We adopted fudge at the weekend. He is wonderful and he is getting to know his new home

Lovely staff - today was very hot and I had my Pekingese Edward and border terrier Stanley with me in the shop. I then needed to go to M&S and the staff at pets at home offered to look after my dogs rather than leave them in the car. Thanks Louie and other member of staff for your kind gesture.

Received a lecture for 20 mins from the sales assistant on how to do water changes, volume of tanks and why we should keep live plants.. Ater telling him we had to leave, was refused the sale of a goldfish, if we wasnt prepared to listen to him..The fact that there were half a dozen dead fish already in various tanks was hardly inspiring, especially when he admitted that he hadn't checked the water that morning. Decided to walk out and go elsewhere rather than listen to his drivel any longer..

It's okay. It is very busy at weekends, so be prepared for that. The staff are really helpful and pleasant to talk to. The Downside is that they have stopped stocking my fur baby's favourite treats. Their own brand is fine, but it's not the same. And he knows it. 🐕

We went here to get quite a few things for our dogs. Dominic served us at the till and went above and beyond, saved us money and even got someone to go get us a trolley. Wonderful customer service.

Should be more treats and food shelves off the floor. More help on the floor should be available Which every time I go isn't..food freezers should be neater more storage. Freezers checked regularly for food leaking. Off mince which IV had a few times off stinks. But apart from that is a good store Just not that clean or cared about where food is.

Good vets and good animals. Had a rabbit from here and he lived 8 and a half years. Good choice of treats and food for your pets.

Went to que for the animal food as I got to the till they asked me to go to another que and line up again . I went to the other que and waited got to the till and they again asked for us to que again in the same place that I had just waited in . How can a shop not have a way to simply allow customers to pay for their items . Really badly organised and the person at the till was really unhelpful.

I have nothing against people working at shop. Just why the hell prices not say they are VIP. I see white price labels with prices. It says nowhere that price is only for vip members. Absolutely gutted item costed £5 more. I would not buy it. Take example from Tesco there is very nicely written what is prise with tesco card and without. Feeling conned. But after waiting almost 10 minutes i queue I just was lazy to not buy it

My wife and I adopted a dog yesterday and travelled up to pets at home late on yesterday evening, as we were looking around for the essentials we needed to be ready for when our dog arrives, we were unsure of the dog crate we required so asked for some assistance, this is where we met Leah, being from a management background I could tell that she was either relatively new to the job or lacked a little confidence, Leah you needn't of been nervous you answered all of our questions fantastically and even upsold us a few items as we were going around the store, fair play to you, you are a credit to the store and we really appreciated your help, hopefully these reviews are read and recocognised by your management team, these days people are quick to put a bad review on but won't go to the effort to send praise when it's due, so well done Leah and thanks again . Use mainly for our cats veterinary needs. The location is convenient for us with good parking. Store is reasonably priced with a good range of products.

I went into this store on Saturday with my two grandsons and a 16 week old puppy we had just collected , the staff were excellent , one lady told me that if I download the pets at home app I would receive 20% off my puppy shopping which was fantastic , a young lady named Anna downloaded it for me and then helped me find everything I needed , she put a harness I chose on my puppy and took other things to the till for me as I carried on shopping . I bought a car booster seat for my pup and I asked Anna if she would mind fitting it for me , she said yes , I haven't fitted one before but I will try . She came outside with us and put the seat together on the car park and then she spent quite a bit of time fitting the seat into the back of my car . This was so helpful when I was struggling with two very boisterous grandsons and a puppy , such excellent customer service is rarely seen these days , thank you very much Anna

Went to buy some fish and was greeted by Dom. His knowledge on fish and his customer service skills are second to none! As long as Dom works there I'll never go anywhere else for my fish or for advise on my fish.

Had everything we needed, all in one place, loads of choice too. Great friendly staff who acknowledged my dog before they did me....perfect 🐾🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I rang up to ask about a rabbit id spotted in the adoption section, i was spoken to so poorly and abruptly. I asked how old the rabbit was and was told “it should matter to you about age, they should all be loved equally”. Disgusting way to speak to customers as i am entitled to know information before i buy.

Due to circumstances i had to adopt my rabbit. They ladies at Pets at home was so reassuring & caring they was giving him all the attention i know he will be looked after & go to a loving home Thank you for all your help you have been great

Went with my daughter to buy a fish tank. The staff were really lovely. They helped my daughter to pick a lovely diamond shaped fish tank and explained what fish best suited the tank and how many. There is also an array of animals from pet rats,hamsters,rabbits, guinea pigs etc plus an array of pet foods,cages etc. Lovely place.

Everything in one place, fully stocked, knowledgeable staff with full on site vets facilities....Well recommended 👌

I would never by a pet from here again. I bought two baby rabbits just a year ago and told they were both female and from the same litter. Within days the bigger one became aggressive toward the other and us. I was told their was nothing the shop could do and to persevere. The smaller one died a month later. The bigger one which turned out to be male , did settle down although could not pick him up at all. He had to come to you which was not a problem. He died this morning . Both rabbits were very well looked after and loved and died within a year. My daughter and grandson are devastated.

Pretty standard service, nothing special, PAH do not let queues last for long and always all extra staff to tills which is a good thing

Love that fish girl with tattoos. She's always nice and wery knowledgeable. I always go there and if she's not in then I better come back the other day when she is back.

Staff always friendly and helpful, large stock of everything your furbabies will need

Plants are never in stock for aquariums, but other than that the staff are always really helpful and pleasant.
