Need to train there staff on tropical fish kept fish for over 20 years and was told I couldn't buy fish that I already have together in my tank

Extremely overpriced tat, never stocked fully and refused entry for me and my partner because only one person allowed in the store per household? The only shop around the retail park enforcing this rule so I will take my business elsewhere AVOID

Staff helpful and friendly. Clean roomy enclosures for animals eg rabbits, Guinea pigs etc obviously well cared for. Good variety of products for pets.

Great tropical fish. I've been after some fancy male guppies for a while and have tended to shop at specialist independent fish stores but they haven't had anything exciting in. I popped into P@H and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of fish. Not a huge selection but what they have looked healthy and excellent quality. Purchased two fish, some food and some cleaning accessories. Great shop.

The vet team took my cat to the vet check, they didn’t let me in with my cat and after 10min they bring back my cat and they said that she is very well. I paid £70 for nothing. When I took my cat to privet vet, he said that the cat have mastitis and she have a fever and it goes bad. The girl from the reception is really bad, they are not helping you at all.

Knowledgable staff. Went in a few times for various puppy health related advice and have always been given helpful advice. There's a groom room upstairs.

By far one of the better stores. Lots of variety for our dog and budgie. Our dog loves it here too! Staff are super fab also

Had the doggo's nails clipped this morning. The while process was over in a couple of minutes which helped not stress him out any longer than needed. Was also told some interesting facts about his nails and age.

Only lower as the store is smaller. Stock is therefore limited to an extent but they have a vet and grooming service upstairs which is great! You can always order in too so if you're not in a hurry, this is a great option

Brilliant. I got everything I needed and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Safe shop with hand and basket cleansing facilities in the doorway and plenty of space to walk around. Everyone wearing masks. Easy parking just outside the shop.

A special mention to Tim who was very helpful and and offered advice when my granddaughter was choosing her tropical fish. He genuinely engages very well with his customers. As on previous occasions the staff are extremely pleasant and friendly, very knowledgeable, the store is well laid out, well stocked and information labels are displayed.

My dog loves it here, his toys last a while and now we have a new puppy he loves the toys here too. great wide range of pet toys, treats and food 10/10 as long as my dogs are happy i am

Pets at home are always helpful i took in my little puppy who picked 2 Peggy brushes the other day and she carried one all the way to the tiĺl

Having just got a puppy, we went in to ask about food choices and suitability for the breed .. the young man who served us was very happy to help and very informative giving us options and recommendations... Our puppy is really happy with what was chosen for him .. we will be making regular visits in the future

It's one of the better pets at home. The shop has invested in new freezers for frozen dog food, making it more presentable. It always looks clean and organised, and staff are helpful

Friendly staff however live foods are always in a poor state. Crickets are often nearly all dead

This place is terrible. It's gotten worse every time I visit so today will be the last time I bother. No stock, empty shelves, no internet, no card payments, no staff on the floor to help with anything - it's really pointless as it's not really a functioning shop. Bought a cat toy today and it was covered in 10 years of dust and when I got it home it didn't even contain the ball to chase within the toy 🙄 It's such a dire experience I cannot even face to go back and try for a refund.

Clean and tidy. Parking is great and plenty of spaces and disabled access is good. Prices are a little high compared to online.

Dog grooming upstairs, lovely staff, excellent service fair prices. Scotty loves being pampered here.

Staff are nice here, 1 chap in particular with the brown hair always chatty and jolly. That's about all it has going for it unfortunately.

Due to a nasty fight breaking out between my two male gerbils, I made the difficult decision to split them up and took one to the Walkden store for potential adoption. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and it was clear that the gerbil's welfare was paramount. Thanks again.

Staff wasn't helpful was thier with kids for fish and both ladies were busy talk to each other and i waited if they ask me what i need but i have to ask them and one of them with short hair was not in good mode so she answer me in 1 sentence and again start talking to her co worker sad place was tried to tell them thier was on fishe dead in fish tank she as dint care or act like don't tell me or dnt tell me my job rude staff

Nice shop only problem too small bigger pets at home elsewhere

Always take my Staffy Amy with me. She picks a treat usually a stuffed toy and staff are always polite and give Amy a loving welcome and a treaty snack

Went in to the shop in Walkden because my little fur baby had am iffy tummy and has messed up my bedding. The member of staff that I spoke to was really helpful and gave me a paste that is administered by a strynge. It seems to have helped and she is better today. We give our two fur babies raw food which is far better for their heart and coat but also feed them vegetables and fruit. We also feed them boiled chicken and fish.

I've been here 3 times in the last two months and the staff each time have been uninterested and not overly attentive or helpful. Maybe look at customer service in the Regent Road branch and the Trafford store near the Trafford Centre - the staff there are so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.

Its seems to have gone down hill,not much produce in everytime we ask and some staff do t have much knowledge of products
