Love that the ingredients are locally sourced. Selection of drinks is excellent, with some less-common largers on tap and local spirits too. You can also find pub quizzes and live music every week. Highly recommend for anyone passing by and who is eager to support high quality independent pubs.

Bit of a shame: paid £13.50 for a sandwich (which was delicious) then £5 + £5 for chips + 'seasonal greens' : chips were great, but the greens consisted of a tiny bowl of rock-hard frozen, cooked peas and two teeny pieces of brocoli. Such an easy thing to improve!!

Don't let the location (busy main road) fool you. Excellent pub with plenty of atmosphere, good staff and great selection of food and drinks on offer. We stopped in for a couple of drinks after a dog walk (yes it's dog friendly) and ended up staying for food. We had the chili nachos and salt & pepper chicken wings both we great and generous portions! A great 'local' to have.

Great spot! My husband and I were in town for work and came by for dinner on a Sunday evening. The live music was a treat! She was really good and played some great songs. Very friendly service, great beers, and delicious food. Was exactly what I wanted.

We stayed here for a friends wedding and were so pleased. The room was perfect and they had all the amenities (including conditioner!). There was a free continental breakfast included where you could help yourself, and the lady cleaning the rooms was so helpful and friendly. We ended up having lunch here too and it was great, would highly recommend!

Great place and great food. We went there for Christmas lunch and it was lovely. I ordered the turkey roast, and it was delicious. The turkey was tender, mashed potatoes was in perfect condition (not too mashed, creamy but overwhelming). The vegetables was definitely overcooked. Normally, I prefer to eat my vegetables when they are still crispy tender, but this was so overcooked that it was hard to eat without them falling apart. The star of the show way definitely gravy. I don't know what they put on the gravy, but it was very delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food, especially burgers got a lot of praise. I also really liked the decorations. Next time, I am definitely trying their burgers!

Third time visited this pub which used to be a brewery. Nice vibe about the place. Good menu, food, reasonably priced and wide selection of beers. Service at lunch was welcoming and efficient. Small amount of parking on site, larger car park short walk away.

Nice outside seating area however none of the heaters outside worked. Good selection of cider and beer. The inside is ok but we were unable to get a table inside so I would say seating is slightly limited. If they supplied blankets or fixed the outside heating, this place would be a blast.

I really love going here. Thae choice of beers is quite incredible. There's a whole menu dedicated to them ☺️ The food is really great here too, never been disappointed with the choice or the standard of it. Always been impressed by the level of service as well. They maintain their standards even at busy times. Can't wait to go back there 😃

The staff here are so friendly and always give a good recommendation if you’re torn between the 16 drinks on tap which are are so good. The food is delicious as well and the live music is always enjoyable. Nice fire to sit by in the winter and good outdoor area for all seasons. Love this place and want to hop in for a pint every time i go past!

Had a family meal here on a Tuesday evening. Had some burgers, chicken wings, hot salmon, salad and fries. All was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Excellent and prompt service. No tip added on the bill but gladly given for a good night out.

Polite welcoming staff in a lovely wood panelled old pub. I chose a beef steak salad with thinly sliced beef delicious. As Arnie said I will be back!

My favourite pub in Abingdon. It has a bit of everything... the best selection of craft beers, great pub grub, top quality live music and always a great place to hang out.

I enjoyed the Sunday roast I ate here today. Hospitality of staff was great. Food was excellent. As well as their assistance and friendliness shown to my friend and I. I'm physically disabled. Accessibility wasn't the best. Especially to access disabled toilet and garden area. But one of locals cared to carry my roĺlator up two steps for me. Which was amazingly helpful. Extremely friendly pub. Enjoyed my visit there. Would consider going again ...

The pub was busy when we were there and we had been asked to pre book our food. I am not a fan of this but do understand the reason for it. That said they were very friendly and accommodating. We added to our original booking and although not seated at the same table an adjoining one was found enabling us to be together. Our waiter who I think was called Daniel was welcoming, efficient and helpfully friendly. The food was good too.
