31 st July 2023 had a great birthday meal venison curry as good as ever, great staff great food fantastic Now reopen we visited today & just as good as ever so relieved it's reopened as it's best curry restaurant ever been to & I've been to thousands, great service to. My first visit 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Absolutely Amazing best curry I have ever had great portion's & fantastic service clean & very decorative setting definitely will return & also use their take away service.

Probably the best indian takeaway I’ve had! Only ever tried during lockdown, the prawns are something else! Absolutely huge.

Our first time at the lime tree and we had such a delicious meal. Plenty of choice for both vegetarian and vegans as well as meat and even gluten free options. I had the lentil pakoras followed by the pumpkin hodgepodge. Not the usual meal you would see at most Indian restaurants but it was absolutely delicious. My husband had onion bhajis followed by a chicken, garlic and mushroom curry. He found his as equally delicious! Will definitely be back! The photo doesn't do it justice!

Me and my partner's first time here and the service was 5 star and the food you couldnt fault it, it was perfect and the best curry I've ever had, the staff couldn't do enough for you, we will definitely be returning

Just eaten here via uber eats and the curries and rice are delicious. I ordered the vegan garlic and lemon curry alongside the lentil and garlic, packed with flavour and love the fact that it's not the usual takeaway fare. Would highly recommend for vegans, delicious!

Ordered a Takeaway on Wednesday evening this was the first time I have been, I ordered the Chicken Madras, the texture of the Chicken was very good and the Madras sauce was full of flavour, the Garlic nan was also very well made, I'm looking forward to dining in very soon, thank you for an excellent meal

Best in Bolton is back! Lime Tree was closed for refurbishment and I am so happy it has reopened. Lime Tree is one of those rare curry restaurants that takes real pride in making authentic and high quality dishes. The spices, herbs and techniques they use make their food truly excellent. I have not tried the seafood but I can say that the specials, the lentil soup and the breads are delicious and I’ll be going back again and again! Staff are friendly, courteous and highly knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommended.

Amazing food and restaurant. The menu has all the Indian classics one would expect plus many new and unique dishes. The menu is the most interesting I have ever come across in an Indian restaurant. Each item we have had has been superb and can't wait to keep coming back and trying out new dishes. The staff were very kind and attentive too. Overall a must for night of Great Indian food

a special occasion last night. celebrated here, great location. amazing food, and could not ask for better service. Had more than enough so three doggy bags. enjoyed today, still amazing. Value for money we will return.

Nice place, me and my son were the only ones in restaurant , shortly after we arrived the waiter (who was very friendly and professional) put on the heater and music which made the atmosphere much better, the food was very nice especially the chicken and chickpea curry, nann bread fresh and delicious, the downside was the drinks,, not nice flavoured juice/soda and warm flat coke, we asked for some ice, unfortunately they didn't have any ( he gave my son an ice cream on the house after) the drinks was a let down for me,however the food was delicious, 5 star and we will return :)

Amazing restaurant. The quality of the food was great, everything was cooked to perfection and portion sizes were good too. If you go then the lamb chops on the grill are an absolute must. Food delivery was very quick and hot on arrival. The staff were friendly & helpful. Would come here again.

First visit to the lime tree. There was only the 2 us there at the time,but we were made to feel welcome, kept warm with extra heaters and the food was very good- tasted more home cooked and traditional compated to some curry restaurants we have been to - generous portions, nice polite service and good quality ingredients. Looking for further visits when there is maybe more atomphere. Thankyou for a tasty and reasonably priced meal.

Ordered take away yesterday must say food is less than average and oily. Also found fly in the curry which made us more upset. I wonder how their food and hygiene ratings. Must check hygiene ratings before any order next time.

2nd time i've ordered. First time it didn't turn up and too late to order elsewhere. Today we tried again. Said 40-50 mins. Its now 2 hours and no food! Phone wont accept calls (seems to be a common theme). Get OFF online delivery if you cant take orders online!

Ordered food for delivery on the website at 6:07pm on Sunday night. The food never arrived. 😔 Phone line of the restaurant always said “could not connect your call” and no responses to emails. By 9:30pm we had to give up waiting and order something else before everywhere closed for the night. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, we have ordered on Just Eat previously to find after 40 minutes they just cancelled the order. When we have managed to get food delivers though it has always been lovely, which is why we keep trying. But it’s hard to give more than 1 star when it’s a game of roulette as to whether you will actually get food or not.

Me and my BF got a curry from here last night and both said it was the best we have ever had. So tasty!!!! Will definitely be our go to for a curry from now on! 10/10!!!!!

The service is good and the food is excellent. As a huge fan of Indian cuisine the food was delicious. I will definitely be going again and recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.

Tried here after a recommendation from my daughter. Was a bit rowdy when we arrived with a large party of blokes on a birthday meal, but the staff kept us up to date because of the wait, which was worthwhile as the food was excellent. The mixed platter was the best we have had and the curry was excellent with the chicken succulent . The decor could do with an update, but don't let that put you off. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I went here last night, early Friday evening when it was quiet. Our first visit. Had a very tasty meal, really nice flavours, expertly created. Service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend this place. Extensive menu for every taste, and very reasonable prices. We'll be back soon.

Was there last night and it was a lovely night great food great service and great price they even gave the girls a free Bailey's and offered us a free desert absolutely fantastic.

Ordered takeaway, was missing keema naan we ordered. Chips were so overcooked the whole back was rock hard. Disappointing to say the least

Ordered through deliveroo. Mustention this Indian place as food tastes original, i.e. not msg. Ingredients tastes fresh (not frozen, though I have no proof). Had ordered twice already. Dishes are also different from typical Indian takeaways. Worth a try!

Had the mixed starter which was superb. They forgot the poppadoms and chutney so rang and they delivered ten minutes after, no problem. I had the Naga chicken which was lovely, very spicy but I wanted that. My partner had the king prawn hot pan, again lovely, spicy as he likes it but there were only three prawns! For £16.90 I think that's a bit poor! Come on guys, three prawns.

Incredible restaurant, food is amazing and the staff is extremely friendly ! We had ordered some food online and we liked it so much that we had to come in the restaurant too! Highly recommend! Best curry place in the area!
