The most INCREDIBLE and the most DELICIOUS place in the Peak District. I would travel across the country just to visit the place again. The good was phenomenal as was the service and drinks. The menu changes all the time and the dishes are modern and exciting. There is so much variety too! We went there twice in the space of 3 days and would definitely drive 300 miles across the country to eat there again!

Our first time at Tapa and we will definitely go again. The tapas were excellent, the ambience good and the staff very helpful. Loved the ice creams too. As mentioned by other reviews the wine is expensive.

Just moved around the corner from TAPA so ventured out on a Monday evening for dinner. This restaurant has a special offer - bring a food bank donation for 50% off the food bill. Great idea! Small plate menu, started with some breads and oil - absolutely delicious with two different breads. Main courses - my girlfriend had the cod plus the prawns and I had pigs in blankets with cranberry and the lamb shoulder pie. Bravas and gnocchi sides. All the food was excellent. The restaurant was packed, even on a Monday night so make sure you book in advance. Buzzing atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. Will definitely be back soon.

The only restaurant we’ve ever left stating, ‘that was 10/10’ after every time we’ve been. We’ve been going for years🤣 love it.

We visited on a Monday evening when it was 50% off if brought food bank items. What a brilliant idea! We enjoyed many of the dishes - all delicious but special mention for the cauli bon bons, croquettes and lamb shoulder pie. Oh and the peanut butter cookie! Wow!! - I have eaten in many great restaurants in my time, but this place is right up there with the best. Staff were fantastic, the place is so relaxing, and the food!! Absolutely incredible. It felt like a mini holiday going to TAPA tonight. If your looking for a great place to eat at reasonable prices, then you have to visit this place. 5 stars

Best food ever. If you're looking for an intimate date night or a night with the girls drinking great wine/cocktails and AMAZING food, then this is the go-to! The creativity and passion for food is pretty obvious from the get-go. Hats off to the chef for bringing together different flavours and always getting it so right. This is one of our favourite family-run spots in Cheshire.

Lovely place - the chef clearly enjoys presenting the food well too, taking great effort to stack the salad into a dome. Excellent combination of flavours and textures.

Wow! We popped in last minute for dinner and my husband and I were blown away. A fantastic menu with a stunning variety of dishes, each was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We particularly enjoyed the crab croquettes and salt and pepper pork belly - one of the best meals out we have had in a long time. Great value, attentive service and a real little gem of a place!

My friends and I regularly head to Tapa for our ‘Mums Nights’. Food is delicious, fresh and always different, the drinks (cocktails) are delicious and the service is exceptional. My fiancé and I also enjoy popping down on a nice evening now the weather is getting better and having a debrief of the day. Consider ourselves regulars and love supporting our local businesses x

Food was brilliant and nice service. We brought a bag of donations for the food bank on a Monday which gets you half price food. Awesome offer for a good cause but also makes it unreal value

We’ve just been on spec for an early meal and it is fabulous as always! Very inventive, everything really tasty, and the wine we chose without thinking too much about it turned out to be sensational! We live nearby, so really must visit more often and support this absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff are cheery and efficient too, and just complete a great dining experience.

I’ve been a frequent customer of TAPA for a few years and they never disappoint. A constant changing menu, there is always something new to try and I guarantee it will be delicious! Fantastic service and always friendly staff. If you’re not driving, get Jaydean to make you the best espresso martini in the world!

We booked a table for an early dinner on a Wednesday. They do have offers on certain days so worth checking their website before booking. We were pleasantly surprised with the number of Gluten free options which was good news for my wife. We couldn't fault any of the dishes we ordered in both quality and quantity. The service was also really good. Very pleasant and helpful with our choice of dishes. We'll be back for sure.

Really lovely staff but food didn't warrant the price tag at all. Limited menu and the food was disappointing. In so many ways...our 4 tapas were 1.lovely(pork wantons), 2.bland; 3.inedibly tough, and 4.pleasant but unimpressive. We also had two sides 1. drowned in barbecue sauce 2. Inedible due to excess salt (and I mean extreme EXCESS ) Overall, overpriced food lacking finesse in any way...not returning.

Wow - what a great night! I went for dinner with 4 friends and the food was awesome. We ordered one of each dish plus some sides and shared between us, every dish was delicious and the service was excellent. Absolutely fab evening, I would highly recommend for a great night out. Thank you x

Amazing food as always. We had a big table booked for my dads birthday, unfortunately COVID had other ideas. We rang up on the day and asked for it to be a take away, the food was great! The only problem was I had to do the washing up!

Absolutely outstanding food. Seriously, seriously good. The salt & pepper gnocchi is to die for, the swordfish just melted in my mouth. The poutine was a real treat, and I have no idea what was on the sweetcorn, but wow, I want more! I will 100% be returning. Thanks to the staff for great service too. Exceptional!
