Visited Bolton Arena to attend the Cars and Stars exhibition. We had purchased our tickets on line and had a QR code to show at the entrance but when we entered the Arena absolutely no one asked to see our tickets. The arena is a good size for exhibitions. The toilets were clean and well stocked. The cars brought back many memories of the TV Shows and films of yesteryear.

Attended the premises for the first time and i have to say that I have been blown away by the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and very polite. All I can say is that I have been blown away by the experience.

Play tennis here regularly on the indoor courts. Recently started using the outdoor clay courts (of which there are only two) and find the maintenance is rather poor. In addition, over three visits I have noticed the fees charged for the outdoor courts have been inconsistent and differ depending on the staff you encounter. I decided to take the matter up with the manager Stuart Kay and he was very unreceptive to my query. Staff at Manchester Tennis Centre far more polite and respectful.

Quite poor condition for an international event tennis venue. Floodlights are atrocious (neon strip lights with many not working), the lux levels will not be more than 300, when they should be at least 750. The backdrops are faded making it difficult to sight the tennis ball. The courts are dirty and in need of a clean. The air conditioning doesn't work making it difficult to breathe once you have warmed up. The management team need to up their game, I would give them a rating of 10.2.

A fair day at the Elex Show, not as many stalls as expected, though most people treading the water !! Talking of which, I sat in the cafe to Relax Though had an internal shower !! Which I reported immediately, hopefully they got the problem solved. Overall it was a good day, enjoyed the talks and also taking to many other people as well.

Use this venue for the gym only. The gym is very spacious and there are lots of equipment to use. The gym is very clean and even when it is busy you can still find equipment to use. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that sometimes the receptionists can be slow when checking you in. They need to bring back the self check in system so that this is improved. Update The check in at reception has greatly improved.

We went here for the Stars and Cars Event. The arena was a good size, very clean inside. There was only two cafe's though which was very busy.

Haircut & Gym . I've not visited the arena for years but a new hairdresser uses it with his van parkes outside the entrance has started up there and I went into the arena afterwards. I'd forgot how good a facility the arena is . I had a coffee and lunch and am going back next week to align up for gym membership 👏🏼👍🏻

Good gym. The gym itself is quite big with space and equipment. The classes run quite regularly but can often be challenging to get on to as they fill up quickly. The cost of this gym is not bad for what you get, you need to take a look first before signing up, With so much selection of gyms now it's worth a good look around to see what suits you as in the past I have been charged more for a much lower quality of service at other gyms.

Great place to work out. Men's showers upstairs in changing rooms are black mould on roof and walls. Keep complaining for weeks now. Nothing has been done as yet

Outside pitches have had a recent replacement and brand new fencing. Still more work needs going in the surrounding area (cleanliness, litter and landscaping). However it doesn't affect the playing area and atmosphere.

I am member of the gym (£39 a month), I got injured at work, May 1st night shift, and I went to ED 2nd and GP 3th to confirm my injury and sick leave and recovery between 2 to 3 weeks. I called 3th in the afternoon to ask to freeze membership or return the Direct Debit, receptionist told me to send an email because the office where closed. Next day email from the Bolton Arena saying that they can’t do anything, no money back (which they can as I request it the next day after the DD) or freezing account during my recovery. They don't care about members... just money.

Good exhibition space but very small cafe and unable to cope with exhibition crowds waiting to get in. Car parking right outside is good but visitors directed to the overflow car park through the gates even though spaces available which they seemed to be keeping for exhibitors. This is in awful condition with large potholes and very, very muddy on a wet day. By the time we walked in my shoes and trousers were covered in mud. It was in the same poor condition last year. Needs repairing and tarmacing urgently and a total disgrace.

Excellent, low-cost tennis programmes for kids. There is a café inside which closes whenever the staff decide (don't assume the stated opening times apply).

Before I start I am no kill joy.. However tonight on 10/6/22, you had an event on and what can I only describe the band you had playing was like hearing cats mating… The sound of it was so loud our house was shaking because of the base…it got louder and louder…. we asked your receptionist what was going on? To be advised he had no clue and it would finish at 10pm… The band didn’t stop at 10pm, so we called again to then receive an automated out of hours which I find this very unprofessional! Myself and the residents of the estate have recordings of the band speaking fowl language and to prove how loud this event were so I will be talking this matter further. Thank you

Tennis lessons @ Bolton Arena is highly recommended. From the warm welcome, to the great level of patience, Jake and his team have instilled confidence into my daughters and improve their skills at the same time. They even tend to provide a free trial lesson to see if it is for you.
